Global Game: I Have Portable Store

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Danger! Zombie Face Attack

The leaves outside the window are still in the wind, and the time on the computer screen stops at 7:30.

The body cannot move, only the consciousness is active.

The Divine Spirit shattered the gears of time.

[Doomsday Game Begins]

[First Round, Low-level Zombie Apocalypse]

[Deploy all humans in the target world]

[Task: Survive for thirty days and accumulate one thousand points]

[Warning, life is only once, and the meaning of life is in this]

[This is a game, and it is also the truth]

······

The golden sunset spreads over the broken windowsill, outside comes a low growling sound, like the agony of a terminally ill patient.

In sight is a shabby and dust-covered room.

Su Changxing leans against the wall, feeling somewhat confused. He doesn’t know what happened, only remembers that he was in the room playing on the computer, and suddenly he’s in this place.

Is this a dream? It’s too real.

Su Changxing pinches the flesh on his arm forcefully, the pain pierces his heart.

”Not a dream...”

Su Changxing calmly judges that he should have been brought here by some kind of supernatural force, or as the voice hinted, all humans have been brought here.

”The clothes are still the same as before, is there anything else...”

In his pocket is a phone, a black one he has never seen before.

There is a line of dark red letters like blood on it.

[Main Task: Survive for thirty days and accumulate 1000 points]

[Side Task Refreshing]

[Side Task 1: Familiarize yourself with the phone (10 points)]

[Side Task 2: A zombie outside the door has smelled your scent and is approaching you.

1. Run away. (10 points)

2. Kill it. (100 points)

3. Commit suicide. (You are not suitable for living in this world)]

Suicide?

Su Changxing feels a twinge of anger at seeing the third option. He’s worked so hard to live for so many years, how could he commit suicide?

Even if he is to die, he will struggle till the end, to resist this unfair fate.

Unknowingly, Su Changxing stands up, suddenly realizing that he can actually stand.

”What is going on with this?”

Despite the crisis, Su Changxing feels a hint of joy. He was previously paralyzed in the lower body due to an illness, but now he can actually stand up.

Wobbling, Su Changxing adapts to the feeling of standing, though he feels weakness throughout his body, he is not much different from an ordinary person.

Now, he must not die.

Su Changxing calmly thinks about how he should escape.

Looking out the window, over ten stories high, the street is littered with broken cars, and some ”people” wander aimlessly.

The floor is too high to jump out of the window, the only way is through the door.

Just at this moment, a loud banging is heard at the door.

It’s that zombie!

The door is made of wood, already decayed, with cracks appearing as it is pounded.

Clearly, the door won’t hold much longer.

”Directly confront the zombie?”

Su Changxing immediately dismisses this idea. First, he doesn’t know the zombie’s combat power.

Secondly, although he has recovered an ordinary person’s body, the weakness throughout his body reminds him that his combat power is certainly still not as good as an ordinary person.

At least, he needs some chance of victory.

Su Changxing looks around the room, finding nothing that can be used as a weapon. The window frame could be taken apart to use as a stick, but there is no time now.

Su Changxing shifts his gaze to the phone, it is his only chance.

Quickly browsing the phone, it has many functions, tasks, a forum, even viewing personal attributes.

Name: Su Changxing

Power: 2 (normal is 3, corrected due to disability)

Speed: 2 (normal is 3, corrected due to disability)

Physique: 2 (normal is 3, corrected due to disability)

Spirit: 5 (far beyond normal human intelligence, when God closes a door he must open a window)

Status: Disabled

Evaluation: Far below normal human combat power, a complete weakling, impossible to survive in this Doomsday World, suicide might be the wisest choice.

Su Changxing understands that although his disability is cured, it relatively weakens his attributes.

This should be a kind of compensation mechanism, a person half-paralyzed couldn’t survive in the apocalypse, but a weak ordinary person might.

Next, Su Changxing notices the messages continually sliding out from the top right corner of the phone.

[Ji Zhaonan 291110A was killed]

[Wang Zhonglan 292220A was killed]

[Li Mu 293210A was killed]

······

Within ten-odd seconds, such messages flash by more than a hundred times.

In a short time, over a hundred people worldwide have died, no, it should be in the area where he is.

Su Changxing notices that the numbers after these names are very similar, they must be from this area.

Su Changxing then flips to the forum interface, at the top in dynamic blood-colored letters reads:

[Survivors: Ten Billion]

Everyone has been placed into this Doomsday World.

The world Su Changxing is in happens to have ten billion people, as reported on the news yesterday when the world’s ten billionth baby was born.

Or could it be that the ten billion population is a catalyst for this Doomsday Game to start?

The forum already has hundreds of posts.

y-person: Urgent, what do I do if scratched by a zombie’s claw, waiting online.

Heartless Beast: I have practiced Sanda all year round, already taken out a zombie, initially judged that a zombie’s combat power is not weaker than an adult, even stronger, so don’t risk fighting casually.

······

A zombie’s combat power is equal to an adult.

Su Changxing quickly extracts the crucial information from amongst the many posts, in his current state facing a zombie there is certainly no chance of winning unless there is a suitable weapon.

Just as Su Changxing finished browsing the forum’s functions, the taskbar window popped up at the top of the phone.

[Completed side task, familiarized with phone functions, gained 10 points]

A task similar to a newbie guide, but what use are these points?

Subsequently, Su Changxing notices at the top there’s another function, the points discount shop.

It seems like you can exchange points for things.

Su Changxing opens the points shop and sees a melee weapon among the many items.

Steel Rod (Quantity 5), 50% off, 10 points.

Just enough to exchange.

”Thump thump~”

The pounding continues to echo, Su Changxing notices the door is about to crack open, without hesitation, he immediately exchanges for the steel rod.

Exchange.

A flash of white light, a brand-new dark steel rod appears out of thin air on the ground, the shiny surface reflecting the sunset glow.

Su Changxing holds the steel rod in his hand, feeling a little heavy, but can barely swing it.

”Snap!”

A crisp sound, a big hole breaks open in the middle of the wooden door.

Su Changxing smells the stench of decaying flesh and sees the true face of the zombie breaking through the door. Its skin is ashen gray, large patches on the face already rotted, its teeth bared, mouth full of thick dark red blood and pieces of flesh, the tattered gray jacket stained with fresh blood.

That’s fresh blood, this zombie has just killed someone!!
