Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 926: Chapter 15: Food Heaven

A group of people crossed the large open space on the first floor and proceeded to the staircase leading to the second floor, the restriction here has been lifted.

Following the wolf steward, as Su Xiao set foot on the staircase, he felt as if he had passed through a thin membrane.

After passing through this membrane, a strange aroma wafted toward him, enticing his appetite, his stomach growling.

”Could the second floor be related to food? I like it.”

Pibang, chewing on a piece of meat, still couldn’t satisfy his hunger.

”Such a pleasant aroma, just smelling it, my appetite is piqued.”

The cat woman licked the pad of her hand; she also began to feel hungry.

”Not good.”

The Golden Glasses Man adjusted his glasses.

As the group ascended the staircase, the situation on the second floor came into view.

Compared to the first floor, the second floor was much smaller, only a few hundred square meters, with rows of long banquet tables lined up, covered with food Su Xiao had never seen before, although unfamiliar, these foods were incredibly enticing.

Were it not within the Demon Castle, Su Xiao would have suspected he had walked into a buffet restaurant.

”Everyone, welcome to the second floor of the Demon Castle, Food Heaven.”

The wolf steward made a welcoming gesture, reminiscent of a steward of a distinguished noble household from the Middle Ages; however, he wasn’t inviting Su Xiao and the others to enter the second floor, he was inviting someone else.

A golden door on the inner side of the second floor opened, and a woman in a white dress stepped out, with her golden wave-like hair cascading down her tall and fair figure, so delicate it seemed she might break with a touch.

At her appearance, everyone, including Su Xiao, turned their gaze toward her.

The moment he saw the woman, Su Xiao’s mind was a bit dazed, a thought uncontrollably arose in him, to abduct this woman.

Beside him, the Golden Glasses Man had a mesmerized look in his eyes, clearly about to kneel before his queen.

Their thoughts were worlds apart.

Not only the men present, but even the cat woman and the Detective Little Girl felt an instinctive urge to approach this woman.

Seconds later, Su Xiao’s gaze was restored to normal, and soon after, the other Contractors followed suit.

This woman was indeed peculiar, she carried an aura upon her entrance; this aura was literal, not metaphorical.

The woman’s skin emitted a faint golden glow, her every move brought a feeling of warmth and comfort.

”Everyone, welcome to my castle.” ℯℯ𝑙.

The woman spoke, her voice soft.

Upon hearing her words, Su Xiao’s muscles tensed; this woman was Alice, leaving aside her other abilities, her charm was something against which even his Blade of Mind couldn’t be immune.

Does Queen Alice in the Demon Castle only rely on charm? Of course not, she is the Dominator within this castle.

Alice’s appearance was quite surprising to Su Xiao, he hadn’t anticipated she’d appear so soon.

”Your Majesty The Queen.”

The wolf steward knelt on one knee, showing respect.

”I am merely an illusion at this moment, wolf steward, no need for such ceremony.”

Alice remained gentle.

”Understood.”

The wolf steward stood, quickly moving behind Alice; this wasn’t Alice’s true form, but a clone or illusion.

”Brave heroes, do not be so guarded; the existence of this castle is not for my personal amusement, it’s a birthplace for the strong, Alice may need your help, brave heroes, in the future. Outside this castle, Alice is but a weak woman, thus she will host the second game for the brave heroes, surely this is no objection.”

Alice clasped her hands in front of her chest, was that hope in her eyes?

Based on the meaning conveyed through these words, Alice seemed to be a gentle, kind beauty; but is that really the case?

As for Alice hosting the second game, refusal seemed impossible, her wolf steward had already pulled out the Fate Revolver, the implication clear—anyone who refused would be invited to taste bullets.

”Queen Alice personally hosting the game, is my Luck. As a gentleman, of course, I won’t refuse a lady’s request, especially a peerless beauty like Miss Alice.”

The Golden Glasses Man discreetly laid on the compliments.

With a cheerful smile, Alice walked forward, linking her arm with the Golden Glasses Man’s, making his bones melt.

”Such a flatterer.”

As Alice turned her back on the others, the smile on her face vanished.

”Huh?”

The face of the Golden Glasses Man turned green.

”Um? What’s wrong, gentleman?”

Alice looked at the Golden Glasses Man with puzzled, pitiful eyes.

”Nothing, nothing at all, I must’ve imagined it.”

Really nothing? If nothing were amiss, the Golden Glasses Man’s legs wouldn’t be trembling.

”Such blessing.”

Su Xiao smiled, noticing something amiss.

”Indeed, brother, you want to give it a try?”

Pibang chuckled nearby.

”Life is more important than beauty.”

”Agreed.”

Their conversation caught the ears of the Detective Little Girl; she was somewhat puzzled, seeing the Golden Glasses Man’s expression almost losing his soul, happiness to the point of dying, seemingly unrelated to life and death.

Following Alice’s lead, the group arrived at the center of the room, with a round table set with various foods, nine seats in total.

Alice sat at the main seat; under the wolf steward’s ’service’, the others took their places.

”After three days of rushing on the first floor, you must be famished, and the second game involves tasting delicacies, wolf steward.”

With a wave from Alice, the wolf steward understood, beginning to divide the sumptuous food into nine portions, one for each person, including Alice.

A few minutes later, a plate before Su Xiao carried a steak, a dessert, and beside it a tall glass.

Alice rose, grabbing a bottle of wine from the table; it was red wine, and she went around pouring it for each person.

Soon, Alice returned to the main seat, picking up her knife and fork.

”Please, enjoy.”

Alice cut a small piece of steak, her lips parted slightly, placing the steak into her mouth, chewing slowly, her face never losing its smile.

[Prompt: Second round game starts.]

Receiving the prompt from Reincarnation Paradise, Su Xiao looked at the food before him—a steak, a dessert, half a glass of wine—could the second round game be about consuming these?

Someone had to be the first to try the ’crab’, and that person was Pibang.

Pibang was calm, judging from the scent and color that the food wasn’t poisonous and sensing no abnormalities, he picked up the knife and fork, cutting a piece of steak and sending it into his mouth for careful chewing.

Suddenly, Pibang’s eyes widened, the others all looked at him.

”Damn, that’s delicious.”

Pibang swallowed the steak with a gulp, clearly savoring every bit.

”You startled me, thought you would drop dead.”

The Detective Little Girl murmured, picking up her knife and fork as well.

While Pibang prepared to cut another piece of steak, his face turned pale, quickly pulling out a glass bottle and downing its contents, a Recovery Potion...
