Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1371: Chapter 1370: This Time, It’s My Turn to Ambush You!

As Fang Zheng gave the order, the entire battle system of the Heavenly Dao Palace immediately sprang into action. Several tens of battleships and fearless ships swiftly took their positions. The Ship of Inheritance also gradually changed its orbit, coming to rest above the Arctic Circle.

Fang Zheng certainly wouldn’t underestimate that bastard. Just from what happened earlier, it was clear that in this place, that guy was practically in his element. The strength of the Chaos Aura around it far exceeded the range of ordinary people’s understanding. If Fang Zheng didn’t have the Fungal Carpet and Crystal Tower at his disposal, he would have definitely turned tail and run, or tried to lure that evil dragon to the Order Territory to deal with it.

But now... I’ll give you a hard time right here!

While quickly instructing the Tanji and worker bees to construct a large Order Territory in this area, Fang Zheng kept a wary eye on the standoff below between the Pope and the evil dragon through the Aliens. The evil dragon was clearly tough to deal with, but the Pope also seemed unyielding. However, Fang Zheng could see that if the standoff continued, things would obviously not be in the Pope’s favor.

After all, the evil dragon could attack intermittently, whereas the Pope could not afford to make any mistakes. A moment of negligence, and the other side would break through the restraints... Although Fang Zheng didn’t know how these two started fighting in the first place, he certainly wouldn’t pass up this chance to take a potshot.

He still remembered how the evil dragon successfully ambushed him back in the day and simultaneously took a direct hit from his Rapid Star River. Although the Star Forging Dragon King dissipated because the system went offline, its attack still hit the bastard solidly. Was the Star Forging Dragon King’s full-powered strike a joke?

From the time of that ambush until now, at most half a year had passed. Looking at it now, this evil dragon was still far from recovered. Otherwise, the Pope wouldn’t have come alone to confront it.

But now, it seemed that something had clearly gone wrong.

Either the Pope had miscalculated, or the evil dragon’s recovery was far beyond expectations. But regardless, Fang Zheng wouldn’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance to deal with it. Are you kidding me? This guy is his mortal enemy, and if it recovered fully, he would undoubtedly be in deep trouble.

This being is as terrifying as a demon, and must not be allowed to remain!

Time passed second by second, and with the full efforts of the Swarm and Tanji, this land was completely covered by Order. However, Fang Zheng’s expression did not improve because he just received a report from the Vampires and other Destroyers responsible for perimeter scouting. On the other side of the Twilight Frontier, those Chaos creatures seemed to sense something and were gradually approaching this way.

If this continued, he might not be able to kill that evil dragon and could end up fighting those fools at the Twilight Frontier first. Fang Zheng was not willing to expose his strength at this time.

What’s more troubling for Fang Zheng was that the Pope was already struggling to hold on, and more importantly, since the Pope was not aware that someone was outside waiting to assist, he seemed likely to make a desperate gamble.

If the Pope were to sacrifice himself here, that would be truly laughable!

Fang Zheng wanted to use the Aliens to establish contact with the Pope, but the form of the Aliens really didn’t inspire much confidence. Not to mention, the standoff was at a critical stage, and the Pope couldn’t possibly be distracted... Right, how could he forget about that guy?

”You, notify the Pope immediately!”

Fang Zheng pulled over the Golden Dragon Girl and looked at her seriously.

”Tell the Pope we’re right above, ready to act at any moment. If the Pope is sure we can handle that creature, listen for my signal, and when I initiate the attack, deactivate the barrier and retreat. We’ll send someone to assist!”

”Alright.”

The Golden Dragon Girl nodded, then closed her eyes, her hands moving swiftly. Soon, a golden radiance flashed before her eyes. Fang Zheng saw the figure tremble slightly, and after a while, as if making up its mind, it waved its hand.

”Very well, everyone listen to my orders: Nymph, start charging the Recombination Device! Elizabeth, prepare the Doomsday Weapon! Elune, Leviathan should reach the designated orbit, ready to act anytime! Report status! Homura, how’s everyone else’s preparation?”

”Recombination Device chargings at 85%, five seconds until complete.”

”Doomsday Weapon ready, can fire at any time.”

”Swarm in position.”

”Little Sakura, Nanoha, Fate, Illya, and Little Hei are all ready. Anzu is leading the other Magical Girls behind for support.”

”We’re here too, Brother Fang Zheng. Sister Black Katie brought us, and we’ve arrived on the battlefield.”

Natsuse also responded from the other side.

”Good.”

Fang Zheng glanced at the VF fighters circling in the sky and nodded. Truth be told, this was quite the formation. He hadn’t intended to treat fighting a single evil dragon as his final boss battle. But the situation changed when the girls learned that the opponent Fang Zheng was dealing with was the one that stabbed him and almost caused him to not come back, they all volunteered to join him on the front lines. So, Fang Zheng had no choice but to bring them along.

Especially Black Katie, Tilia, and Nymph, who stood in the command room with expressionless faces, staring at the ground before them.

Honestly, Fang Zheng found this atmosphere rather intimidating. The pressure in the command room was so low that even Iona didn’t dare to play with her starfish.

”Ready, the Pope can start acting anytime now.”

Upon hearing this, the Golden Dragon Girl hurriedly established contact with the Pope. Moments later, Fang Zheng observed through the Aliens as the Pope suddenly raised his hands. Accompanying the Pope’s motion, light beams from all directions became dazzlingly bright, illuminating the entire cave!

”Utterly foolish! This is merely your futile struggle at death’s door!”

The shadow was clearly quite afraid of this radiance, shrinking instantly, though still managing to talk tough.

”No one can defeat me, not even you! The Goddess of Order is long dead; in this world, I have no equal!”

”Bang!!”

As if to echo the shadow’s words, the beams restraining it shattered at that moment, and the Pope’s figure trembled and was sent flying backward. Simultaneously, the shadow broke free from its bindings and emerged from the dark cave.

”This is your day of death!”

”Nymph, fire the Recombination Device!!”

At that moment, Fang Zheng coldly gave the order.

An orange light beam descended from the sky, striking the ground.

The Recombination Device in the halo was originally used to decompose and restructure life information into a new inorganic life form. However, after obtaining the Recombination Device, Fang Zheng modified it. From Fang Zheng’s perspective, the reassembling function of the Recombination Device was redundant; instead, its ability to initialize information caught Fang Zheng’s interest more.

As everyone knows, no matter how messy your system is, no matter how many fragments your hard drive has, no matter how many problems your files contain — formatting takes care of all disobedience!

Indeed, this is Fang Zheng’s main reason for utilizing the Recombination Device. Whether order or chaos, the Recombination Device would ”format” all its information. Only this way could he significantly weaken the power of the evil dragon. Now, let’s see how far he can go!

Everything struck by the orange beam was instantly reduced to ashes—not destroyed, but completely formatted, restored to its basic primal state. The firm and heavy ground was simply pierced by a massive hole by the Recombination Device. The beam shot through hundreds of meters, striking the massive shadow.

”Boom!!!!”

With a thunderous explosion, the mist swirling around the shadow rapidly dissipated under the Recombination Device’s strike. The shadow let out a miserable cry and limply collapsed.

”Now, go quickly!”

”Huh? You want me to go?”

Startled by Fang Zheng’s command, the Golden Dragon Girl widened her eyes at the torrent of light beams not far off, then looked at Fang Zheng.

”Wait, you’re sending me to my death! That evil dragon is still down there!”

”It’s temporarily suppressed by me, so quickly go and help the Pope up! Don’t waste time!”

After finishing these words, Fang Zheng appeared behind the Golden Dragon Girl in a flash, then kicked her on the behind.

”Wah———!!!”

Letting out a scream, the next moment, the Golden Dragon Girl was ”sent” out of the starship, flailing as she plummeted down. In mid-air, she gleamed with golden light, transforming into a Golden Dragon tens of meters long.

”You wait! I’ll settle the score with you when I get back!!!”
