Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 506: Chapter 505 This Goddess is Really Poisonous!

Of course, Fang Zheng still went in the end.

However... considering Fina’s presence, he still gave her a bit of security.

”You can relax now, right?”

Watching the figures of several girls appear and disappear within the dark mist, Fang Zheng asked with a smile. Upon hearing his question, Nymph and Iona didn’t react much, but Fina shyly lowered her head.

”It’s just... it feels a bit... embarrassing...”

But that was to be expected.

Seeing Fina blush, Fang Zheng just shrugged his shoulders. Although this room listed ”no clothes allowed” as a rule of order, it didn’t forbid the casting of magic. Hence, Fang Zheng followed the example of many scenes he had seen on television and cast a Dark Arts spell on each of them.

Well... Shadow Priest stuff was deeply detested by the audience, but it’s not like Fang Zheng had a better idea, right?

It was only natural for Fina to feel uncomfortable. After all, the Dark Arts spell was merely mist, which at best obscured vision. It didn’t provide any physical sensation. So, even though Fina seemed to be concealed by the Shadow Priest’s magic, she still felt as if she weren’t wearing any clothes.

Of course, Fang Zheng also cast a Dark Arts spell on himself because otherwise, Fina probably wouldn’t dare to look at him.

”Alright, what’s going on here? You must know something about this situation.”

Noticing Fina’s embarrassed look, Fang Zheng quickly changed the topic. He had sensed that something was odd about her previously; clearly, she knew there was a problem here. But Fang Zheng was sure that Fina didn’t know how this place operated; otherwise, with her character, she would never have come in with him.

”Ah, yes...”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s question made Fina blush even more, while Fang Zheng just folded his arms, watching her intently. In truth, Fina didn’t know that although Fang Zheng truly used Dark Arts to ”censor” them, and such darkness filled with rich magic power was generally impervious, unfortunately, as a being with Time Dragon bloodline, Fang Zheng had the innate Dark Vision of dragonkind. Even in complete darkness, he could see everything clearly... In other words, even the dark created by magic power was virtually non-existent to Fang Zheng’s eyes.

Well... Iona and the spear are still children, Nymph is about the same, and all of them are kids with not much hair grown yet.

As for Fina... not very big, but nicely shaped, the color down there is as light as her hair, huh, quite similar to Tilia actually, interesting...

”Mr. Fang Zheng?”

”Ah, cough cough... So, can I know what you learned from the Goddess’s leftover message?”

”This... this...”

Faced with Fang Zheng’s question, Fina once again lowered her head, her face turning crimson. After a moment, she spoke in a whisper.

”Having a drink while bathing is so comfortable...”

”...?”

”After working all day, taking a bath really is the best... And to think I accidentally found such a wonderful hot spring, I should let others enjoy it too... My children who inherit my will, if you’re tired, you can also come here to relax your minds and bodies, for I am quite generous... Oh, right, the later arrivals, remember to play with ’Poppy’ for a while, they’ve been maintaining this place and need to rest...”

Towards the end, Fina’s voice grew fainter, barely audible. If it weren’t for Fang Zheng’s superior hearing, he probably wouldn’t have heard anything at all.

Even so, Fang Zheng, Nymph, and Iona were perplexed by her response.

What kind of bizarre message is this?

No wonder Fina seemed hesitant to speak; this hardly qualifies as a divine message, it feels more like a boss leaving a note for their employees on vacation...

Is the Goddess really alright?!

If this prophecy were to be made public, it would likely cause the Sanctuary’s faith to collapse.

”... So, does it say how to get out?”

”This...”

This time, Fina pondered for a moment and then shook her head.

”No...”

”......”

Well, Fang Zheng was certain of it now, this Goddess of Order must have a screw loose.

”Let’s look around, there should be some clues here...”

Although what Fina had said before sounded quite bizarre, at least Fang Zheng had obtained some clues. For starters, those spheres they had encountered earlier were probably called ”Poppy,” and according to the messages left by the Goddess, they were supposed to be maintenance personnel responsible for this facility. Moreover, from the way the Goddess of Order had been casually inputting commands, it was almost certain that she came from some higher civilization.

This wasn’t actually difficult to figure out. If Fang Zheng had brought a bunch of mind models to an alien planet, he wouldn’t bother maintaining his dignity by saying ambiguous things to the natives either. In fact, he had also suspected that the words of the Goddess in the scriptures had been artistically processed, since those records were just too fitting.

But if those really were records of the ”words” of the Goddess, then there definitely would be some ”spoken” parts.

It’s like an actor on a stage, if they dramatically exclaimed, ”Ah, Romeo, why art thou Romeo?” people would marvel at the acting skills, but in real life, anyone speaking like that would be regarded as a lunatic...

However, that brought him back to the question: what had become of the Goddess of Order now?

As he pondered, Fang Zheng also carefully observed the walls around him, trying to find some sort of clue. Although it seemed like they had simply fallen down just before, Fang Zheng had already checked the ceiling and confirmed there was no mechanism involved. Therefore, it was very likely that they had activated some kind of teleportation array that transported them from that room to here.

Since this was a place for the Goddess of Order to take a hot spring bath, there had to be a design for leaving.

Even though that’s what Fang Zheng thought, finding this way out was not easy. He searched everywhere but didn’t find any clues. Although Fang Zheng had thought of activating Future Sight and even casting a Prophecy Spell, perhaps due to some interference in the area, his spells didn’t produce the expected effect.

But on second thought, that made sense: this was the Goddess’s bathhouse, and she surely would have arranged some methods to prevent peeping. One of the main uses of Prophecy System spells was for spying, and maybe someone, out of boredom, might try to use a Prophecy Spell to see where the Goddess was, only to see the Goddess in the hot spring, eating hot pot and singing songs... That would ruin everything.

This was truly troublesome.

Looking at the enormous bathhouse in front of him, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but feel a mix of tears and laughter. They hadn’t encountered any sealed Demon Creatures or dangerous traps, and now they were stuck in the Goddess’s bathhouse... What kind of situation was this?

And even teleportation was useless...

Fang Zheng had tried a Teleportation Spell, but as he expected, some powerful force here blocked teleportation capabilities, clearly rendering it useless.

”Captain, I’ve found something strange.”

”Oh?”

At Iona’s voice, Fang Zheng turned his head toward where she was and, with a swift dive, made his way quickly over to not far from her. There he saw his secretary ship floating quietly in the hot spring, her expression unchanged as she pointed to a circular gemstone about one meter in diameter on the wall beside her.

”This... looks like a button.”

Looking at the circular gemstone before him, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but narrow his eyes, then hesitated for a moment before reaching out and gently pressing on the gemstone.

In the next moment, he saw the gemstone in front of him suddenly emit a dazzling radiance.

Immediately after...

”Gurgle gurgle gurgle...”

”What’s that noise? Commander?”

Fina, Nymph, and Javelin had also arrived behind Fang Zheng. After he pressed the button, they heard a muffled sound, like bubbles rising. Hearing this, Fang Zheng was stunned, and then suddenly, his face turned pale with shock.

”Not good!”

”Whoosh—————!!”

Before Fang Zheng could finish speaking, a massive whirlpool appeared out of nowhere, and before he had time to react, a furious rush of water slapped them, taking him and the others along with screams, disappearing into the center of the giant whirlpool.
