System Came When the Doctor was Thirty

At this moment, Professor Tan Zhongyuan suddenly appeared at the vascular suturing venue.

Seeing that the venue was in preparation, he walked straight in: ”Tong Yuan’an, I heard someone say that the Lu Cheng you brought is at the top of both lists?”

”What on earth is going on here?” Tan Zhongyuan raised his eyebrows in disbelief.

Lu Cheng being knocked out of the tendon suturing track was something they had anticipated ahead of time, which is why Professor Tan Zhongyuan stopped the one-size-fits-all selection system of Xiangya Second Hospital.

To manage the number of participants and prevent people from County Hospital from competing, isn’t this nonsense?

Tan Zhongyuan had long thought of letting Lu Cheng carry the hand surgery Tendon Suturing Technique to excel and bring out the name of Xiang Province as a province strong in tendon suturing.

But?

Tong Yuan’an seems to never have told him about Lu Cheng also meddling in general surgery.

”I don’t know either, Director Tan.”

”In general surgery, Xiangya Second Hospital’s Chen Song has always been in contact with Lu Cheng.” Tong Yuan’an said.

”And for this competition, the emergency department did not participate, and Chen Song also did not come to Sha City.”

Tan Zhongyuan asked, ”Have you heard anything said about this?”

Tong Yuan’an nodded: ”Chen Song is now fully out of work, collaborating with Lu Cheng on a project.”

Tan Zhongyuan’s eyebrow immediately raised: ”Why didn’t you mention this to me?”

Tong Yuan’an’s tone was not weak at all: ”Director Tan, you said that we should not bring up Chen Song’s affairs anymore, right? He has nothing to do with our hand surgery department.”

Tan Zhongyuan: ”...”

Xie Ziyuan watched Tong Yuan’an stabbing his teacher and quickly spoke to mediate: ”Brother Tong, although this is an important matter, it can still be mentioned.”

After all, Tan Zhongyuan is the director and the big boss, and Tong Yuan’an didn’t want to be angry with him either.

”Back then, Xiao Lu, before going to E Province, actually just asked for an opportunity to go out.”

”From the time he first started learning tendon suturing to mastering our hospital’s technique, it only took two months in total, from here you can see a lot.”

”That’s why I kept trying, again and again.”

”But mainly Chen Song was always obstructing, he never allowed me to privately contact Lu Cheng, otherwise no matter what, I would have brought him over.”

”I even exchanged things to make it happen.” Tong Yuan’an replied.

”It’s just, this person Xiao Lu!” Tong Yuan’an patted his chest: ”Keeps things in his heart.”

”He has his own ideas and aspirations, before figuring out this direction, it’s hard to entice him.”

”What is it?” Tan Zhongyuan of course knew this might be one of the opportunities to recruit Lu Cheng, otherwise, Tong Yuan’an would not introduce this topic without reason.

Tong Yuan’an then recounted what Lu Cheng told him: ”Lu Cheng’s statement is that he’s seeking peace of mind, but according to my observation, this should just be an excuse!”

”After all, adults, in that situation back then, asking him to choose between me and Chen Song, if he didn’t want to choose, he could only find a favorable excuse.”

”His initial direction was Union Hospital.”

”And…” Tong Yuan’an looked at Tan Zhongyuan.

After listening, Tan Zhongyuan immediately responded, ”I understand.”

”I was wondering why Wang Zhe kept calling me recently, turns out this is what it’s about.”

”Was Wang Zhe in contact with you?”

Wang Zhe was Tan Zhongyuan’s student, who could also stay at the hospital back then, but Wang Zhe went to Union for ’love’, and Tan Zhongyuan could only hate him for being a romantic.

No wonder he made the decision to defy the master.

Wang Zhe didn’t betray, over these years, he kept plenty of contact with the master.

”He mentioned it briefly, but not very detailed.”

”Director Tan, I think this might be our only chance, I still insist on recommending Xiao Lu wholeheartedly!~”

Tong Yuan’an’s chubby face was serious: ”According to his development speed, as long as there are good opportunities, he can certainly grow quickly, the future growth ceiling, is hard to predict!”

”Based on my thoughts, I suggest directly telling Lu Cheng Ming, lest he thinks we are intentionally setting him up.”

”Explaining the situation beforehand is a gesture of goodwill.”

”Being wise after the event, that becomes scheming...”

Tan Zhongyuan touched his chin: ”Actually, my relationship with Teacher Zhong is quite good, I have always regarded him as a teacher.”

”But a teacher is also a teacher, he’s got a big family business and doesn’t care about one or two people.”

”Tong Yuan’an, strive to call him over tonight, I’ll push my dinner here...”

Tong Yuan’an said: ”I still have two matches.”

”Well, Xie Ziyuan, call Professor Liao and ask him to come over and cover for Tong Yuan’an.” Tan Zhongyuan quickly reacted.

”Do your best to call Xiao Lu over for dinner.”

”This time... we have to act fast.”

Even though Xie Ziyuan is following Professor Liao Fan, he is indeed Professor Tan Zhongyuan’s student and also Wang Zhe’s junior: ”Master, Brother Zhe won’t deceive us, right?”

”Did Professor Zhong at Union Hospital really use the Gu-raising model?”

”Don’t talk nonsense, hurry up and act, call Liao Fan!~”

”Forget it, I’ll call him myself.” Tan Zhongyuan said.

...

After Tan Zhongyuan left, Xie Ziyuan and Tong Yuan’an looked at each other, Tong Yuan’an looked calm, but Xie Ziyuan looked a bit uneasy.

After rubbing his chin vigorously, Xie Ziyuan said: ”Brother Tong, what if Xiao Lu has no intention of coming to our hospital?”

”That’s a personal choice, we can’t force someone.”

”I’ll check the subsequent data metrics.”

”After you’ve settled things with Professor Liao, send me a message, I’ll find Xiao Lu again to have a proper talk.” Tong Yuan’an turned and headed behind the scenes of the competition.
