System Came When the Doctor was Thirty

”How can a person be so shameless?”

Lin Qianlong straightforwardly exposed Du Qiang’s facade and act.

Lu Cheng’s mind was swaying back and forth.

He had considered that Du Qiang’s visit last night to scold him might not be just to vent his anger, but he never imagined that Du Qiang’s plan would be so unusual.

Scolding Lu Cheng was to make Lu Cheng return to the General Surgery Department.

Tell me, could an ordinary person think of such a thing...

However, upon closer thought, it does make sense.

It’s precisely because others don’t recognize Lu Cheng’s abilities, while Du Qiang happens to know that Lu Cheng is extraordinarily capable.

What kind of method can make Lu Cheng leave faster? A head of the General Surgery Department questioning Lu Cheng face to face why aren’t you helping me? Why aren’t you saving my patient?

Slamming the table until it’s broken, is that enough weight?

You, Lu Cheng, have such abilities, why aren’t you coming?

These questions appear mindless, seem like anger, seem like accountability, but they are actually the best defense of Lu Cheng’s abilities.

Long County People’s Hospital is a grassroots hospital, in a grassroots hospital, it’s not lacking a hand surgery doctor, but it definitely lacks doctors who can save more lives.

Because the main responsibility of a county hospital is to prevent death, as long as they don’t die, whether it’s transferring them... or paralysis, it doesn’t matter...

The primary task in the county hospital is to save lives, as long as they can bring someone back to life, regardless of whether they live well or not, it’s considered achieving the societal task.

This task is not easy to complete.

Ninety-nine percent of county hospitals cannot save those patients who can be saved.

”Director Lin...” Xie Liao had something to say.

Lin Qianlong directly extinguished Xie Liao’s words: ”Director Xie, this basic point is absolutely unchangeable.”

”Dr. Lu, can only maximize his benefits in the Emergency Department, everything else is nonsense.”

”If you truly care, giving Lu Cheng more surgical authorization from the hospital level is the proper thing to do.”

”Everything else is just fooling around.”

Lu Cheng is just an attending physician, in principle, he can only perform level two surgeries, but most of the life-threatening surgeries in the emergency department are level three techniques.

Surgical authorization can be granted by the hospital.

Even if it can’t be routinely granted, the hospital’s Medical Affairs Department can apply for special approval from the Health Bureau.

In a county hospital, this can be done to save more lives.

Lin Qianlong’s suggestion was directly pointed, and since Xie Liao is precisely from the Medical Affairs Department, he nodded: ”This can be considered, but it still depends on Dr. Lu’s own thoughts.”

”If Dr. Lu Cheng has the intention to develop as a specialist doctor, Director Lin you shouldn’t be too harsh.”

Lin Qianlong has backstage and connections, but Long County People’s Hospital is not Lin Qianlong’s personal playground, doing whatever he wants.

Any unit’s relations are intricate and complex, it’s not an absolute one-man show.

Even the county’s party committee can’t just dictate exactly how things will be at Renmin Hospital, they can only say the hospital will fully respect his decisions.

And his decisions must not cause any major blunders.

For instance, deciding to directly shut down the ICU is a ridiculous resolution, if you issue the document, the hospital can do so, but that’s his limit...

Someone will automatically assign BO1 to him.

Of course, the matter of Dr. Lu Cheng’s stay can still be settled directly by many people.

”Director Xie, thank you for your kind intentions, but my choice has already been expressed.”

”Even if I go to take the exam, it doesn’t mean I can leave once it’s passed, to put it bluntly, if I fail, if the hospital still wants me, I would greatly appreciate its kindness.” Lu Cheng’s response was rather mild.

This is actually one of the inevitable retreats.

Lu Cheng certainly might fail the exam, the selection exam is not a straightforward social recruitment, it has more tricks than social recruitment.

Just that outsiders aren’t aware of the existence of the selection exam, there might not even be a public announcement.

This is a stepping stone for many people.

But it’s just a stepping stone for many people, it can’t be for everyone, after all, people are also afraid of backlash.

The path of 50, the derivation of 49, leaving a chance of life, this principle is exemplified in the system.

Lin Qianlong confidently said, ”Director Xie, we have already discussed with Dr. Lu, he will only do clinical research in our Emergency Department in the future.”

”You move him elsewhere, Dr. Lu won’t recognize it.”

How could Lin Qianlong tolerate Lu Cheng being so flip? Given how well Long County People’s Hospital treats him?

There’s also a reason.

Setting a project into Long County People’s Hospital, specifically the Emergency Department, just say whether the head of Emergency Department is impressive, right?

When it comes to becoming a vice president, isn’t this an absolute bonus item? Can others get a project into the county hospital?

”Director Xie, actually to be honest, if it weren’t because our county lacks the conditions to do research projects, I might not choose to take the selection exam.” Lu Cheng clarified again.

”If you could find a suitable lab in Long County, I wouldn’t take the exam.”

Xie Liao, being administrative, should be more aware of the benefits that projects bring to the hospital and to individuals.

Not to mention Long County People’s Hospital, even within State People’s Hospital, whichever department can secure a project, that becomes the hospital’s benchmark achievement.

A company or organization would feel that this department is developing extremely well, belonging to a recognizable image.
