Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

But...

just getting a little closer, the Magic Defense Shield nearly shattered.

Those who followed Yang Yu, the Beastmen, gradually lost confidence in withstanding the next attack.

Many Magicians, gripping their Magic Wands, began to tremble slightly, unsure if it was due to pressure or some other reason.

Clenching their trembling hands, the Beastman Magicians still lifted their legs and followed closely behind the Shield Soldiers, constantly approaching the entrance behind the rubble on the difficult-to-climb slope.

The first line of Shield Soldiers was also not at ease.

To reduce the pressure on the Magic Shield and to avoid heavy magic attacks or flying debris hitting the Magic Shield, they actively exposed parts of their bodies outside the protective range of the Magic Shield, actively intercepting the long-range attacks from Luo Ze Empire.

Their shields were already pitted and cracked, spreading outwards with numerous cracks, with some stones even penetrating the shattered large shields, striking them.

But these Shield Soldiers did not make any sounds of pain, but advanced step by step as planned.

Just a bit closer, just a bit closer, they believed that their Grand General’s method must be reliable!

Hidden behind the rubble, Luo Ze’s troops allowed the Magic Device to fully recharge once again.

In an instant, more powerful large Fireballs were fired toward Yang Yu’s vanguard.

Almost all Beastman Magicians clenched their teeth at that moment, lifted their Magic Wands to construct Defense, and collectively countered the scorching Fireballs.

The Fireballs hit the Magic Shield, splitting into two streams of flames flowing left and right.

One could hear the roaring of these fiery Flame Magic in their ears, seemingly wanting to completely engulf Yang Yu’s vanguard.

”Hmph—overestimating themselves.”

Sunlight streamed through the gaps in the rubble, falling on the Luo Ze Empire troops stationed at the entrance and the Magic Device they operated.

They used a long row of console-like machines to gather Magic Power, then constructed Magic at specific positions to launch attacks.

The ”consoles” also had LCD screens displaying the situation around the entrance.

”Hurry up and strike a fatal blow! Don’t dawdle!”

Under an officer’s urge, several soldiers immediately injected more Magic Power into the machine.

They aimed to settle the battle in one fell swoop, but suddenly, a loud noise came from deep within the cave, startling them.

And this also caused the Magic Power they had gathered to disperse.

In a certain room in Blazing Fire City, Luo Ze Empire’s General Kai Lu was instructing some newly arrived special personnel.

A loud rumble suddenly sounded behind him, giving him a big scare.

Sitting beside the coffee table, a man with flowing green hair had just lifted his teacup but then set it down again.

”What exactly happened?”

General Kai Lu immediately summoned his subordinate to inquire about the situation.

However, his subordinate was clueless and could only hurriedly go to find out what was happening.

”It’s probably that Colorful-haired Masked Man causing trouble again.”

This time, a man with Dual Swords on his back spoke, his face filled with displeasure at the mention of the Colorful-haired Masked Man, but this displeasure quickly disappeared,

”Chief, you know what to do without me saying more.”

”Of course.”

Dreadful noises erupted behind him once again, but the green-haired young man faced the danger without fear, as he lifted his hand to take a sip of the tea in his grasp,

”For this reason, we have appeared in the vicinity of Qinghe Volcano.

I never expected it would come to me personally taking action.

I had even thought the Empire would continue to keep me sidelined.”

”There’s no helping it, after all, Aslit also suffered at his hands.

The only one who could possibly defeat him is you, Chief.

Speaking of which, that Aslit fella, even though he was confined for a month, the moment he got out, he hurriedly inquired about the whereabouts of the Colorful-haired Masked Man, wanting to be on the battlefield to redeem himself.

As you can imagine, that didn’t end well.

What a foolish woman.”

The green-haired man set down his teacup and looked toward the man with the Dual Blades on his back, ”Kui Yi, it feels like your personality has changed quite a bit.”

”It would be strange if it hadn’t changed.

I, too, have fought with that guy and he decimated most of my troops. Any other person would have their mindset change somewhat after being reprimanded like that.

Now, my sole focus is on the glory of the Luo Ze Empire and prioritizing the Empire’s tasks.”

”The glory of the Empire…”

The green-haired man muttered to himself but no further information could be read from his face...

Just at that moment, the soldier sent out by General Kai Lu to gather information returned with a report:

”General, the source of the noise is the sanctuary of the Blazing Fire Clan, and from what we know, just past the sanctuary is Qinghe Volcano, it seems there are enemies inside the volcano launching an attack on us!”

”Is there really such a matter?” General Kai Lu frowned deeply, ”The entrance by the pile of rocks, they cannot cross, do they intend to breach from another side of the volcano?”

”No. I don’t think so.” The green-haired youth stood up, grabbed the long hammer leaning against the corner, slung it over his shoulder, and walked toward the door, ”That would be too dangerous, I don’t think they’d have the courage for that.”

”I think, if it were the Colorful-haired Masked Man, he’d have the courage to do it.”

Kui Yi followed the steps of the green-haired youth and walked out,

”He’s quite confident in his own strength, I’ll say it again, if he shows up, you must strike him down instantly, Chief, don’t give him any chance to counterattack.”

”Understood. Just to be safe, let’s go to the sanctuary as you’ve suggested.”

While saying this, the green-haired man continued to accompany General Kai Lu to the sanctuary of the Blazing Fire Clan.

Whether or not the Colorful-haired Masked Man shows up, it was imperative to visit there.

Of course, encountering the Colorful-haired Masked Man there wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing.

While the attention inside Blazing Fire City was drawn towards the noise from the rock wall, Yang Yu led his troops to launch a real attack.

Whether it was the loud sound from within the volcano or something else, the magic missiles being launched from the stacked stone entrance suddenly lessened a bit, and the Beastmen’s shaky Magic Defense managed to find stable footing.

Seizing the opportunity, Yang Yu naturally wouldn’t let it slip by.

”Are you ready? My speed is very fast, just in case you can’t keep up…”

Yang Yu grabbed the rope, and at the sudden cessation of the fire, he tied up Chenshui, secured the rope, and lifted her up,

”Don’t struggle! Once we’re within range of the area magic, immediately channel Magic Power into the ground to detonate those rocks!

Do not hesitate, hesitation might get us both killed, while no hesitation could give us a chance to survive.”

Before Chenshui could react, Yang Yu charged toward the entrance, one hand holding Chenshui aloft and the other clutching a medium-sized Shield.
