The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1669: Chapter 1669: Encountering a Group with an Aura Similar to Rhine

She casually found a corner to stand in and wait.

During the time Nathalie Quinlan was waiting, other people arrived one after another, clearly attending the same Inderia event.

The group consisted of about seven or eight people, with blonde hair and blue eyes, typical foreign-looking features, high noses, and deep eyes. As they walked in, they all kept their eyes straight ahead and went to the hotel front desk to check in, meanwhile, the rest found corners to wait just like Nathalie Quinlan.

Each person carried an aura of sharpness that couldn’t be concealed.

The feeling was similar to those who had been frequently visiting the Rhine lately.

Just the same, they were deliberately restraining their energy, yet unable to entirely suppress the bloodthirsty sharpness.

Nathalie Quinlan couldn’t help but glance at them again.

Someone in the group seemed to sense her gaze, and a pair of hidden sharp eyes immediately turned in Nathalie Quinlan’s direction.

Nathalie Quinlan was somewhat surprised by the other’s sensitivity. She nonchalantly shifted her gaze, reaching out to adjust her duckbill cap to cover her face.

...

”What’s wrong?”

Someone in the group Nathalie Quinlan noticed not far away patted the man’s shoulder and asked.

The first man who noticed Nathalie Quinlan looking at them slowly withdrew his gaze, frowning slightly, and shook his head with some confusion: ”Nothing. I just noticed someone observing us, so I followed the line of sight and found it was a girl, she looked quite young. When I looked over, she immediately shifted her gaze elsewhere. I guess I was overthinking it. She might have just looked because we are a large group, curious to take a glance.”

As he spoke, the people beside him also glanced in Nathalie Quinlan’s direction, seeing just an ordinary girl, which didn’t reveal anything significant.

He couldn’t help but laugh, ”I think you’re overthinking it, too. That girl is probably around eighteen or nineteen, still a student. Maybe she came along with her tutor, don’t think too much about it.”

”Hmm.”

Zed Moore pursed his lips, then glanced again in the girl’s direction, frowning.

The girl stood alone to one side, and indeed, not far from her were a few middle-aged people who seemed to be engaged in research, looking like the tutors his companion mentioned.

He looked at the girl’s simple attire, not carrying anything extraneous, appearing just like an ordinary person.

He relaxed, feeling he had been too tense and overthinking things.

”Amadeus...”

Zed Moore didn’t wait for the other person to finish speaking, withdrew his gaze, and said in a low voice, ”Amadeus and his group have already arrived, staying elsewhere. Amadeus told us to stay at this hotel first. There’s a chance we might hear news about Ian Edbert here.”

The person beside him fell silent, nodding to show understanding.

Nathalie Quinlan no longer looked in that direction and stood idly on the spot for a while longer.

Finally, Master Cadmus and Shawn Norton returned together.

However, both of their faces didn’t look good.

”What happened?” Jackson Wafford immediately asked, following along.

Master Cadmus was furious: ”The rooms we initially reserved were changed from twin rooms in Area A to single king-size bed rooms. They said the number of attendees exceeded their expectations, and the rooms we reserved in the hotel weren’t enough. So they could only adjust us to king-size rooms.”

The original plan was two people per room.

Twin rooms would be more convenient to stay in.

It’s quite inconvenient for two people to share one bed!

Jackson Wafford was also dumbfounded: ”Master Cadmus, so how should we arrange the rooms now?”
