The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1651: Chapter 1651: Excuse Me, Are You an Honored Guest at Today’s Birthday Banquet?

Nathalie Quinlan arrived early at the Beijing Capital Airport in the afternoon.

After getting off the airplane, she took a taxi directly to the Imperial Hotel.

Outside the Imperial Hotel today, there were countless luxury cars parked, giving the impression that a large banquet was to be held here.

When Nathalie arrived, more luxury cars came one after another.

She glanced casually at these cars, noticing that each seemed more valuable than the last, yet the license plates were rather ordinary.

Some of them weren’t even Beijing plates.

In a place like Beijing, there are countless people who can afford luxury cars, and everyone is used to seeing them. People in Beijing tend to pay more attention to license plates rather than luxury cars themselves.

For instance, Amadeus Yancey’s Hongqi.

Its appearance is extremely understated, at first glance it might resemble an ordinary car worth tens or twenties of thousands.

But once you see the license plate, no matter if you’re unfamiliar with the car, you wouldn’t consider the person in the car as someone ordinary people could easily encounter.

However, today, these cars seemed extravagant, with each being a million-dollar luxury car, yet it was more like a spectacle to watch.

None of the slightly better Beijing license plates were present, indicating the social status of these people.

Nathalie pulled down her sweater’s hood, adjusting it over her head, her face expressionless. She placed her hands in her pockets and walked in casually...

”Hello, are you a VIP attending the birthday banquet today?” The waiter at the Imperial Hotel was exceptionally polite, not judging people by appearance.

After smiling and talking to Nathalie, he kindly reminded her: ”If you are a guest attending the birthday banquet, please proceed to the C1 banquet hall. If not, please have a meal upstairs or in the main hall.”

Nathalie responded softly, ”I’m here for a meal.”

”Alright. The second floor and other halls are available for use, please go directly there and someone will assist you.” The waiter didn’t say much more, giving a slight smile and gesturing for her to enter.

Nathalie walked inside boldly.

However, she didn’t head to the second floor or other halls on the first floor, instead heading straight to the C1 banquet hall where the birthday banquet was being held at noon.

*

Outside the C1 banquet hall.

Raymond Wilmar, Ivy Wilmar, and Myles Sullivan were all present.

Raymond Wilmar wore particularly festive clothing today, his red modified Tang costume looked jubilant on him, and his demeanor was much improved from recent times, showing the spiritedness often seen in those experiencing happy events.

Given his status and age, he didn’t need to greet guests, just standing there was enough.

As for the important guests, he definitely needed to personally entertain them.

But among Beijing’s elite circles, there are only a few families worthy of his personal attention, which can be counted on one hand.

Raymond wasn’t particularly busy today, as the task of hosting guests was managed mostly by Ivy and Myles.

”No one from the Yancey Family has arrived yet?”

Approaching noon, Raymond looked at the guests who had arrived so far, frowning slightly with some dissatisfaction.

”Only Zeus Tanzil from the Tanzil Family came? Mrs. Tanzil, Stephanie Tanzil didn’t come?”

Raymond holds his status high.

Coupled with the Wilmar Family’s great prominence when Mr. Wilmar was around.

His status is elevated, everyone is willing to give him face.

Raymond himself is used to a life of superiority, accustomed to being surrounded by many in daily life, everyone supporting him, so the current situation clearly displeased him.
