The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1664: Chapter 1664: There’s Someone Behind This

Amadeus Yancey let out a light chuckle from his throat, as if he had already expected it, and gave a noncommittal response: ”There’s someone else behind this.”

Rare earth is not an ordinary resource.

The Yancey Family’s power is not in Inderia, but they have always had rare earth shipments supplying transactions in Inderia, considered part of the Yancey Family’s underground forces.

This portion of the business has always been managed by Mr. Yancey, with the help of several of the Yancey Family’s collateral relatives.

Amadeus Yancey usually didn’t manage this matter.

Now the Yancey Family is scrambling to investigate the hijacked shipments, but they can’t investigate as quickly as Amadeus Yancey, who within a few short days has already found some of the shipments with the help of others.

But there is still no news on the remaining shipments and people.

”I also suspect there’s someone behind this... but each one of them keeps their mouths shut tight. I suspect they’re all idiots being used as tools! They have no idea about the identities of those manipulating them. This is the real trouble; it’s like the clues we painstakingly found have broken off again.” Vincent Moore furrowed his brow deeply, extremely agitated.

Amadeus Yancey crossed his legs, rested his hand on his leg, and his fingers tapped irregularly. He gave a hmm but did not speak immediately, seemingly deep in thought.

Vincent Moore didn’t dare disturb him and closed his mouth, taking a sip of tea.

Alfred Garland brewed him some concentrated green tea, which tasted slightly astringent at first, but once it slid down the throat, it left a sweet aftertaste.

Vincent Moore hadn’t drunk tea from his hometown in a long time, and his brow slowly relaxed. Seeing that Amadeus Yancey was still pondering, he put down his cup and said, ”Amadeus, why don’t we check with the Red Alliance? They’re good at tracking. As long as we find where Ian Edbert is, we can retrieve the remaining shipments.”

”The Red Alliance is busy lately.” The man’s voice was clear and shallow.

Vincent Moore was bewildered: ”How do you know the Red Alliance is busy?”

Amadeus Yancey glanced at him and said calmly, ”I just know.”

”The Red Alliance won’t be available for the next half month, and I don’t want to get them involved in this matter.”

Vincent Moore: ”...”

His eyelids twitched a few times, and Scarface was full of confusion, wanting to say, Amadeus, why do you sound like we’re in-laws with the Red Alliance, even protecting them?

But he felt that this thought of his was somewhat twisted.

Rumor had it the leader of the Red Alliance, Sun, was a man, a middle-aged one in his forties. Comparing him with Amadeus... Vincent Moore glanced once more at the noble and lazy young man not far away, feeling even more disturbed, ashamed by his previous bizarre thoughts.

”Since you can’t find out, I’ll head to Inderia tomorrow.” Amadeus Yancey didn’t know what he was thinking about and gave concise instructions.

Vincent Moore immediately responded: ”Alright.”

”I’ll inform the others and have them prepare.”

...

Vincent Moore had come back from Inderia these days specifically because of the Yancey shipments being hijacked. After discussing Inderia matters with Amadeus Yancey, he hurriedly left to arrange for Amadeus Yancey’s trip to Inderia.

Lately, Inderia has been quite bustling.

Powers from all over will gather in Inderia, and there will even be several banquets.

In times like these, when there are many people with mixed intentions, he must be extremely careful and make sure Amadeus’s trip to Inderia is properly arranged.

Alfred Garland saw him out.

Vincent Moore had already reached the elevator doors and pressed the button.

He couldn’t resist asking Alfred Garland, out of curiosity about the girl he’d seen in the Rhine earlier: ”Is that Ms. Quinlan Amadeus’s girlfriend?”
