The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 257: Chapter 257: Nathalie threw her phone in front of her, take it_1

Olivia Barness and her group, who were unaware of what had happened, also joined in the commotion.

”Yeah, Ghania, don’t be too kind. No matter what happened, she shouldn’t have resorted to hitting someone.”

”Exactly, I think we can call the police. Jane reported the incident back then, so why can’t we call the police now!”

Ghania Quinlan wished she could shut their mouths.

Her heart was extremely agitated; Caryn’s brows furrowed, and those unaware of the situation thought her expression was one of reluctance, but in reality, she was just feeling guilty and uncertain herself.

Call the police, if she weren’t being blackmailed with evidence, she would want to call the police too.

The problem was, Nathalie Quinlan had just cornered her in the restroom and brought up the matter of the award-winning song.

That song, she had given it to Nathalie to ”modify” it for her. It had been so long, and although she didn’t believe Nathalie still had ’evidence’, it was always better to be careful.

Having realized this, Ghania still wanted to stick to her own attitude.

No police.

Who would have known, at this moment, the door to their private room was suddenly pushed open from the outside with great force.

The girl who walked in had a face so exquisite and delicate that one could find no faults; her beauty was striking and dimensional, her skin so fair that under the light one could see the fine fuzz on her surface. Her face was unadorned with makeup, yet she was brazenly, breathtakingly beautiful.

With such a look, she should have been delicate and cute, but the wild defiance in those dark eyes suggested a lawlessness that made people ironically think of the word ”bandit.”

Nathalie Quinlan!

The Quinlan family members turned green when they saw her enter.

Cindy Lawrence was so angry she rolled her eyes on the spot.

Jeff Quinlan’s face color wasn’t good either.

And Emilia Sullivan’s reaction was even worse, her thin eyebrows raised sharply, her whole body exuding sharpness: ”Nathalie Quinlan, how dare you come!”

It seems she’s come here today determined to shame herself right on top of my head!

Emilia Sullivan’s delicately made-up face twisted fiercely. She unconsciously tightened her grip on Ghania’s hand, causing Ghania pain, but she didn’t even realize it.

”Nathalie, did you hit Ghania?”

”What gives you the right to hit her?”

”I’m telling you, if you don’t come up with a convincing reason today, I’m going to see your school’s principal, and I’m going to call the police...”

She thought that by bringing up the word ”police,” the brash intruder would be scared.

But, to her surprise, the fierce-looking girl flicked her phone at her, ”Fine, here’s the phone, go ahead and call.”

”...” Emilia Sullivan had a belly full of words to say, but they got stifled by Nathalie’s ”come on, make the phone call.” She was looking at Nathalie as if she was looking at a lunatic, her tone both anxious and forceful: ”Nathalie, don’t think just because your biological father knows a few people in Beijing and can invite a few guests over that you can act above the law. This is McKinney, and if you don’t apologize to Ghania today, I won’t let this go even if it involves the whole Quinlan family!”

Zayn Fisher, with an expression of coldness and discontent, ignored his mother’s attempt to stop him and forcefully demanded, ”Nathalie, apologize to Ghania!”

His tone sounded like a boyfriend commanding his girlfriend.

It was also a bit like a father issuing an order to his son.

This caused Nathalie Quinlan to raise an eyebrow, her dark pupils shifting towards him with untamed defiance.

”What, did trash turn into a spirit?”

Her lips were moist and red, her voice was somewhat hoarse, and her tone was slow as she turned an insult into a rhetorical question.

Zayn Fisher’s face darkened.

He was about to speak.

Nathalie Quinlan couldn’t be bothered with him, she jerked her chin upward, and nonchalantly looked at Emilia Sullivan, ”I did hit her, and I was the one who slapped her. Are you calling the police or not? If not, then it’s my turn!”
