The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 254: Chapter 254: Found Evidence of Ghania Quinlan【Revised】_1

Ghania Quinlan didn’t seem to have jumped over the wall either; at most, she was a bit agitated.

It’s not so easy to drive Ghania Quinlan to a dead end!

She was pondering this matter.

Suddenly, a new message popped up in the chat box.

[playfuldiana: Boss, found it!]

[playfuldiana: It’s actually on Heavenly Eye! Some lens accidentally captured what you wanted. Wait a moment, I’ll edit and send it to you.]

Captured it?

Nathalie Quinlan was somewhat surprised.

Ding.

Two minutes later, another message came in.

[playfuldiana: Done, I’ve sent it to you. Have a look.]

Nathalie Quinlan saw a video come through in the chat box, the file wasn’t large, so it shouldn’t be very long.

She clicked on the play button of the video.

The video was unclear, the shooter wasn’t focusing on the staircase entrance but on an elderly person gripping the stair railing, trying hard to practice walking.

During this process, Nathalie Quinlan saw the lens shaking.

Apparently, it had captured the corridor above.

Ghania Quinlan’s face flashed by.

She also saw Lily.

She clicked pause and zoomed in on the person in the video, and even though the image was blurry, it was clearly Ghania Quinlan.

Nathalie Quinlan pursed the corners of her lips.

Her eyes turned cold, exuding a chilling gleam.

She gently tapped to resume playback.

She then saw the person in the video start moving again.

She saw Ghania Quinlan pulling the little one to go somewhere, and despite the little one’s attempts to shake off her hand, it was useless. In a moment of dispute, the little one seemed to get annoyed, lowered her head as if to bite her, and then Nathalie Quinlan saw her fiercely let go of the hand, causing Lily to misstep and roll down the stairs...

”Ah!”

She couldn’t see how Edric Yancey fell, but she could hear Lily’s pained grunts in the video, followed by Ghania Quinlan’s flustered voice.

”Hey, are you okay?”

”Get up quickly, I know you’re fine. Don’t pretend with me.”

”You get up, I’ll help you.”

”Get away, don’t touch me, I want sister, you go away.”

”Will you stop that? Get up quickly, you were always just a little... lame... kid, falling down is no big deal.”

Since the video wasn’t aimed at Ghania and Edric, they were only incidentally caught on camera, so Ghania Quinlan’s words were a bit muffled.

But still, Nathalie Quinlan distinctly heard those three softly spoken words.

Lame kid!

Nathalie Quinlan felt as if someone had lit a fire in her throat, her dark eyes turned ominously somber, and she remembered the day Edric Yancey held onto her hand, crying his heart out, telling her not to bother with him because he was already a lame kid.

So that was because someone had said that to him!

Her hand gripped the phone tightly until her knuckles turned white.

And then the video abruptly ended.

Nathalie Quinlan suddenly straightened up, the corners of her eyes tinged with a hint of red, her lips pressed into a straight line, and without a word, she headed toward the booth where Ghania and the others were—

...

”Why did you take so long? Ghania, what happened to your face?”

On the other side, Ghania Quinlan had just composed herself, barely managing to cover the marks on her face with foundation, washed her hands, and returned to the booth with an uneasy mind.

As soon as she walked in, Emilia Sullivan noticed the slight swelling on her face and abruptly stood up from her seat.

”Who did this?”

Ghania Quinlan immediately covered her face, somewhat embarrassed, unwilling for others to notice her face: ”... Nobody did this, I accidentally bumped into something.”

She wasn’t trying to cover up for Nathalie Quinlan, but because she had already been embarrassed enough that day, and after Nathalie Quinlan’s mocking mention of the award-winning song before she left... she was even less sure... at least for now, she didn’t want to provoke Nathalie Quinlan.
