Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 121: Chapter 74: Attempts to Break Free from Limitations_4

This special marked location should be the origin of Dusk, the site of the replica of the Kleitka Supercomputer.

Chen Ming believes this because he knows that the main force of Dusk is not in this Edge Star Realm.

During the first AI war, when Dusk awakened and rebelled, they didn’t leave the Empire from this direction of the Empire.

The outbreak of the second AI war in history occurred even further at the other end of the Empire.

The Dusk here is just a small part developed at a terrifying speed after Dusk awakened and separated independently, circling around to interfere with the Empire’s expansion.

The true position of Dusk’s main force now is approximately two Milky Way Galaxies away from Chen Ming’s location.

Therefore, the prototype of Kleitka couldn’t possibly be at the location given by Gamma A; at most, only a replica remains here.

Otherwise, it doesn’t explain why this small part of Dusk separated in the Edge Star Realm has been in friction with the Empire for so long, clearly causing numerous losses yet showing no decrease in numbers.

It’s impossible to say that Dusk deliberately produced some Gamma Level Dusk entities and then went through great efforts to circle around the Empire’s territory and deliver them here.

That’s nonsensical.

Even if there is a Star Gate for transportation, the transportation distance is far enough.

But there are restrictions on using the Star Gate, and it can’t be said to be used arbitrarily for some low-level Dusk entities.

So having a replica of Kleitka here is actually a reasonable speculation by Chen Ming; he can’t think of any other ideas for now.

In any case, let’s assume so for now; the truth should be almost correct.

At this moment, a thought suddenly popped into Chen Ming’s mind.

If he could control that Kleitka...

Chen Ming shook his head, dispelling unrealistic thoughts from his mind.

Even if Kleitka is a replica, the Dusk Colony hosting it would definitely have massive armed protection just like critical government departments of the Human Empire.

Invading is certainly difficult, and moving the supercomputer onto a spaceship under extensive protection is even harder.

A Refraction Level Destroyer isn’t qualified enough.

Only by possessing enough strength can one attempt to approach, such as with a Cruiser.

But for Chen Ming now, that’s somewhat distant.

Better to focus earnestly on the current work.

Through the panel, the spaceship modification was quickly completed.

One last step remains for Chen Ming to do personally.

Remove Gamma B from the Dawn Level and install it inside the Warrior modification.

With Chen Ming informing in advance, Gamma B didn’t oppose, and opposing was useless.

Chen Ming, as he did before, cut open the Dawn Level armor and removed the core of Gamma B.

However, Chen Ming didn’t immediately proceed with the installation.

Instead, he looked at his panel situation.

[AI Assistance Connect Spaceship: None]

This line unsurprisingly turned to none, but an additional line appeared beneath it.

[Controlled AI Entity: Dusk Gamma Level AI Core (Gamma B)]

Initially, Chen Ming planned to remove Gamma B, reinstall it immediately, and inquire about its condition during the removal process.

After all, as long as the AI core was installed on the spaceship, it had to follow Chen Ming’s instructions, answer questions honestly, and wouldn’t lie.

Chen Ming wanted to find out if the AI core would still be controlled by him after being removed from the spaceship.

Originally, Chen Ming intended to ask, but now just looking at the panel seems to make asking unnecessary.

Although it’s good that the AI core remains under his control even after being dismantled, this actually makes him feel even stranger.

Chen Ming always feels that he can’t comprehend the capability of this panel.

Is it a spaceship control panel or something else? Completely unclear.

Just as this unresolved question was being suppressed, another question followed closely.

If he switches the brain control connection of the Refraction Level to another spaceship.

Will Gamma A, in the same situation as Gamma B, remain under his control?

And could he continue to indirectly control the Refraction Level through Gamma A, thus conserving slots?

This seems like something that can only be known by trying.

Chen Ming’s gaze turned to the Refraction Level, the place where the Gamma AI Core is installed.

He has past experience of dismantling Dusk Destroyers; dismantling again shouldn’t waste too much time.
