After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2239: Chapter 2243: Fight One Round First

”Dream on.” Xu Xia pushed him away, ”Hurry up and leave, I need to sleep.”

”Or maybe, let’s have a round before I go?” Leng Zirui joked as he hugged her with a cheeky smile. Xu Xia countered with an elbow to his chest, prompting him to nimbly jump away, ”Alright, I’m leaving. Be good and listen.”

Blowing her a kiss, Leng Zirui opened the door and turned to descend the stairs.

”Send someone to the nearby supermarket to buy some food, and also, protect her well. If she loses even a single hair, the consequences... you all know.”

After instructing a few subordinates to carefully protect Xu Xia, he took Ah Ke with him and left the villa.

This time, in order to accomplish a triple success and capture Luo Ke, Lei’s, and ROY’s former subordinates in one fell swoop, Leng Zirui specifically ordered Ah Ke to summon all of ROY’s elite subordinates from the United States to Rome. Now, Leng Zirui’s task was to arrange these people, and then meet with Lei Family Father and Daughter to resolve matters on that side as well.

...

...

The helicopter skimmed over the sea, entering the island’s airspace. The whirlwinds caused by the rotor blades pressed down on the island’s trees and flowers, and finally, it gradually descended, landing smoothly on the helipad.

Subordinates had already come forward to open the cabin door.

Leng Zimo removed his earmuffs and jumped off the helicopter first. Then, carefully, along with the island’s bodyguards, he helped Luo Xiaoqian down from the helicopter.

The bodyguards had received Luo Ke’s orders. As soon as Luo Xiaoqian and Leng Zimo disembarked from the helicopter, five or six bodyguards immediately began loading large bags and packages onto the aircraft.

These, of course, were the weapons Luo Ke wanted.

Moreover, over twenty of the thirty-something bodyguards were already prepared for action.

Tomorrow is Roselia’s funeral. Officially it’s a funeral, but in reality, it will be the ultimate PK between the two major underworld forces in Rome. Luo Ke, for the sake of his objectives, spared no expense in temporarily deploying the island’s manpower to Rome.

This time, it’s a battle of win or lose. He cannot afford to lose!

”Madam!”

The bodyguards politely greeted Luo Xiaoqian.

Luo Xiaoqian smiled and nodded at them, ”You don’t need to pay too much attention to me. Just do your jobs well.”

”Yes, Madam.” The head bodyguard nodded respectfully.

Two maids had already run out, supporting Luo Xiaoqian by the arms, not forgetting to greet Leng Zimo. As the maids helped Luo Xiaoqian into the living room, Leng Zimo leisurely followed the three towards the steps, subtly observing the bodyguards outside the villa.

Currently, there were twenty-five bodyguards gathered outside. In total, there were over thirty people on the island. Apart from the maids, there were no more than six bodyguards left, making the current situation very advantageous for him.

Entering the living room, Leng Zimo casually walked over to the sofa by the window and sat down, pretending to adjust his shoelaces while his eyes remained fixed on the commotion outside.

The bodyguards loaded the necessary supplies onto the helicopter, and a few of them also boarded it. Moments later, the helicopter had lifted off again, leaving the island. Subsequently, the remaining bodyguards boarded boats and left the dock.

In one swoop, all of the island’s modes of transport had departed.

This was naturally also Luo Ke’s arrangement. With his suspicious nature, leaving just a few bodyguards still made him uneasy. He specifically ordered his subordinates not to leave a single boat, in order to prevent any possibility of Luo Xiaoqian escaping.

Luo Ke was always like this, maintaining a sense of doubt towards everyone.

He trusted no one.
