After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2205: Chapter 2209: Still Haven’t Learned Your Lesson

The two stepped back to the side of the door, Xu Xia didn’t notice the steps beneath her feet, and as her foot slipped, she completely lost her balance.

She was already tense, and her hand holding the knife stiffened. The knife slipped from her grasp, somersaulted in the air, and then began to fall toward her face.

”Miss Xu!”

Shangguan Feng turned his face and watched her fall down the steps, only letting out an exclamation and reaching out to grab her, but ended up missing.

Xu Xia watched as the knife headed towards her face, and in panic, she only managed to close her eyes.

Behind her, a gust of wind suddenly approached.

The next moment, an arm was already reaching out, hooking her body, and then she fell forward, colliding into a solid chest.

A palm, rapidly darting out, grasped the handle of the knife before it could fall.

”Are you all right?”

A familiar voice came from above.

Xu Xia, still shaken, lifted her face, only to see Leng Zirui holding the utility knife, looking at Shangguan Feng on the steps.

”Young Master Shangguan wants to steal my woman?!”

”ROY, you should let her go too.” Shangguan Feng snapped out of his stupor, and seeing Leng Zirui holding Xu Xia, he immediately roared with anger, ”This is a society governed by law, don’t think you can do whatever you want...”

”A society governed by law?” Leng Zirui sneered, ”In a society governed by law, you think you can barge into someone’s room and take their woman?”

”I...” Shangguan Feng, not as sharp-tongued, was momentarily speechless, ”I was trying to help Xu...”

He had just said ”Xu” when, with a swishing sound, the utility knife Leng Zirui was holding had already heavily embedded itself into the door panel beside Shangguan Feng’s head. The blade was buried three inches deep in the wood, and the handle was still vibrating.

”Stay away from her!”

Leng Zirui spat out four words through clenched teeth.

At this moment, Ah Ke and the other subordinates had already rushed over, arriving by the side of the two.

Sparing a glance at Shangguan Feng, Leng Zirui held Xu Xia and strode away.

”Xu...”

Shangguan Feng still wanted to speak, but Ah Ke and a few others had already stepped up, with two subordinates drawing guns and pointing them at him and his assistant.

Shangguan Feng was helpless, only able to watch as Xu Xia got into the car held by Leng Zirui.

”Miss Xu, don’t worry, I will come to rescue you for sure!”

Facing the direction of the car, Shangguan Feng shouted loudly.

”Young Master Shangguan, if you don’t want to lose your life too quickly, it’s best not to covet ROY’s woman anymore!”

Ah Ke sneered coldly, getting into the car with his subordinates, quickly leaving Shangguan Feng’s villa.

The car moved forward, and Xu Xia lifted her face from Leng Zirui’s embrace, looking at her blood-stained fingers, merely frowning.

”What, hurt your feelings?” Leng Zirui took out a handkerchief, forcefully wiping clean the blood from her fingers, and directly threw the handkerchief out of the window, ”You think he genuinely cares about you, idiot, you were at the airport, and he just so happened to be there too. Then you got into trouble, and he rescued you; don’t you find these events too coincidental? Bringing people to the hotel to snatch someone, you dare to go with such a guy?!”

This foolish girl, she’s really driving him crazy!

The situation just now was so dangerous. If he had been a moment later, she surely would have been injured.

He had also looked into Shangguan Feng’s information, and while it seemed there was nothing particularly suspicious about him at the moment, considering his father deals with people like the Lei Family Father and Daughter, could he really be clean?

Hadn’t she learned her lesson from the last time with Tang Ming?!
