After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2222: Chapter 2226: Your Juice

What is this guy up to?

Clearly the juice is meant for Luo Xiaoqian, he...

Remembering Leng Zirui’s reminder, Leng Zimo felt a chill in his heart.

This bastard, could he be trying to do something to the juice?!

In a rush, Leng Zimo stepped towards the stairs.

Just then, Leng Zirui also strode in, quickly catching up to his side.

”What’s wrong?”

”Luo Ke took the juice.” Leng Zimo gestured with his chin towards the second floor.

”You go back, I’ll take care of it.” Leng Zirui whispered to him, quickly heading downstairs, skipping the second floor and going straight to the door of Luo Xiaoqian’s room on the third floor. He knocked.

”Come in.” Inside, Luo Xiaoqian’s voice sounded a bit weak.

Leng Zirui pushed the door open and walked in, ”Sissi, it’s me. Are you okay?”

”Much better.” Luo Xiaoqian smiled at him, ”Where is Miss Xu?”

”Oh, she’s still by the lake. I was worried you’d get a headache hearing her voice, so I didn’t bring her over.” Leng Zirui said with a smile.

”It’s not her fault.” Luo Xiaoqian shook her head rapidly, ”It’s my personal reason, it has nothing to do with Xu Xia.”

Leng Zirui shrugged, ”Her singing is indeed a bit lousy.”

”Not at all, I think she’s quite good, really good...”

”Juice is here!” Luo Ke walked in carrying two glasses of juice. Seeing Leng Zirui additionally in the room, he paused slightly, ”ROY?”

”I came to check on Sissi, and to apologize to you.”

Leng Zirui’s gaze swept over the juice in his hand. The two glasses looked no different, except one had a straw and the other did not.

”No worries, I know you didn’t do it on purpose.” Luo Ke shrugged, ”Alright, go take care of Xu Xia, I’m here.”

”Actually...” Leng Zirui pretended to be in a difficult position, walked over to put an arm around Luo Ke’s shoulder, leading him to the terrace, ”Actually, I found someone very suspicious.”

”Who?” Luo Ke looked at him, somewhat puzzled.

”Sissi!” Leng Zirui gestured towards Luo Xiaoqian with his chin.

”Sissi?” Luo Ke turned his face to look at Luo Xiaoqian.

Seeing the opportunity, Leng Zirui lifted his hand to pinch the straw, switching it to the other glass.

”I don’t understand.” Luo Ke returned his gaze, ”What are you actually trying to say?”

”That song you should’ve heard, the one Xu Xia just sang, that’s the song Luo Xiaoqian wrote. Don’t you think it’s odd that she suddenly has a headache? I’m a bit worried...”

”You’re worried she remembered something?” Luo Ke cut in.

”Exactly, so I’m here just to remind you of this matter.” Leng Zirui spread his hands apologetically. ”Tomorrow morning I’ll promptly have Xu Xia leave, you’d best send her back to the island as soon as possible, just in case.”

”I understand.” Luo Ke nodded lightly, his tone confident and assured, ”Even if she does remember something, she won’t escape my grasp.”

”Good luck!” Leng Zirui patted him on the shoulder and casually took the glass without the straw from the tray Luo Ke was holding, striding out onto the terrace. He waved his hand at Luo Xiaoqian, ”Sissi, rest well, goodnight.”

”Goodnight!” Luo Xiaoqian replied politely.

Luo Ke looked down at the juice on the tray, seeing the glass with the straw still in his hand, and finally breathed a sigh of relief. Smiling, he walked back, set the tray on the table, and handed the juice to Luo Xiaoqian, ”Then... here’s your juice.”

...

Goodnight
