After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2215: Chapter 2219: Is It...Luo Ke?!

”Sissi, I’m sorry!” Luo Ke gasped for breath, once again walking up to her, ”I shouldn’t have lost my temper at you. I just... I just love you too much. Why can’t you try with me? We have always been harmonious before, you said so. You like me, no matter my personality or my body. I would make you very happy...”

Bowing his head, he drew closer to her face. Luo Ke raised his palm, held her hand, and placed it against his chest.

”Can you feel it? No woman has ever made me lose control like this, Sissi... I will be careful, I promise...”

”If you really care about me, don’t force me to do anything I don’t want to do.” Luo Xiaoqian withdrew her hand from his grasp, quickly opened the door, and ran out.

Bang!

Luo Ke’s fist struck the wall heavily.

In a panic, Luo Xiaoqian hurriedly headed downstairs, her destination naturally being the kitchen.

At this moment, the person she trusted most in this big house was Leng Zimo.

Leng Zimo was in the kitchen preparing snacks for her afternoon tea. Upon hearing footsteps, he turned his face and with just one glance, he could see her emotions were off.

”Xiao Qian, what’s wrong?”

He approached, raised his hand to support her arm.

”Zimo.”

Seeing him, Luo Xiaoqian felt even more aggrieved, only calling out his name before falling into his arms.

Leng Zimo embraced her and comfortingly stroked her long hair.

”Is it... Luo Ke?!”

There was a trace of murderous intent spreading in his voice.

”No...” Luo Xiaoqian feared he might act impulsively, hurriedly raising her face from his embrace and smiling at him, ”It’s just... I had a nightmare just now, feeling a bit scared.”

”Silly girl.” Leng Zimo comfortingly straightened her long hair, ”Don’t worry, dreams are always opposite. Nothing will happen. In one or two days, I’ll be able to take you away from here.”

One or two days?!

Alright, she’ll just endure a bit longer.

Luo Xiaoqian suppressed the displeasure in her heart, looked at his workstation, ”What are you making, cookies?”

”Yes, cookies.” Leng Zimo took the greased paper with the cookie mixture already prepared. ”Do you want to try? It’s very simple. Watch, just like this, a gentle squeeze...”

He carefully demonstrated, gently squeezing out a beautiful cookie onto the oven tray.

Then, he smiled and handed the greased paper to her, ”Your turn!”

Luo Xiaoqian took the paper and imitated his actions. At first, she didn’t use enough force, failing to squeeze anything out. Then, she increased the pressure, squeezing too much at once.

”I’m so clumsy!”

”It’s okay, you can also use it to write, like... numbers.”

”Yes, I’ll try it, 1, 2... this is simple, haha, it’s fun...”

... ℴ

The two people were making cookies in the kitchen. Luo Ke had also come downstairs, watching them through the small window on the kitchen door, seeing the happy faces of both. His gaze fell on Luo Xiaoqian’s smiling face, his fist clenched tighter.

She could smile so happily with a stranger. Despite how good and indulgent he was to her, this was how she responded.

”Sissi, you really disappoint me!” He turned his face, walked upstairs with a cold expression, ”Send the doctor to my room.”

A moment later, the doctor came upstairs, knocked on the door, and walked into his study.

Just then, Leng Zirui coaxed Xu Xia to sleep and exited the room, feeling curious. He quietly walked to the study’s door, side ear to listen.
