After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2217: Chapter 2221: Spoiled Beyond Reason

”Tomorrow morning, take me away from her immediately,” Luo Ke ordered displeased.

”Don’t worry.”

Leng Zirui waved to him and walked out of the study.

Even if Luo Ke hadn’t ordered it, Leng Zirui wouldn’t want Xu Xia to stay in this den of danger.

After Leng Zirui left, Luo Ke reached for the box of medication on the table, hesitated several times, but finally took a piece and put it into his pocket.

Not long after Leng Zirui returned to the guest room, Xu Xia had already woken up. Because Leng Zirui had to figure out a way to communicate the plan he had thought of with Leng Zimo, he took her downstairs to the kitchen to find something to eat.

As a result, they saw Leng Zimo and Luo Xiaoqian taking the freshly baked cookies out of the oven.

”Xiao... Sissi, I didn’t expect you could make cookies!” Xu Xia immediately walked to Luo Xiaoqian’s side and initiated a conversation with her.

”I didn’t make them, it’s the chef’s skill, try one,” Luo Xiaoqian said with a smile, handing her a cookie.

Xu Xia took it to her mouth, took a bite, and immediately praised, ”It’s really good, sweet but not greasy, melts in your mouth.”

”He doesn’t understand English,” Luo Xiaoqian explained proactively for Leng Zimo.

”Really?” Xu Xia shrugged, giving a thumbs-up to Leng Zimo, her eyes resting on Leng Zimo’s face. She slightly raised her eyebrows, ”Hey... why do I feel you look familiar?”

Leng Zirui pulled her over, opened his mouth to eat the half cookie pinched between her fingers, then extended his tongue to lick off the crumbs on her finger, ”Don’t I look familiar too?”

”Disgusting!”

Feeling his tongue on her fingers, Xu Xia’s back hairs stood up, and she hurriedly withdrew her fingers from his hand to wash them at the side.

The maids also walked in one after another to start preparing dinner.

After washing her fingers, Xu Xia again came to Luo Xiaoqian’s side, ”Sissi, the scenery of this castle is quite nice, shall we go out for a walk?”

”Just in time, we’ll move the grill to the lakeside together,” Leng Zirui said casually, giving a look to Leng Zimo.

Thus, Xu Xia pulled Luo Xiaoqian towards the hall, the two men carried the grill together, and walked with them toward the lakeside.

”The scenery is indeed nice, but to tell you the truth, the castles in Provence are the most beautiful. I remember I have a friend who bought a castle by the river for his wife. The castle faces the river on one side and has a large lavender field on the other...” Xu Xia spoke while observing Luo Xiaoqian’s expression, ”My friend is quite a remarkable man; his name is Leng Zimo!”

Luo Xiaoqian was slightly surprised. So, Leng Zimo... bought a castle for her in Provence?

”And not only that, he also prepared a farm in the Beijing Suburb for her, raising horses and dogs. Do you know how many? Six dogs in total. That man spoils his wife to an outrageous degree. Sissi, don’t you think his wife is very fortunate?”

”Well, if I were her, I would certainly feel very fortunate.”

Luo Xiaoqian said with a smile because even just listening made her feel very happy.

She was smiling, but Xu Xia’s heart was filled with disappointment.

She really doesn’t remember any of this?!

”But these are nothing compared to more bizarre and romantic things. Do you want to hear them?”

”Of course, tell me everything you know. I’m very curious about the stories between Leng Zimo and his wife.”

She wanted to know all the past she couldn’t remember.

...

Good afternoon
