After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2212: Chapter 2216: Our Friendship

Xu Xia quickly swallowed her porridge and rushed to speak, ”I’m free!”

That Luo Xiaoqian would lose her memory was undoubtedly shocking news for Xu Xia. As a good friend, she was naturally very worried about Luo Xiaoqian’s current situation, especially about what Luo Ke might have said to her.

If that guy deceived Luo Xiaoqian with sweet words, what should she do?!

Now that Luo Xiaoqian actively invited her to stay, Xu Xia certainly wouldn’t pass up such an opportunity.

Impulsively, these words just slipped out of her mouth.

Leng Zirui, holding a spoon, spoke helplessly, ”Honey, you weren’t...”

This little troublemaker, she can’t be left unwatched even for a second before something happens.

”Then it’s settled, tonight we’ll have a barbecue by the lake. Miss Xu, you have a good rest, I’ll take a nap and come see you later.”

Luo Xiaoqian stated her plan with a smile and then bowed out, not giving anyone a chance to stop her.

The situation was set in stone, unable to be reversed. Luo Ke glanced meaningfully at Xu Xia and Leng Zirui, Xu Xia rolled her eyes in return, while Leng Zirui shrugged his shoulders to show his innocence.

Luo Ke furrowed his brows and left the room. Leng Zimo handed over the remaining half bowl of porridge, and as Leng Zirui took the bowl, the brothers quickly exchanged a glance.

”If there’s nothing else, I’ll head back to the kitchen.”

”Okay.” Leng Zirui nodded, ”If anything comes up, I’ll look for you.”

After Leng Zimo left the guest room, Leng Zirui continued to feed the porridge to Xu Xia, ”You shouldn’t have stayed, it’s too dangerous.”

Xu Xia slightly raised her face to look at him, ”Mr. ROY, are you worried about me?”

Undercover Mr., is your fox tail showing a bit too obviously?!

”You’re my woman, I naturally have to care for you.” Leng Zirui said with a smile.

”As far as I know, I’m not ’your woman’ yet!” Xu Xia deliberately emphasized the words ”your woman.”

He took a napkin and wiped a bit of porridge off the corner of her mouth, casually placed the bowl aside, then reached out and pinched her chin, ”Well... how about we elevate our friendship from upper-body to lower-body?”

In your dreams!

”Don’t you dare!” Xu Xia shoved at his hand.

”Why wouldn’t I dare?” With her level of skill, what chance did she have against him? In a few swift moves, Leng Zirui had already made a solo break-through, his hand reaching into her blouse.

”ROY!” Xu Xia yelled in panic, ”If you touch me, I’ll never forgive you for the rest of my life!”

Leng Zirui’s hand, which had reached her ribs, froze and retreated just before conquering the high ground, still finding excuses for himself.

”Your face is as pale as a ghost, I’m not interested in you right now. Get some good sleep, recharge, and at night I’ll be sure to pamper you.”

Xu Xia pushed his hand away, escaped from his embrace, already chuckling inside.

Jerk, I knew you wouldn’t dare get serious!

Humph!

I won’t let you play with me easily; if I don’t starve you for three months, I won’t be called Xu.

Leng Zirui stood up, grabbed her directly and tossed her onto the pillow, then pulled over a thin blanket to cover her, ”Get some good rest for a while, tonight you’ll have the energy to serve me!”

Xu Xia rolled her eyes.

Seeing her expression, knowing that her stomach ache was likely mostly gone, Leng Zirui felt reassured.

”Ah Ke!” Outside the door, Ah Ke immediately led his men inside, ”Make sure she stays put, she is not to leave the bed before I return.”
