Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 915: Chapter 448: Adults Make Choices, Children Want Everything (Second Update)

Kenneth Osborne smiled, his phoenix eyes flashed lightly, his voice lowered a bit, ”Miss Caitlin Gilbert is too polite, we are just ordinary friends.”

...

In the second-floor private room, Ruby Sheldon stood by the window, watching this scene clearly, including Kenneth Osborne going down to deliver food to Lawrence Winters, Caitlin Gilbert rushing to argue, then Kenneth Osborne turning away and Caitlin Gilbert chasing after him.

She leaned against the window frame, thoughtfully saying, ”...Mommy, that Kenneth Osborne is here too. Didn’t he divorce Lawrence Winters? Why is he still bringing her food?”

Autumn Stetford felt disgusted upon hearing Lawrence Winters’ name.

She hadn’t eaten either and walked over with a glass of red wine, standing beside Ruby Sheldon, saying, ”How did he get in? Who brought him in?”

”Sister Caitlin Gilbert.” Ruby Sheldon pouted, with a bit of jealousy, ”She seems to really like Kenneth Osborne.”

Autumn Stetford glanced at her, her heart stirred, and she smiled, ”And what about our Betty? Does Betty like him?”

When it comes to things she likes, Ruby Sheldon has a habit of ”collecting them all.”

For example, if she likes a style of bag or clothing, she gets it in every color, never having ”indecisiveness,” nor needing to.

Regarding men she likes, she has a bit of ”collecting them all” too, but she knows it’s not right, so she doesn’t dare say it out loud, just curling her lips into a slight smile, whispering, ”So what if I like him? He doesn’t even pay attention to me...”

”Whether he pays attention to you or not doesn’t matter. As long as you like him, your father will surely help you.” Autumn Stetford continued to persuade with a smile.

Ruby Sheldon’s eyes lit up.

Yeah!

Even if Kenneth Osborne ignores her, with her father stepping in, who would dare not give her face?

Besides, she’s not married yet. Having a few more boyfriends to get to know isn’t a bad thing to figure out who she should marry, is it?

Thinking of this, she immediately went back, sat beside Aiden Sheldon, and shook his arm, ”Dad, are you familiar with Kenneth Osborne? Can you invite him to our private room to watch the competition? I saw him arguing with Caitlin Gilbert next door...”

Spring Spencer and Ava Harlow heard and both looked up at her simultaneously.

Aiden Sheldon glanced at her, ”Really? He’s here too?”

”Yes, I just saw him. Daddy, please? Call him and ask him to come, he’ll surely come...”

”But I don’t have his contact information.” Aiden Sheldon politely refused Ruby Sheldon’s request.

Ruby Sheldon realized that too, her little face falling, ”Dad, you don’t have it either? I don’t have it either.”

Spring Spencer then smiled and said, ”I have Kenneth’s number, would you like it, uncle-in-law?”

”Yes, yes!” Ruby Sheldon’s eyes brightened, ”Cousin, how do you have his contact?”

”I collaborated with his company on a project.” Spring Spencer said modestly, ”Work-related.”

Saying this, she sent Kenneth Osborne’s phone number to Aiden Sheldon.

Ruby Sheldon leaned over, curiously saying, ”Cousin, send it to me too...”

Spring Spencer smiled slightly and also sent Kenneth Osborne’s contact to Ruby Sheldon.

Looking at the number, Ruby Sheldon quickly urged Aiden Sheldon, ”Dad, now that you have the number, call him quickly! I see he’s already at the theater entrance, what if he leaves?”

Autumn Stetford said coolly, ”If he steps outside the theater entrance, he shouldn’t expect to come back in today.”

”The Celestial Path Sect World Cup rules are that strict.”

”Then hurry up!” Ruby Sheldon was anxious.

Aiden Sheldon had no choice being pushed by her, affectionately patting her head, ”Okay, I’ll call.”

...

On Kenneth Osborne’s side, just as he was about to bid goodbye, his phone suddenly rang.

He glanced at the number, finding it somewhat unfamiliar, but at this moment, any call would be a good escape.

He immediately answered the phone and said, ”Hello”.

The person on the other end paused for a moment, then said, ”Is this Mr. Kenneth Osborne? I’m Aiden Sheldon.”

Kenneth Osborne’s pupils shrank sharply.

Did he hear right?

Aiden Sheldon?!

The Wealthiest man, Aiden Sheldon, ranked first on the national rich list?!

Calling him?

Although he and Aiden Sheldon weren’t completely unrelated, it was such a superficial acquaintance, he never thought Aiden would actively call him.

Kenneth Osborne’s heart was racing, but he maintained a calm demeanor on the surface, ”Hello, Mr. Sheldon, I just saw you in the box, sorry for the intrusion, so I didn’t greet you.”

”Hmm, it’s okay. There’s something I’d like to ask you, I’m wondering if you have time to come over to my box to chat.” Then nonchalantly added, ”There’s still the afternoon competition, it’s a pity to leave now.”
