Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 151: Chapter 94: Blind Student, You Spotted the Key Point! (Second Update)

Blake Leaf held the DNA results, examining them over and over for quite a while, then sent a WeChat message to Tri-billion Sister.

[Blake Leaf]: I owe your roommate a thank you. She was right; my parents might already be deceased.

[Blake Leaf]: Sue Changfeng is my sister, not my mother.

On the other side, Tri-billion Sister almost fell off the top bunk upon seeing these two messages.

She grabbed the bed rail, breaking into a cold sweat.

After a moment, she replied to Blake Leaf: Did you ask her about your parents?

Blake Leaf simply responded: Considering it.

And there was no further news.

Tri-billion Sister didn’t go to her intern company today and stayed in the dorm to sleep in.

Lawrence Winters didn’t go out either.

She was the most free person in the dorm.

Still went for a run every morning but would come back to continue sleeping afterward.

Slept until noon, got up for lunch, then browsed Weibo, read books, and watched dramas.

When it was dinner time, she continued browsing Weibo, reading books, and watching dramas.

Tri-billion Sister looked at her phone, then after a while, said to Lawrence Winters, ”Sister Lawrence, you’re amazing. That woman Blake Leaf found named Sue Changfeng turned out not to be his mother, but his sister.”

Lawrence Winters had previously heard Tri-billion Sister talk about Sue Changfeng and raised her head in surprise, saying, ”She’s actually his sister? His biological sister?”

”Seems so. Blake Leaf apparently went for a DNA test.” Tri-billion Sister sighed, jumping down from the top bunk, ”His sister is really wealthy.”

Lawrence Winters was still thinking about Sue Changfeng, puzzled, ”Then his sister’s more than twenty years older than him... she could easily be his mother.”

Tri-billion Sister nodded, quickly remembering another matter, ”Since he has a biological sister, why was he abandoned at his adoptive parents’ doorstep?”

Lawrence Winters laughed, complimenting her, ”Blind one, you’ve discovered the plot!”

”Stop being silly!” Tri-billion Sister raised her hand, pinching her adorable peachy face, ”That’s the truth Blake Leaf is seeking, how would I know the answer?”

Lawrence Winters pushed Tri-billion Sister’s hand away, rubbed her face, and casually said, ”Why does everyone love pinching my face?”

”Oh? Who else loves pinching your face, then?” Tri-billion Sister squinted at her, ”Watson, you’ve found a blind spot too!”

Lawrence Winters instinctively thought of Kenneth Osborne.

Since he blocked her, they hadn’t been in contact for quite some time.

When she ran in the mornings now, she no longer searched for Kenneth Osborne’s figure.

She sighed, flipped over in bed, closed her eyes, and said, ”I’m going to sleep some more. Remember to close the door when you leave.”

”Got it.” Tri-billion Sister nodded, heading to the bathroom to freshen up.

...

Currently, Blake Leaf walked out of the assessment office, wandering aimlessly through C City streets for a while before finding a bubble tea shop to sit down in.

Ordering a bubble tea, he found Ride Wind Commercial Properties Ltd.’s public phone number online, and then called them.

The receptionist at the other end initially refused to transfer him to Sue Changfeng’s CEO office.

Later, he proactively said, ”I’m the student from Yanshan University’s journalism department who came to your company to recognize family ties with your CEO. Go ahead and ask your CEO if they want to speak with me.”

The person answering the call was indeed the receptionist from that day.

She was almost scared to death.

Recently, rumors in the company were flying about whether the CEO had a child in her youth.

Looking at the age alignment, it indeed matched, but neither the CEO nor her husband, General Manager Jiang, made any statements, neither acknowledging nor denying it. In fact, the relationship between the CEO and General Manager Jiang had only gotten better.

In this situation, the receptionist dared not make the decision to hang up the phone on her own.

Utterly helpless, she went to find Secretary Liu in the CEO’s office.

”Secretary Liu, that... um... student from Yanshan University’s journalism department called again, asking to speak with CEO Sue.”

Secretary Liu also wasn’t sure what the exact relationship between this person and Sue Changfeng was.

Judging by Sue Changfeng’s behavior that day, Secretary Liu didn’t believe they had no relation at all...

Thinking it over again and again, he still knocked on Sue Changfeng’s office door, quietly asking, ”CEO Sue, the student from Yanshan University’s journalism department who came to recognize family ties called again, asking to speak with you.”

Sue Changfeng didn’t show any specific emotion but smiled, looking up, saying, ”Alright, transfer the call.”

”Huh? You’re really taking the call?” Secretary Liu said with surprise, sweat forming in beads on his forehead.

”I’ll take it.” Sue Changfeng smiled and nodded, ”He’s not an outsider. He’s my brother, but he was adopted by another family when he was young.”

”So he’s a younger brother...” Secretary Liu breathed a sigh of relief.
