Chapter 1649: Chapter 1650: An Jing is Kidnapped

Ah Hong and A Yi had already covered their mouths and noses. As soon as they saw An Jing and the others faint, they stepped forward. While abducting An Jing, they sliced the necks of the four guards, who immediately died.

If An Jing did not return, someone from the mansion would definitely come searching. Therefore, they could no longer stay at the Fushou Inn. As soon as they kidnapped An Jing, Ah Hong and A Yi took her and left the Fushou Inn.

Mansion of Xiyun.

Three beautiful babies were tired from playing and wanted to sleep. Tobanya placed the three babies in the cradle and gently rocked it. Once the three babies were asleep, Tobanya tiptoed out of the room.

As soon as she closed the room door, Tobanya asked Qin Er, who had just arrived on patrol, ”Where is the Queen, why hasn’t she returned yet?”

Qin Er replied, ”In response to the Commandery Princess, when I was patrolling at the main gate earlier, I heard from the guard there that the Queen went to the Fushou Inn to pick up her two old acquaintances and should be back after some time.”

Tobanya frowned, ”Wu Xiaoshan and Shi Xiaolan were not at the main gate? Why did they go to the Fushou Inn?”

Qin Er said, ”According to the guards, Shi Xiaolan was not feeling well due to the journey, so Wu Xiaoshan took Shi Xiaolan back to the Fushou Inn to rest, and as the Queen saw no one at the main gate, she went to the inn to look for them.”

Tobanya asked again, ”Did the Queen have people with her?”

”She brought four guards.”

Hearing that An Jing had four guards with her, Tobanya felt somewhat relieved and stopped asking questions. She sat by the stone table in the courtyard. Since the three babies were asleep in the house, it was better not to go too far.

When Qin Er returned on patrol to the main courtyard, Tobanya couldn’t sit still any longer. She stood up and said, ”The Queen hasn’t come back yet, I’m worried. Take some people with you and come with me to take a look.”

Almost four hours had passed, and by rights, the person should have been back long ago. Qin Er was also worried. Hearing Tobanya’s words, he immediately obeyed, ”Yes, Commandery Princess!”

Tobanya instructed the few maidservants in the main courtyard to take good care of the three babies in the room, then she and Qin Er, along with two squads of guards, went to the Fushou Inn to look for them.

When they saw that the door of the Fushou Inn was closed, Tobanya’s heart skipped a beat. Qin Er was also startled, and everyone had a bad feeling, quickly rushing forward.

Without knocking, Qin Er directly kicked the door open and entered.

Inside, the scent of fainting smoke still lingered. As soon as Qin Er smelled it, he reminded everyone to cover their mouths and noses to avoid fainting from the smoke.

When Qin Er and Tobanya saw the four guards with slashed necks on the stairs, they were even more shocked and began searching the entire inn for traces of An Jing.

Not finding any trace of An Jing, Tobanya immediately commanded: ”Qin Er, you’re fast on a horse; quickly enter the palace and inform the King!”

”Yes!” Qin Er hurriedly rode into the palace.

”The rest of you, one to the South Gate, one to the North Gate, one to the West Gate, one to the East Gate, and tell each Gatekeeper General to close the city gates. No one is allowed to enter or leave,” Tobanya ordered the guards closest to her.

The guards hesitated, not daring to go. Tobanya was only a Commandery Princess and did not have the authority to seal the city.

Moreover, this was the Imperial Capital, the place where both a king and an emperor lived.

Seeing this situation, Tobanya immediately shouted, ”Whatever happens, I, the Commandery Princess, will take full responsibility! If you don’t go and let the villains take the Queen out of the Imperial Capital, the King will definitely take your lives!”

Upon hearing this, the guards finally rode off.
