Chapter 1581: Chapter 1582: Lost a Circle of Weight

The other three children also sobbed and said they didn’t want An Jing to be pregnant anymore.

An Jing cried and laughed at the same time, but was particularly touched: ”Once you are pregnant, you are pregnant, there’s no going back on it. Jing’er, Star, Qinger, Yun Er, you all be good, don’t cry, okay? If you cry, your mother will be in a bad mood and might end up throwing up even more.”

The four children immediately wiped their eyes with their small hands, afraid that their tears would upset their mother and make her vomit even worse.

An Jing felt very comforted.

Xiao Changyi first looked at An Jing with concern, then he said to the four children, ”Your mother worked this hard when she was pregnant with you all, so you must be filial to her in the future.”

The four children nodded heavily, ”Yes, we will be filial to Mother! We will also be filial to Father!”

Xiao Changyi and An Jing were both very comforted.

”Would you like to eat a little more?” Xiao Changyi softly asked the pale An Jing.

An Jing was very weak, but she nodded, ”Yes.”

For the sake of the child in her belly receiving adequate nutrition, even if eating made her vomit and feel particularly uncomfortable, she would still eat. As long as she ate, even if she vomited, the child in her belly would receive some nutrition.

Sour plums could somewhat relieve An Jing’s nausea, so when Xiao Changyi fed An Jing, he also fed her some sour plums.

An Jing’s severe morning sickness lasted for about twenty days, making her much thinner, which distressed Xiao Changyi and the children. Xiao Changyi and the four children also lost quite a bit of weight with her.

From the fifth of March onwards, An Jing’s morning sickness was no longer as severe, although she still experienced some.

Since An Jing no longer vomited everything she ate and only occasionally felt nauseated, Xiao Changyi thought of various ways to nourish An Jing, and the four children coaxed her to eat this or that.

There were some things An Jing didn’t really want to eat, but for the sake of the baby, she still ate them.

While An Jing still hadn’t gained back any weight, Liu Buli and Liu Feifei were finally getting married.

That day, March tenth.

An Jing and Xiao Changyi attended Liu Feifei and Liu Buli’s wedding.

The banquet had just started when An Jing began to feel nauseated, so Xiao Changyi took An Jing back to the mansion in Xiyun.

At noon the next day, Wang Youbao sent someone to inform An Jing and Xiao Changyi that Li Wuyu was already two months pregnant, and he also said that Su Chengyu had already granted her a leave to rest at home and take care of the pregnancy.

A couple of days later, Meng Lanqing came to tell An Jing and Xiao Changyi that Gong Juese was also pregnant, also two months along.

Finally, on March fifteenth, after persistent efforts by Xiao Changyi and the four children, An Jing had put on a bit of weight, and both Xiao Changyi and the children were very pleased.

An Jing herself was also very happy. If she wasn’t healthy, how could the baby in her belly be healthy?

”Jingjing, I’ve come to check your pulse again. You’ve been pregnant for over two months now, so I should be able to tell you how many you’re carrying today.” Before he arrived, Gong Juechen’s loud voice had already made its way in.

Upon hearing him, An Jing, who was drinking old hen soup, looked towards the door and saw Gong Juechen and Ye Zhi walking in hand in hand.

An Jing immediately laughed and said, ”Ye Zi, you’re not shy now. You’re holding hands just like me and my husband.”

Ye Zhi immediately huffed, ”If I were shy, I would have dealt with him long ago when he was everywhere saying I was his future wife.”
