Chapter 1580: Chapter 1581 Severe Morning Sickness

As the sun was about to set that day, An Jing and Xiao Changyi wanted Meng Zhuqing to do as before and send their four children to the palace, so they wouldn’t have to get up early tomorrow to go to school there.

But the four children were unwilling to go.

Moreover, the four children were even willing to get up early to go to the palace. They said they wanted to come home every day after school to see their mother An Jing, to live at home every day, to see their mother’s belly grow bit by bit, and to watch their little siblings being born.

Seeing how much the children wanted this, An Jing and Xiao Changyi agreed.

However, they worried that the children getting up early every day to go to the palace for school would be too tiring, so occasionally, An Jing and Xiao Changyi would go live in the palace for a period, so the children wouldn’t have to get up so early.

An Jing’s pregnancy was not only cherished by her husband, but even their four children doted on her, trying every way to make her happy, fearing any little bit of unhappiness.

Anyway, An Jing was nothing but happy.

Until one day, she started experiencing morning sickness symptoms, vomiting constantly, even when there was nothing left in her stomach to throw up.

It was unbearably uncomfortable.

She couldn’t eat anything; eating made her vomit. But for the sake of the child in her belly, she couldn’t stop eating.

During her first pregnancy, An Jing also experienced morning sickness, but it was very mild, unlike this time.

Seeing An Jing like this now truly frightened Xiao Changyi and the four children.

The four children gathered around An Jing, who was still retching uncontrollably, clutching at her clothes, tears streaming down their faces, afraid something might happen to their mother.

An Jing, retching, wanted to comfort the four children, telling them not to cry and that she was fine, but she had no time to comfort them, leaving the four children to cry by themselves.

Xiao Changyi had already called for the Imperial Physicians while An Jing was vomiting, and the four Imperial Physicians were standing by her side. Having seen this morning sickness symptom many times before, they didn’t find An Jing’s condition unusual.

Even though the Imperial Physicians said it was normal, Xiao Changyi was still worried and had someone fetch Gong Juechen.

Gong Juechen also said it was normal and added, ”I’ve seen morning sickness worse than Jingjing’s; it’s truly normal.”

Xiao Changyi was still not reassured, but he didn’t call any other doctor to see her; he just comforted his four children while taking care of An Jing who was still retching.

Only when An Jing stopped vomiting and rinsed her mouth did Xiao Changyi help her into the inner room.

An Jing’s body was weakened by the vomiting, and upon entering the inner room, she leaned almost her entire weight on Xiao Changyi. He simply lifted her horizontally and carried her into the inner room.

Then, he placed An Jing on the bed to rest.

The four children hurriedly followed into the inner room, their eyes red.

”You’re all scared, aren’t you?” An Jing looked at her husband and four children apologetically.

Xiao Changyi said nothing, just sat by the bed, intently gazing at An Jing.

The four children stood by the bed, no longer crying, but their eyes were still red.

They all looked at An Jing.

Even An Yiyun choked and asked, ”Mom, will you be okay? Yun Er doesn’t want anything to happen to you.”

”Silly child, Mom will be fine,” An Jing comforted softly, ”Didn’t you hear the Imperial Physician and your Uncle Chen say? It’s a normal reaction to pregnancy, don’t worry.”

An Yiyun whimpered more, ”Mom, having a baby is so tiring, Yun Er doesn’t want little siblings anymore, can you not have them? Yun Er doesn’t want you like this.”
