Chapter 1500: Chapter 1501 Flour Explosion

Xiao Changyi didn’t say anything, he just added some more vegetables to An Jing’s bowl.

An Jing finished one cake and wasn’t eating rice, but instead picked up another cake to eat. However, she noticed a little bit of white flour on the cake plate. She stared at that bit of flour for a long time without saying a word, and then exclaimed happily, ”Husband! Husband! Husband!”

She was truly excited.

Xiao Changyi’s cold lips slightly curved, and his cold eyes were full of indulgence: ”Have you thought of another good idea?”

”Yes, yes~” An Jing beamed, ”You are the one who understands me best~”

”You always do this.” He was already used to it. While saying this, Xiao Changyi added more vegetables to An Jing’s bowl, urging her to eat.

But An Jing couldn’t be bothered to eat as she excitedly said, ”It doesn’t matter if I always do this or not, as long as my ideas work. Husband, let me tell you, this flour, it can explode.”

Xiao Changyi was slightly stunned, ”It can explode?” He had used flour to make food for her and the children before and never saw it explode.

”Yes.” An Jing was very certain. ”The explosion I’m talking about is the phenomenon where flour particles encounter open flames and explode. It’s like during the production of flour, a large amount of very fine flour dust is produced. When these dust particles float in the air and reach a certain concentration, they will instantly ignite upon contact with open flames, creating a powerful explosion that is no less than a bomb.”

If it weren’t for the fact that developing gunpowder was so time-consuming and required so many materials, An Jing would have already developed gunpowder to siege the city.

Xiao Changyi remained silent, waiting for An Jing to finish speaking.

An Jing continued, ”If we scatter the flour into the Imperial City, with flour particles floating in the city, and then introduce an open flame, when it explodes, many enemy soldiers should be injured or killed.”

Only after An Jing finished did Xiao Changyi say, ”We don’t have that much flour.”

He hit the nail on the head with one sentence. An Jing loved Xiao Changyi’s straightforwardness. She laughed and said, ”Even though we don’t have that much flour, taking down one enemy soldier with the flour means one less enemy to deal with. In reality, there are too many enemies in that Imperial City, and they are all elite soldiers and generals. Even with our 500,000 strong army, we might not be able to defeat them.”

Xiao Changyi agreed, ”Makes sense.”

”Then you agree to use flour?”

”Yes.”

”Then I’ll have someone notify the kitchen now that flour is not to be used anymore, it has to be saved for the enemy.”

Saying this, without waiting for Xiao Changyi to respond, An Jing got up and instructed Qin Yi, who was waiting outside, to inform the kitchen.

When An Jing returned and sat back down opposite Xiao Changyi, she pondered, ”How can we scatter the flour in there? Should we also borrow the wind?”

”Also?” Xiao Changyi immediately caught the keyword. ”What do you mean someone borrowed the wind before?”

”In my previous world, there was a novel called ’Romance of the Three Kingdoms’ where someone borrowed the east wind to attack the enemy camp with fire. However, I don’t have a magical book of strategies, so I can’t summon wind and rain.” With the last sentence, An Jing was clearly poking fun at herself.

Xiao Changyi’s lips slightly curved, ”If you really want to use flour to attack, you can wait for the wind, or you can create wind yourself.”

”Create wind?”

Xiao Changyi rarely chuckled, ”Jing Er, did you forget there’s a wind blower here?”

An Jing immediately smiled too, ”It didn’t come to my mind for a moment, luckily you reminded me. However, we can get a few wind blowers, but maybe by the time we get them, a big wind will have already started.”

”Wouldn’t that be even better?”
