COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Certainly, Haruka cares about gossip.

But there were some things that she felt were not worth exploring any further, so she stopped there.

She doesn’t want to get in real trouble.

She still had her doubts. ’Even if Hikigaya-kun was voted out of school, it would be possible for Sakayanagi-san to get him some votes of appreciation.’

’Students from other classes have one appreciation ticket for students from other classes. That girl seems to be representative of Class B. It should be easy to get some votes. However, if she really gets votes, then Hikigaya-kun’s lover’s boat will definitely capsize.’

Haruka secretly glanced at Suzune.

Not wanting her friend to get into trouble, she thought she could ask the tutoring group to bring her votes of appreciation. She could offer some kind of sympathy.

“.....” Suzune who got votes for nothing.

”Um...” Yukimura raised his hand a little shyly, “Although my grades are good, my athletic ability is very low. I was ranked last in previous sports. So can you give me everyone’s votes of appreciation?”

In fact, since it has been confirmed everyone has chosen Yamauchi, the others are safe.

However, there are 3 seats available for casting bad votes.

Although Yukimura didn’t think that he would be criticized by everyone’s votes, he felt relieved to be able to get some votes of praise now.

”I have no objection.” Hachiman did not refuse.

”I can give my vote too.” Suzune had no objection.

Or rather, she, who didn’t understand people’s hearts well enough, didn’t really understand why Yukimura-kun, who was organizing the study, contributing to class, and was also a top student, needed to worry about being voted against!

’People can still vote negatively for top students like us? Unspeakable!’ Suzune was really dumbfounded, for even Karuizawa-san having that kind of power to kick her out.

”Okay, then I can also give you my vote of appreciation.” Sato also nodded.

”Then one ticket left. Can you give it to me?” Haruka finally said, ”I am also one of the last ten in sports. Although I get along well with others in class, there are definitely people who dislike me, so I hope you can give me the ticket.”

“Okay.” Yukimura had no objection.

“Okay.” Miyake didn’t object.

“Okay.” Hachiman agreed.

“My two votes are going to Hikigaya-kun, and Yukimura-kun. But, I can’t give you my last vote, since Kushida-san asked me to give it to her......”

“Really, I thought she could be the top candidate from our class?” Haruka found it incredible, she felt some gossip.

“Yeah, me too. So, I declined her request, and told her I will give it to Koenji-kun instead....Mmm, I don’t know why but she kind of glared at me.” Suzune was actually a bit puzzled, she didn’t do anything bad right?

“• •” Hachiman.

“???”

“Wait a minute—”

Oh my god.

Why wasn’t he mentioned? Student Ike finally felt that he was out of place in this group.

“Well...” Ike started, ”Can’t you give me the ticket? I’m dangerous too. Or rather, I’m super dangerous!”

“But are you a member of Yukimu’s tutoring group?” However, this time, Haruka said bluntly, “During the holidays, he took the initiative to let everyone study, but you kept making excuses not to come, didn’t you? So are you still a member of our group?”

“Well, at that time, I was hanging out with Hirata. It was Hirata who asked me to go out together, so it’s not that I didn’t want to study with you guys!” Ike said in a panic.

“So Hirata-kun was acting strange today. You didn’t go looking for him at all after class. Since you have a good relationship with Hirata-kun, aren’t you worried about him?” Haruka just continued to use a dark tone, “I think he is very scary.”

”This...” Ike knew that what he had just said was not genuine.

“But don’t worry,” Haruka at least had some kind of heart unlike Kiyopon, “I won’t vote against you. After all, we were in same group in the past.”

”Is that so?” Ike felt that he couldn’t get praise vote, but it seemed okay not to give him the criticism.

”Then it’s a deal.” Ike immediately ran to counter to pay for coffee for the tutoring group members, “Don’t vote for me!”

Everyone casts 1 vote of appreciation for the outside class.

You have the power to give 3 votes of praise and 3 votes of criticism in the class.

Although Yamauchi has been chosen now.

Then on Saturday, everyone voted for Yamauchi, who got 39 votes.

But if everyone also voted for Ike, so he also got 39 votes.

Then, he will be in trouble. So it would be safe for him to reduce even one vote.

As he was talking, Ike found that his cell phone was ringing.

Perhaps the other poor students had finally figured it out.

Everyone had 3 criticism tickets, and if also received 39 tickets, would get in trouble.

So they wanted to contact him and work together to vote for praise for each other and not vote for criticism, so he ran out immediately.

Akito Miyake, who had been watching Ike’s back, said, “So are we going to vote for him?”

“Definitely, we all should give him 1 criticism vote.” Haruka said casually.

Wow.

’Isn’t Haruka a bad girl? But what she did was correct,’ Hikigaya-kun approves of her.

Because how can a small team have cohesion?

Find someone in group who everyone dislikes and target him.

Then, in order to protect themselves, everyone will target this person, thus achieving unity.

The sacrifice she chose is classmate Ike, who everyone dislikes just as Yamauchi.

Perfectly done.

“So the votes of appreciation will be given to Hikigaya-kun, Yukimura-kun, and Hasebe-san.” Sato seemed to have received the message as well and was leaving.

She was confirming this matter.

Each person gets three votes of appreciation, just enough for three people.

This time, no one refused.

However, Ike’s proactive actions and Yukimura’s desire to canvass votes did attract Hachiman’s attention.

Because even though it was decided to go to mountains.

But you need to be careful when casting a critical vote, because there are a few students in class who are at bottom of the popularity list.

They are kind that most people would vote for.

For example, Yamauchi was voted 39, Ike was voted 39, and Sudo was voted 39.

Then exam has to be repeated, and even some problems may arise.

So, have to manipulate the list of classmates to choose from, so that if there is no result within limited time, everyone can randomly select a student to drop out.

But thinking of this, Hikigaya-kun suddenly thought of a bug. ’What if someone gives up the exam?’

’Once a student gives up the exam, it is likely to trigger a timeout, and then a student will be randomly expelled.’

’Students in my class... besides types like Yamauchi, there are also those like Hirata who are broken, and at the same time... there are also those who may be bribed.’

’So, it is indeed a bug. This patch needs to be submitted to Chabashira-sensei.’ Hikigaya-kun immediately thought of a way to remedy the situation.

While editing a message for Chabashira-sensei, he casually said, “Actually, you didn’t have to vote for me just now. Sato, you were a little nervous, you actually wanted to ask for the votes, right?”

Hachiman doesn’t think he is dangerous, so the appreciation votes can be given to those in need.

He felt that Sato was actually a little stressed and a little uneasy.

So this ticket should be given to her.

“Ah?” Sato, who had been looking at her phone and was about to leave to huddle with her “sisters” who were also worried about getting all the criticism votes, quickly sat down.

“Can you give it to me?” Sato felt like rubbing her cheek on his face, “But, Hikigaya-kun, will this have any effect on you?”

”I, I don’t think so.” However, it was Sakura who replied, ”Hikigaya-kun should be safe, because there are probably a lot of girls in class, and many of them will give him praise votes.....”

Girl found that everyone was looking at her after she said this.

”Because...well...” Sakura seemed a little embarrassed, “I think Hikigaya-kun is very popular among girls in the class right now.”

In other words, do girls actually vote based on how handsome a guy is?

Indeed, Hikigaya now wears green glasses frames.

It was given by Sakura-san, so it was indeed her credit.

If Sato wins praise votes of the group members and avoids the criticism votes, she won’t have to form a group with others.

So she was a little curious. ”Who does Sakura-san think will vote for Hikigaya-kun?”

“First of all, Horikita-san will definitely vote for him!” Yeah, Sakura was talking now.

’Yeah, I am out.’ Sato thinks it’s better to leave. ’In fact, Hikigaya-kun brought Horikita-san here today, which made me feel a little uncomfortable....’

Now, it’s really tormenting to listen to their love talk again. But now is not the best time to leave.

So, Sato had no choice but to stay.

“.....” Horikita-san remained silent, ’Why are you talking so excited, and usepressure on definitely?’

She had three appreciation votes and had just promised Yukimura to vote for one.

If Hikigaya-kun wanted, she would of course give it to him, but she didn’t think he would be in any danger.

Everyone tacitly accepted relationship between the two, so there was no objection.

But, very quickly.

“Actually, I think Karuizawa-san will also give Hikigaya-kun a vote of appreciation,” Sakura added fuel to her gossip.

“Wow! Is there any reason Airi?!” Haruka’s eyes started to get her sparkle back, is affair very big, and she doesn’t know it?

“Yeah, because one time when I went to the third floor, I, I saw Karuizawa-san helping Hikigaya-kun line up to buy food....” Sakura is always watching, you can’t escape her eyes.

There was indeed a time when Hachiman asked Karuizawa to queue up.

At that time, he was successfully promoted to Class A, and no longer needed to hide the fact that he also had a puppy like Sakayanagi.
