COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”I hope that everyone can graduate as Class A in the end. So, although it is shameless, everyone, can you walk with me to the end?”

”...”

The atmosphere in class seemed to stop instantly.

But it happened quickly.

Air suddenly stagnated, but then group erupted in warm cheers.

”Yoshooo!”

”Welcome bac----”

Everyone thought Ichinose wanted to drop out of school because she revealed her past, but now is willing to work hard with them.

How could you not be happy?

Yes, Ichinose did commit the crime of stealing, but she is kind enough, so why can’t she be given a chance to be forgiven?

They would all forgive her, and their biggest worry was that she wouldn’t be able to do herself.

Now that she had spoken of working together, was no doubt that all members of Class A would cheer.

It can be said that Ichinose’s black spots are not just black spots, but having such makes her more perfect.

This is a real person with flesh and blood.

And just now, it was really scary.

If you know that Ichinose has a past of stealing, it would be surprising at first, but what is more worrying is that she is going to drop out of school.

They don’t want to lose friends or companions.

Rather, if this school is a place of redemption for Ichinose-san, then hope she will stay there.

That senior student hurt her, so would murder her betrayer instead.

Other side.

”So, are you going to arrange for me to go out now?”

In Sakayanagi’s room.

Kamuro-san looks at her owner unhappily.

”Go ahead. Leak information about Ichinose-san to Hikigaya-kun.”

”But there’s no need to tell the other party about my dark history!” Kamuro-san was a little dissatisfied.

Because Ichinose’s dark history overlaps with hers to a certain extent.

So, this message Sakayanagi wants to convey to Hikigaya.

Can’t some things be sent directly through text messages? But Sakayanagi didn’t do that, instead she asked her to tell Hikigaya about her dark history similar to Ichinose’s.

Let Hikigaya save Ichinose.

”That means one of you plays the good cop and the other plays the bad cop. You participated in attack on Ichinose, but you arranged for Hikigaya to help, right?” Kamuro-san pouted in dissatisfaction.

”This is a simple strategy to win people’s hearts,” Sakayanagi was very cold today, ”You can’t win by simply being a good or bad person. You need to have both. Nagumo probably wants to defeat Ichinose-san, then pull her up again and become a so-called hero. Save a Damsel in distress....So, we have to capture Ichinose-san before he starts his heroic rescue.”

”If Ichinose-san can really stand up. And you played a key role in this, so my side will also be cleared. Then her class will definitely be grateful to us,” Sakayanagi was a terrific genius not to boot, ”These saints will also easily give us their votes for free.”

It’s you after all.

She was obviously so kind to Hikigaya, but so harsh to everyone else, not even wanting to pay them for canvassing for votes.

Kamuro-san was in a bad mood.

So she prepared to find Hikigaya to leak information about Ichinose, and then... her own secrets.

After Ichinose self-destructed, she left boy’s dorm.

In fact, it was her classmates who wanted to see her.

Can understand that.

Although everyone was happy that Ichinose was willing to stay, they were also worried that she might change her mind, so her classmates wanted to stay with her first to confirm her thoughts.

Hikigaya also had some time to rest.

Today he has been thinking about how to deal with Ichinose’s affairs, so he felt a little sleepy and planned to lie down for a while before going out to find food.

xxxxx

Maybe he’s a little tired, gradually.

Started dreaming.

In the dream, life was relatively peaceful.

He fulfilled his life dream and became a househusband.

”Why do I have to go to work?!” In the first year of his marriage, Hikigaya found himself leaving home.

”Although I am the chairman,” Arisu pouted very cutely, she even looks quite angry too, ”But do you think my body is suitable for working every day?”

Then just suddenly became pitiful.

”...” Rich women can actually choose not to work.

But Advanced Nurturing High School is very unique, and as chairman of the board, on the one hand, have to take a political stand, so can’t easily hand it over to other people.

Otherwise it will be considered disrespectful.

At the same time, some issues and directions for students also need guidance of the chairman.

So it really can’t be handed over to other people.

And Sakayanagi inherited this position after her father stepped down.

She is only daughter in the family and there is no other choice.

.....Moreover, he needed follow-up funds because of his original choice, so he could only take money from Sakayanagi and then transfer it to Ichinose.

Then, he can only go out to work temporarily.

”...”

”...”

Something seems to be wrong.

”Impossible! This is impossible!”

Perhaps because he had dreamed about something terrifying, Hikigaya woke up suddenly and saw the familiar ceiling.

Well....This is dormitory of Advanced Nurturing High School.

Scared him.

Because how could he have such a dream? He used the money that Sakayanagi had given him to support Ichinose, and then was tricked by Sakayanagi into going to work.

This is too scary.

Dong! Dong!

Someone was knocking on the door.

And he seemed to be a bad guy.

After knocking twice and finding no one responded, started knocking again.

Dong! Dong!

”I’m coming!”

Dong! Dong! Dong!

”What the fuck?! I am coming!”

Don----

Click.

”....Bloody hell, is there something wrong with you guy?”

Hachiman opened the door with ugly face and immediately noticed there was a girl at the door.

But it wasn’t that Ichinose left and came back.

A tall girl with long purple hair and a hairpin was standing at the door.

”.....” Kamuro-san, whose facial expression at the current moment is very similar to Hachiman.

Very disgusted.

Although she always has a stern face and gives people a cold impression, it is undeniable that Kamuro-san is actually a very good-looking person.

And Hachiman also noticed there seemed to be boys in the corridor who noticed this place.

”What do you want, Ayanokoji?”

Then, Kiyotaka looked over curiously.

Then he noticed that girl came to Hikigaya’s door, so he gave a jealous look and walked away.

”.....” Hachiman....’He is getting more creepier. I will definitely complain to Sakayanagi next time arou----’

”• ? •” He suddenly remembered his nightmare just now.

”Move over. I want to go inside.” Kamuro-san had enough of waiting.

”...”

That’s a really neat request.

Moreover, the other party even came to visit directly. Hachiman felt that she might have something to say she didn’t want others to hear.

After a slight hesitation, Hikigaya-kun made way for her to enter.

He actually has experience in doing this kind of thing.

On the one hand, he often needs to vent the emotions for Kushida-chan, and on the other hand, today he helped Ichinose sort out her psychological state.

Kamuro-san, who often acts like a dog for Sakayanagi, is obviously not in a very good mood either.

’Hey, what’s my physique like? I always need to appease these strange people.....’ While thinking about all sorts of things, Hachiman was actually trying hard to get the nightmare out of his mind.

How could he have such an outrageous dream of using the money that Sakayanagi used to support him to support Ichinose?

After all, it should be Ichinose who support him!

”...It’s so clean.” After coming in, Kamuro-san looked around and then sat on Hachiman’s bed without any pretense.

This is a rather excessive action, since Ichinose was sitting on a chair just now.

There is still some coffee left from the one he made for Ichinose.

So just pour some hot water in it and give it to Kamuro-san.

”Would you like coffee or tea?” Hachiman showed his generosity and kindness.

But this language has a trap, and usually only the first one is prepared.

”I want to drink brandy.” But Kamuro-san responded.

”....” This is really natural.

He gave her two options but she chose adult one.

”Don’t even lie, I know you have it.”

Right, the aroma is spreading.

However, he really had a variety of options here, so Hachiman finally gave her a 300ml bottle.

Pass it over. But Kamuro-san didn’t drink a single sip.

Instead, she took out the strawberry milk she had bought in advance from her pocket and started drinking it.

Wow.

’Isn’t it because I always ask you to queue up for food? Obviously, that was agreed by Sakayanagi. So, is it necessary to have such a look on your face?’

”So why did you come to see me today?” Hachiman asked.

Although they often eat together, and he also used Kamuro-san as a spy for the Sakayanagi class, and made her betray her in the pairing test, Hachiman doesn’t think his relationship with her is that good.

The usual contacts were all through Sakayanagi.

Then naturally, purpose of contacting each other is to do business.

”It’s a simple matter. I hope you can help Ichinose Honami.”

”Ichinose?” Hachiman repeated name. He was trying to confirm the credibility of Kamuro-san in front.

Kamuro is a dog.

So she is here now, saying this, is it her or Sakayanagi’s intention?

But Kamuro-san didn’t expect him to think about her like this, she just noticed his scrutinizing gaze and thought he was asking her the reason, so she explained, ”Is Ichinose a good or an evil person? I don’t think I am qualified to comment on such a topic, because in a sense she and I are the same.”

Kamuro-san said so.

What needs to be paid attention to here is the word ”I” in her words.

So the ”I” here means what is the same between Kamuro-san and Ichinose Honami?

Hachiman already knows about Ichinose’s dark history and what it is.

’So, is it the same for you, Kamuro-san?’ He started to take this seriously.

He was intrigued by the way Sakayanagi was able to tame Kamuro, although it was mostly due to her M-type attribute, but Hachiman thought it would be difficult to catch her in the first place.

It seems like Sakayanagi wanted to work through the other person because she took advantage of the fact that Kamuro-san was a poor student.

But this is obviously not what Sakayanagi grasped.

”That girl is completely unaware of our meeting,” Kamuro-san has no idea what rude thing Hikigaya-kun is thinking, but she looks serious and says it.

”As you know, it was Sakayanagi’s idea to arrange Hashimoto to do the job. At the same time, it was her plan to target Ichinose. If we can directly attack Class A’s monitor, then people will be almost unable to resist, which is quite beneficial to our class. If we stay down in C for too long, the morale of our class will be damaged. So we have to launch a counterattack!”

”It’s just that I want to save Ichinose. I know her, and she has talked to me before in forest exam. She is different from ordinary students, so I never thought that such an angel would have the same past as me. I sympathize with her, so I want you to save her. You are the only one who can stop Sakayanagi’s plan.” Kamuro-san actually became serious at the end.

It looked like she was really asking for his help.

Clap! Clap!

”You are very good at acting. This is just your one-sided statement,” Hachiman didn’t believe it, ”And Kamuro-san, do you know what it means for you to ask me for help?”

”It means you and Sakayanagi Arisu have different opinions. It means you are betraying her. And do you think you have the courage to betray her? Also, what is your shared past with Ichinose?” Hachiman fired back three counterattacks in a row, causing Kamuro Masumi’s body to stiffen as she sat on his bed.

But she seemed to have expected to be questioned, so she stood up suddenly and threw her cell phone on Hachiman’s bed.

The school’s mobile phones can be used for making calls, proving identity, and shopping with personal points.

”As long as I can prove it, that’s all.” She said and rushed out the door.

But Hachiman remained motionless.

He knows exactly what Archangel Ichinose’s weakness is, and Kamuro says they are the same.

In other words... Kamuro-san has now left behind a cell phone that could be used to obtain shopping receipts, intending to... steal things as evidence that can be used to threaten her and force him to believe her?

In previous incident of the store clerk secretly photographing someone in the shopping street, Kamuro-san’s hand speed was indeed very fast, and she directly took the clerk’s SD card.

It was amazing.

After a little thought, Hachiman sent a message to Karuizawa Kei.

[Eh? I was outside the dormitory. You want me to do something troublesome again.]

Karuizawa responded quickly.

It is also due to fact they cannot live without mobile phones and like to hold them all the time.

”Anyway, please.”

[...Okay.] by Karuizawa.
