COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Two more days passed, and day of the written test, which required to study hard, was approaching.

Students in Class A were both happy and nervous compared to air.

Fortunately, although Ichinose’s dark history was exposed, no one hated her, and she also confirmed that she would stay in school with everyone.

What’s worrying is that umors are all directed at Ichinose-san, so they won’t feel at ease unless the person behind it is found out or dealt with.

It’s just that Hikigaya-kun is in charge, so everyone has to follow his instructions.

It was called an order, but in fact it just meant for Ichinose to stay indoors.

The reason is that Ichinose has been repeatedly attacked by rumors, so she has to act as if she is hurt.

At the same time, arrange someone to report to Student Council.

Some classmates had reported to office yesterday and the day before, but unfortunately, only Vice President Kiriyama was on duty, who did not think it was a big deal.

Just a prank, he will not interfere.

This made little angels in Ichinose’s class somewhat dissatisfied.

But after all, other party is Vice president, so had no choice but to come back obediently.

And then Hikigaya-kun didn’t continue to instruct.

So, Ichinose’s class were all wondering how Hikigaya-kun was going to end this matter.

That’s why I said, atmosphere these days is not good.

All classes have been in chaos over past two days.

Reason is simple.

After rumors started spreading about Ichinose, various rumors also surfaced about classes like D, B, and C.

[Hikigaya Hachiman and Kushida Kikyo signed the marriage registration form together, agreeing to get married after graduation.

Kushida-chan will be responsible for supporting him.]

[Kamuro-san likes Hikigaya Hachiman]

[Ike Kanji is only interested in fat girls]

[Shinohara Satsuki sold her body.]

[Ishizaki’s ex-girlfriend from Class D was snatched away by Hashimoto Masayoshi from Class C]

[Ibuki Mio and Hikigaya watched a movie together, more than once]

[Ryuji Kanzaki from Class A is actually a rich second-generation with a distinguished family background]

[Ichinose Honami’s points have reached 12 million. Once she reaches 20 million, she will move to Class B.]

These appear to be completely unfounded rumors.

Especially the first one.

It’s outrageous!

Because Kushida-chan is a little angel, how could she sign a marriage form directly with other students?

Besides, this is at school, how is it possible to get a marriage registration form?

Besides, doesn’t Hikigaya already have a girlfriend like Horikita Suzune?

Most of these rumors were spread by a student in Class B.

It’s Haruki Yamauchi.

.....I don’t know where he got the information from and then made it up.

But when it was passed to Class C, it had already become home.

[Hikigaya Hachiman and Kushida plan to get married right after graduation and have three children.

The names of the children have been chosen. The boys are Tadano and Makoto, and girls are Komi and Kaguya]

[Masumi Kamuro went to Hikigaya’s room every night and was seen several times]

[Ike Kanji is only interested in fat girls]

[Shinohara Satsuki charges 20,000 per night]

[Ibuki often makes trouble for Horikita because she wants her and Hikigaya to break up]

[Ryuji Kanzaki plans to skip classes once he collects 20 million yen]

[After Ryuen entered school, he found his lost twin brother Ayanokoji Kiyotaka with the same birth date]

“• •”

But these were first-year rumors and did not involve senior grades.

Even so, sudden rumor still caused chaos in Class B, Class D, and Class C.

Especially in Class D, Ryuen’s follower Ishizaki was shocked when he heard about it.

Because he really found out that reason his girlfriend broke up with him was because she fell in love with Hashimoto from Class C.

So, he blocked Hashimoto’s entry into the cafeteria every day.

Ibuki, one of Ryuen’s most loyal friends, was also wrongly accused of being a mistress and was furious.

Yesterday, she wanted to pick a fight with Yamauchi from Class B.

Because rumors that circulated at the beginning seemed a bit outrageous, but they also seemed to be somewhat true.

But once it passed through Yamauchi’s mouth, things immediately became strange.

And in Class B.

“Fatty Pool~”

For example, because of a sudden rumor, Ike Kanji was given a new nickname by his companions.

When this rumor appeared, he denied it on the spot and said that his favorite was still Kushida Little Angel.

But this argument is useless, because everyone likes Kushida-chan, right?

So he is still the object of everyone’s entertainment.

As for the rumors about Hachiman.

Hikigaya-kun didn’t have a very strong reaction.

“It’s just—”

“Owaahhh!!!” After hearing such rumors, Kushida-chan burst into tears out of anger.

From this perspective, it is indeed a rumor.

Hikigaya-kun didn’t cheat on his girlfriend, and Kushida-chan wasn’t the kind of little angel who liked cheating men.

“• •” Suzune kept frowning, not at all understanding the looks of pity and sympathy directed towards her.

And the worst person right now is Shinohara Satsuki.

Because rumors about her were the most outrageous.

Prostitution or something.

The price is clearly marked.

How is this possible?

She usually belongs to the Karuizawa group and is often second in rank, so when such rumors spread about her, her companions began to refute them without her having to say anything.

“It looks a bit lively.”

After arriving at the classroom, Hachiman looked at his classmates who were talking about the rumor and said to Suzune beside him.

While rumors were spread about the most insignificant and unremarkable people in the class, Suzune was not attacked by rumors again, and although others were not as fierce as her previous one, it was still obvious that people who were spread the rumors about were quite annoyed.

“Yeah....” Suzune just said blankly, glaring at the girl who nodded in her direction for some kind of cheer.

“Rumors are really scary,” Hachiman didn’t notice her face, “Maybe if they spread for a few more days, people will even say that I’m going to marry you.”

“• •” Suzune’s frown deepened.

Don’t believe him.

Because he was the one who selected all rumors that were spread, and then asked her to find Teacher Chabashira to get an anonymous account, and packaged and sent them to email addresses of several students.

Not all of these students participated in spreading rumors.

Only Yamauchi started it directly.

Then, one person started spreading it, and more joined in.

By now, it has evolved compared to the original rumor, and even the characters have changed.

It seems that some people also took the opportunity to spread rumors about people they hate or like.

For example, the one about Shinohara was not asked by Hachiman to post.

It must be someone who hates Shinohara and deliberately posted it that way.

”Hey Shinohara——”

While most people were furious, one student walked directly to Shinohara Satsuki, who was subject of one of the rumors.

“…”

There were some outrageous rumors about Shinohara, but the girls were intimidated by the fact that she was a member of Karuizawa’s team, so no one was so blind as to discuss it.

But there was one exception in the class.

That’s Yamauchi-kun.

He’s rather arrogant, careless, and doesn’t even understand the atmosphere.

“I heard that you sold your body for sex when you were in junior high school, right? Don’t be angry, show me the evidence.”

“It’s 20,000 a month right, are you still doing it now?” Knowing Yamauchi’s mind, this could be just a joke.

Even without intentional slander.

But is this guy speaking human language to his classmates?

What he said not only stunned Shinohara, girl at the center of the incident, but also boys and girls nearby.

“You asshol----”

The girls then became angry and began to rebuke Yamauchi for believing rumors.

“Yamauchi!” Sudo, who was on good terms with him among the boys, hurried to hold him.

Sudo knew that Yamauchi was just talking without thinking, so he just had to hold him back.

As for Ike, who used to get along well with Yamauchi, he has given up.

Yamauchi’s words were also annoying.

“What are you doing - Sudo, I didn’t ask the wrong question, because isn’t Shinohara’s price being circulated now?” Yamauchi was a little impatient when his arm was suddenly grabbed, but when he saw it was Sudo, he restrained himself a little.

After all, Sudo is an athletic guy and is also very tall.

Being caught like this in public, Yamauchi was a little unconvinced, so he looked at Ike and said quickly, ”By the way, Ike, didn’t you say a few days ago that you thought Shinohara was good? I just asked her out for you if she had ever had paid dating.”

“I’m helping you, right? Also, you’ve been very cold to me since we left the uninhabited island!” Yamauchi looked indignant.

It seemed that he was helping Ike to confirm Shinohara’s purity.

Is that so?

This kind of nonsense.

Immediately, someone focused their attention on Ike, who was also source of the rumor that he liked fat girls.

And now.

Shinohara is not fat.

But this is just information revealed by Yamauchi, and its credibility... should be credible.

Yamauchi is not very good at hiding things.

So maybe Ike Kanji really thinks Shinohara is good looking.

If this is case with Class B, then what about Class A, which was subject of rumors from the very beginning?

After staying indoors for three days, Ichinose Honami returned to class today.

Hikigaya-kun said that when she returns to the class again, that will be end of the matter.

So now it means things are coming to an end.

Students in Class A were somewhat excited.

But at this moment, Class A discovered 3 uninvited guests entered the classroom door.

Almost moment they saw them, and even though it was time to get out of class to end, people gathered around them spontaneously.

Because visitors are first-year students from Class A and now Class C, Arisu Sakayanagi, Masumi Kamuro, and Masayoshi Hashimoto.

Among them, Hashimoto has been confirmed to be the person who spread the rumors last time.

Shibata, Kanzaki and the others went to Class C to rush past Hashimoto, who previously escaped midway.

And now he came straight marching.

However, Hashimoto should have been instructed by Sakayanagi, who might be a bad person.

“Don’t be so nervous,” Sakayanagi really didn’t like hostile looks on her face, “I just came to inquire about origin of the rumor. Students in my class were also caught up.”

“I’m sorry for my previous behavior towards Ichinose-san, but you won’t regret it.” Sakayanagi opened her mouth, and then looked at Archangel Ichinose.

“Ichinose-san and I are friends, and that won’t change. But when someone put a rumor in her shoe cabinet, I saw it and was not sure, so I tested her angelic DNA. After all, once some things are exposed, damage to her will be extremely dangerous. I even think she is likely to drop out of school on her own.”

So Sakayanagi came to apologize?

And she said it so sincerely, and was very considerate of Ichinose.

People knows that Ichinose’s original choice was to drop out of school.

Anger of students in Class A dissipated in an instant.

Sakayanagi Arisu is so cute and adorable, she doesn’t look like a bad person at all.

“….”

“....” Kamuro-san who saw this farce.
