Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1168 - 620: Rational Planning Within the World Tree (Part 2)

Hmm... the surrounding area is all self-service buffet, who wouldn’t like that.

”Silver King Mimi has always been outside the World Tree, hasn’t come in.” Li Wenxi stretched lazily on the sofa, ”I haven’t gone out either, I was so busy before, I didn’t dare to go out casually, if I go out for ten minutes, a whole day would pass inside.”

”Ah... Mimi.”

Mimi, as the leader of the surrounding group of mutated creatures, has always stayed with them after that siege battle.

Although they suffered heavy casualties at the time, those remaining were all extremely powerful beings.

Still a formidable fighting force.

”And, the pangolin family along with the group of subdued pangolins are all living in the underground world now. They seem to prefer it there, I wanted to bring them back, but they didn’t want to, so I didn’t force them. Anyway, they are needed for mining every time, living below is actually more convenient for them.”

”Squeak!” Keke drew a big circle with its little paws, and then waved them a few times, ”Squeak squeak!”

It meant that the two pangolins, which were originally smaller than it, have become very very large.

Keke, bored during this period, has followed me down there several times.” Li Wenxi rubbed Keke’s belly and then thought of something, ”Oh right! Your egg...”

At this moment, there was the sound of wind outside the window, followed by a small gray-white winged dragon flying in through the window.

Upon seeing Xu Xin and Li Wenxi sitting there, the small winged dragon screeched, ”Ah—” used its front claws and hind legs to crawl in front of the two.

”Yes, that’s what I wanted to talk about!” Li Wenxi shook the winged dragon’s wings, ”Huihui hatched from that egg, you probably haven’t seen it yet!”

”I’ve seen it, as soon as I entered the World Tree, it flew to me.” Xu Xin made eye contact with the winged dragon’s big eyes.

”Huh? Really? Huihui is particularly shy, besides me and Yajun who were present at its hatching, it doesn’t let anyone touch it. As soon as someone gets close, it flies away.”

Yes, indeed it’s shy.

Just now, Xu Ying wanted to pet it but it wouldn’t allow it, and when the survivors approached, it flew away immediately.

This time, the little winged dragon Huihui snuggled in front of Xu Xin, placing its large head on his knee and closed its eyes.

”Oh... it really is close to you.” Li Wenxi was a bit surprised.

”Haha, it’s different from other egg-laying animals; it had consciousness from the time it was an egg. I was already familiar with it then.” Xu Xin patted its beak, ”Also, if I hadn’t found it on the snowy mountain in its condition back then, it probably wouldn’t have hatched and might have frozen to death there. That’s probably why it’s close to me.”

”I see.”

”Did you name it Huihui? Quite a simple name.”

”As if your name Cocoa Silver King Mimi is so pleasant.” Li Wenxi said, half annoyed.

”Squeak!” Keke waved its little paws.

”Alright, alright, the name Keke is pleasant.” Li Wenxi rubbed its ear as she spoke.

”Squeak!” Keke raised its little head.

”Hmm, it’s still small, from hatching until now, only... let me think, only three days have passed?”

”... It’s that big in just three days?” Xu Xin was a bit surprised.

He thought it would take at least half a month; turns out only three days have passed.

Its height on the ground reaches his waist?

The wingspan must be two or three meters, right?

Although the egg was very large, worthy of being called a giant egg, compared to Huihui now, it’s simply incomparable.

”It should have the bloodline of giant beasts, right?” Li Wenxi wasn’t too sure either, ”It’s growing indeed very fast.”

”Squeak!”

Keke suddenly jumped out from Xu Xin’s arms onto the back of the little winged dragon.

”Ah—!”

The little winged dragon let out a somewhat immature cry, then flew out of the window with Keke.

”Oh... Keke can even ride winged dragons flying now.” Xu Xin couldn’t help but smile.

”These two little ones have been playing like this these two days.” Li Wenxi watched the increasingly smaller shadow outside the window, then stood up smiling, ”Let’s go, I’ll take you out for a walk too.”

”Sure.” Xu Xin stood up too, looking out the window, ”Do you think that when Huihui grows up, it can fly with us?”

”Surely, and with its current growth rate, it probably won’t be long before it can carry people flying!”

”Can’t wait for that.”

The two took a little stroll around the already constructed area.

Finally, they arrived at the treehouse jungle.

Although the forest in front of them didn’t have many trees, less than three hundred, each tree’s canopy was large, making the whole place look very lush and full.

”All the treehouses in the World Tree are here.” Li Wenxi pointed to a treehouse, ”My treehouse is there too.”

”Hmm... I should go out and transplant my treehouse up here too.”

”Then I’ll go with you.”

As soon as they came out from the World Tree, both felt a sense of urgency, racing against time to move Xu Xin’s World Tree inside, taking just over a minute.

But even so, inside, two hours had passed.

Before this, other than his treehouse, the explorer members’ treehouses had already been moved into the World Tree. Now, even his has been moved.

Now, only a dozen ordinary treehouses, used as watchtowers and communication stations, remain outside.
