Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 246: Chapter 223: Has Qi Xuefei Had an Accident? (4200 words!)

Saying goodbye to Li Yajun, the two continued northward.

Now, their location is already very close to Qi Xuefei’s treehouse.

Qi Xuefei’s treehouse is actually northeast of Li Yajun’s. Looking to the northeast, you can already see that green area.

However, because the two treehouses are diagonally opposite each other, the distance is even farther, certainly more than twelve kilometers, so there’s no way for their protection zones to connect. Xu Xin and the others can’t go straight across; they have to detour from the north or the east.

They have two options: First, head north to reach the protection zone of the northern treehouse, then go east to Qi Xuefei’s protection zone. Second, head east to the eastern treehouse, then north.

But now, the eastern treehouse is actually just north of Li Wenxi’s and is already dead. Since its deterrent protection zone doesn’t connect with Li Wenxi’s treehouse, it’s likely it won’t connect with Qi Xuefei’s treehouse either.

So, they chose to go all the way north.

The northern treehouse is the one to the west of Qi Xuefei’s treehouse, and it’s a survivor’s treehouse from zone 187. It’s also one of the treehouses Xu Xin needs to help her deal with. It’s one of the reasons he came this time.

Fortunately, just now at Li Yajun’s treehouse, he could clearly see that the levels of this tree were very low; it should just be a two-story treehouse. So the owner of the treehouse shouldn’t be a master like Ma Hongwei, and it won’t take much effort to deal with.

Just handle it on the way, and directly tie the person up to work for Qi Xuefei at her treehouse.

”So, Xu Xin, what do we do when we go back?” Li Wenxi suddenly turned her head to look at Xu Xin and asked.

”Hmm? What do you mean what to do?” Xu Xin was a bit puzzled by what Li Wenxi was saying and asked in confusion, ”Are you talking about Li Yajun? We’ll just take the same way back and take her with us.”

”So, you mean you want to take us back to my treehouse first and then return to your treehouse?”

”...You’re thinking of making a detour to my treehouse, aren’t you?” Xu Xin understood. She thought that with Li Yajun, they wouldn’t be able to visit his treehouse.

”Hmm... I don’t know when we’ll meet next...” Li Wenxi leaned in his arms, ”I want to see your treehouse...”

”Next time we meet?” Xu Xin was stunned for a moment and then chuckled, ”I forgot to tell you, I’m planning to create the coordinates tonight to connect our treehouses, so starting tonight, we’ll practically be neighbors.”

”... Really!” Li Wenxi suddenly turned to look at him, her pretty face filled with astonishment and incredulous joy.

”Of course, tomorrow I need to deal with the person south of you, which requires the coordinates, so naturally, I have to make them tonight.”

Xu Xin shared his plan with Li Wenxi, including how he tricked Ma Hongwei and what he plans to do tomorrow.

”Wow, you’re... so cunning!” Li Wenxi widened her eyes at him, feeling her naive heart being struck once again, ”You, you, you... you’re so good at lying! I couldn’t tell!”

”Ying!” Keke, in her arms, also eagerly nodded, indicating its agreement.

”I’ve never lied to you.” Xu Xin smiled.

”Hmmph, who knows, now I really want to see that woman named Lou Fei’Er at your treehouse; she’s the one who taught you these things, right!”

”What did she teach me? I’m a natural talent, learned it all on my own, okay?” Xu Xin immediately refuted.

”So you’re naturally good at lying too?” Li Wenxi glanced at him sideways.

”I never said that.” Xu Xin sighed, gosh, nothing seems right.

”Hmmph, then what do we do tonight? Can we still visit your treehouse?” Li Wenxi didn’t continue the argument, nestled into Xu Xin’s arms, and asked.

”Hmm... You can come with me to my treehouse first, wait for me to create the coordinates, then I’ll take you back. In fact, this might be the best option.”

Now that the coordinates haven’t been created, Xu Xin isn’t sure if they can be traded through the trading platform.

If they can be traded and the other party can use them, it would be much more convenient. He could directly trade them and let the other party position them, allowing him to transport over.

But Xu Xin recalled the description of the coordinates.

[Coordinates (Blue): Can be placed on any flat surface. Any friendly or neutral unit, with the creator’s permission, can teleport between the coordinates.]

The description clearly mentions the ”creator” instead of the ”placer,” meaning these coordinates might only be usable by the creator, which is him, for placement and adjustment.

We’ll see once it’s created if it can be traded. If not, he might have to personally place the coordinates.

However, it seems that such a coordinate might not be tradable. Despite its massive cost, it’s a mere blue-level resource. If it could be traded and placed, he could just trade a coordinate wherever he wanted to go, which is a bit too much.

It might be better to let them wait at his treehouse for a bit, improve the decor level first, and then create the coordinates.

Otherwise, if he sends them back first, returns to his treehouse to produce the coordinates, and then has to send her the coordinates, wouldn’t he be making two trips?
