Wizard: Grinding from Knight to Primogenitor

Chapter 127: Chapter 115: Thunder Beast Mode, Wizard Assassin

It was because the black-robed person in the vision was using Magic to attack and defend.

An orange-red Flame Ray!

A fist-sized Fireball!

Acid Rain with a powerful corrosive effect!

Python-like vines!

A Semi-Transparent Shield glowing with a soft white light!

Soon, the vision from the Spiritual Warning vanished completely.

’This guy is a Wizard Apprentice!’

Roy quickly reached a conclusion.

He had never fought an Official Wizard before. But when he saw himself fighting the black-robed figure with ease in the vision, he knew his opponent wasn’t an Official Wizard, but a Wizard Apprentice.

He knew his own capabilities perfectly well.

If the black-robed person were an Official Wizard, he wouldn’t have looked so relaxed during the fight.

What’s more, judging from the Spiritual Warning’s vision, his future self was intentionally toying with the black-robed person, giving them time to keep casting Magic.

According to his usual combat style, once he had the upper hand, he would kill his opponent immediately. He wouldn’t act like a villain who talks too much, giving his enemy a chance to make a comeback.

Once Roy confirmed the black-robed figure in his Spiritual Warning was a Wizard Apprentice, the first person who came to mind was the Ironblood Duke.

The black-robed figure definitely wasn’t the Ironblood Duke himself.

If Roy wasn’t mistaken, this was an Assassin the Duke had hired specifically to kill him.

As for why the Ironblood Duke didn’t act personally, the reason was simple: the Ironblood Duke was scared.

Roy’s victory against five opponents at Rock Lion Castle didn’t just build his own reputation; it also boosted the prestige of the Dark Night Knight.

He was the Dark Night Knight’s student. Presumably, the Secret Techniques he’d mastered were taught to him by the Dark Night Knight.

He could use Secret Techniques to defeat and kill opponents of a higher rank—and five of them at that.

That meant the Dark Night Knight could likely do the same.

Even if the Dark Night Knight hadn’t taught Roy the Secret Techniques he used to kill those five Black Iron Great Knights, the Ironblood Duke wouldn’t dare take that chance.

Because if he lost that gamble, it wouldn’t just be his own life on the line. His wife, children, and siblings would die as well.

What’s more, the Reilly Clan could be completely annihilated as a result.

With the stakes so high, the Ironblood Duke had no choice but to be cautious.

Otherwise, given his usual methods, he would have personally come to kill Roy and the Dark Night Knight long ago.

Roy didn’t know where the Ironblood Duke found the black-robed person, but he didn’t waste time wondering. With a single thought, he returned to his bedroom.

He then headed straight for Tony’s study.

Soon, he arrived at Tony’s study.

Before Tony could speak, he immediately said, ”I have to go out for something.”

”Where are you going?”

Tony asked quickly, looking at Roy in confusion.

”It’s nothing. Just a trip to Rock Lion Castle.”

Roy offered a casual excuse.

”When will you be back, then?”

Tony asked.

”Noon tomorrow.”

”That’s all for now. You can get back to your work.”

With that, Roy left the study and vanished from Tony’s sight.

As he watched Roy’s hurried departure, a thought suddenly struck Tony.

’It’s been a week since he went to see Catherine and Miria. It’s only natural that he’s getting antsy!’

’He’s a young man, after all!’

Tony chuckled and shook his head, then returned to the documents on his desk.

It was a natural assumption for him to make.

But he could never have guessed the real reason for Roy’s haste. It wasn’t because he’d been ”holding out” for too long, but because tonight, he would meet the first Wizard Apprentice he’d encountered since arriving in this world.

It had now been over a year since he arrived in this world.

And yet, in all that time, he had never seen a single living Wizard or Wizard Apprentice.

The fact that the Wizard Apprentice he was about to meet was trying to kill him did nothing to dampen his excitement.

’A Wizard Apprentice!’

’A living, breathing Wizard Apprentice who had mastered several types of Magic and could use them in battle!’

’More importantly, he could learn from this person where to find the other Wizards in this world.’
