Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 218: Chapter 43 The River of Time and Space Shatters the Starry Sky_3

But Hill could see, outside his territory, countless tornado columns were howling, and the sky began to flash with lightning and roar with thunder.

In the gigantic screen, the fierce wind carried torrential rain and blazing flames on the ground, charging straight at the demon army.

This will that could shroud the entire world, shielded like a dome over the starry sky, paired with such a wildly raging natural consciousness, made Hill understand why the natural consciousness was so naive and bewildered.

There must have once been a Nature God in this world, but it was killed, its divine soul dissipated. Even the godly body was turned into this curtain.

The natural consciousness was now feeling the agony of its predecessor’s death. Without fully venting it out, it would not stop.

Hill did not plan to interfere with the few starry kingdoms teetering in the starry sky. He quietly sank into meditation, hoping to soothe the near-breaking natural consciousness.

”I will always love nature!” he silently called in his heart, ”I will always be with you, so please do not cry anymore.”

Hill’s mental world had long been filled with sounds of painful sobbing.

Nature heard Hill’s call, crying out its indignation and sorrow to Hill.

A tear slid down Hill’s face. As that curtain was gradually decomposed by the River of Time and Space, he finally felt endless grief.

It was not just the divine body of nature! There were also fragments of the earth core and pieces of the sun and moon on it.

The bloodline of the Earth Bear pulsed fiercely: that was the wail from the bloodline’s origin, the endless longing for Mother Earth.

Hill was completely immersed in his mental sea. He had to calm his bloodline and stop the natural consciousness from crying. For the first time in this world, he did not care about anything outside.

Hill who had always felt the passage of time during deep meditation, for the first time, felt a sense of timelessness when he opened his eyes.

He felt like a long time had passed, but he did not feel tired at all, even though he had been standing there the entire time.

Hill gently moved his body, turned his head to look at Fran, and gently bowed his head with his hand on his chest: ”Thank you, grandfather, for watching over me.”

Fran sat on the sofa with a book, a rare relaxed look on his face: ”It has been half a month! Although I don’t know what happened, during this time you almost gave me the feeling of transforming into a Spirit of Nature. Congratulations on your advancement.”

Hill stretched his body, feeling carefully. He indeed took a small step forward on his legendary path.

Although no spells had been added to the magic ring, Hill intuitively felt that almost all spells could be cast according to his will, including the wind spells he had not yet fully understood.

He could now raise his hand and cast a row of tornadoes.

”Saying I am a Spirit of Nature isn’t far off,” Hill quipped, ”except for the fire element.”

Fran shook his head helplessly.

”Those few kingdoms all collapsed, including the God of Nobility.” He sneered, his face full of disdain, ”In the end, they had to abandon their godly bodies and reincarnate in the world. Ironically, the God of Nobility who came in first lived slightly better.”

Hill blinked.

”The demons attacking Saral have all died.” Fran put down the book and stood up: ”The new ones emerging from the Abyssal Gate have all headed into Noah Country. The King has ordered the border residents fleeing to Saral to be sheltered. Many from the Undead Tribe went out of the border to rescue people.”

He walked over and patted Hill on the head: ”Adrian has also completed his transaction and is preparing to return. When he comes back, we’ll talk more about what happened these past few days. You should go back to the Magic Tower and rest first!”
