Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2106.5- Race Annihilation Battle (3)

The sounds coming from the central manor caused the Huaitang Clan warriors, who were clashing with the Star-Eye Clan at the entrance, to turn their heads one after another.

This action was an instinct, a reflex they had when they were off guard. Unfortunately, this instinct cost them their lives.

The Star-Eye clansmen and Star-Eye Clan city guards behind them, who had previously endured being shoved and even beaten without much retaliation, suddenly struck to kill at this moment. In an instant, nearly a thousand of these Huaitang Clan warriors were directly eliminated.

Counting the two thousand who had just been sent as reinforcements, there were only a little over three thousand people at the main entrance. Suddenly, a third of them were gone. Moreover, this surprise attack was continuous. The Star-Eye Clan warriors, having succeeded in their first strike, immediately launched a large-scale slaughter of these people and the surrounding Huaitang clansmen. Within just a few minutes, they had turned the surrounding area into a scene of carnage. At this point, large numbers of Star-Eye Clan warriors had also arrived, charging into the Huaitang Clanʼs manor along the bloody path opened by their comrades.

Various weapons bombarded the forty thousand Huaitang Clan warriors assembled together from the city wall. They couldnʼt fight back because the distance was simply too great. They could only scatter as much as possible, and if they couldnʼt dodge, they did their best to defend.

However, those city defense weapons, specifically designed to target higher life forms, were capable of unleashing astonishing power when facing no threat at all. After expending all the prepared ammunition, arrows, and bolts in one go, at least five thousand of the forty thousand Huaitang clansmen had been killed, and even more had suffered injuries of varying degrees. Looking from a distance, the ground was littered with fallen bodies.

The Huaitang Clan was already in chaos.

It was impossible not to be in chaos. Suddenly suffering such a severe attack in the most core area of their clan, how could they not be in chaos? The first reaction of many Huaitang people was that a large race had moved against them, since only a large or super-large race would possess such strength and audacity.

But when the attack from the city wall ceased, and the true enemy appeared, they couldnʼt believe their eyes.

It was actually the Star-Eye Clan!
Over ten thousand Star-Eye Clan warriors charged forward with murderous intent, like a sharp sword stabbing into the disorganized Huaitang Clan ranks.

In terms of numbers, the Star-Eye Clan was undoubtedly at a disadvantage; they were still far fewer. Even though the Huaitang Clan had been scoured by the city defense weapons, suffering over ten thousand casualties, there were still over twenty thousand who were alive and kicking, a full ten thousand more than the Star-Eye Clan. When it came to firepower, they were also considerably stronger than the Star-Eye Clan.

However, the current Star-Eye Clan had truly undergone a fundamental transformation. Not only had their strength greatly increased, but there was also a generational gap in weaponry and equipment compared to the Huaitang Clan. Moreover, their attacks subtly aligned with the formation, and they were well-prepared and full of momentum. Consequently, they cut through the Huaitang Clanʼs battle lines almost instantly.

The Huaitang Clan warriors were also fighting for their lives at this moment. Although they didnʼt know why the Star-Eye Clan had madly attacked them, nor how they had arrived here without any warning, they did know that if they didnʼt kill these people, they themselves would die.

Unfortunately, their counterattack had only just begun when a huge black mist giant appeared. With a single roar, amplified and enhanced by the nearby Raini Grade mechanical war beast, it swept across the entire battlefield. Every Huaitang Clan warrior was stunned for a moment, and those with weaker mental fortitude even became dizzy.

This momentary daze often meant death. Having pierced through the Huaitang Clanʼs formation, the Star-Eye Clan immediately dispersed, coinciding perfectly with the mental impact of Ye Zhongmingʼs transformed state.

To create a more favorable environment for the Star-Eye clansmen, Ye Zhongming had spared no expense. His mental energy was nearly depleted. It wasnʼt that he intended to stun all these people to death—he didnʼt have that ability—but his goal was achieved as long as he could cover as wide an area as possible and make the impact on the Huaitang Clan warriors as significant as possible.

Before coming, the Star-Eye Clan warriors had specifically prepared medicines and small equipment accessories to resist mental impacts, so they were only minimally affected. Furthermore, although Ye Zhongming couldnʼt achieve precise control over his mental energy down to every individual, he could still manage which areas were the focus and which areas could be briefly swept over.

The problem was that there were too many people here. If there had only been a few thousand, Ye Zhongming might even have been able to achieve precise individual mental attacks.

A seemingly simple move, which few could actually accomplish, had an incredibly significant impact on the situation.

The gap between the two sides was already narrowed by the Star-Eye Clanʼs advantages in weaponry, equipment, and surprise attack. This sudden mental impact was enough to become the final straw that broke the opponentʼs back.

When the Huaitang Clan warriors came to their senses from the impact, they realized that only about ten thousand of their clansmen were still standing.

They roared in anger, preparing to launch their most ferocious counterattack.

Unfortunately, some of the highest-strength Huaitang Clan warriors suddenly found themselves under fierce assault. Individuals who hadnʼt shown much prominence during the Star-Eye Clanʼs battle suddenly displayed extraordinary combat abilities, directly killing or wounding these targets.

And Ye Zhongming, in his transformed state, was an expert in group attacks. By this point in the battle, there was no longer any suspense.

By the time the two Star-Eye Clan leaders appeared, carrying the bodies of Weicu and a group of high-ranking members, the remaining Huaitang Clan warriors completely collapsed.

This collapse manifested in several ways: some attacked like madmen, completely reckless; some began to flee, following their instincts; some surrendered, hoping to save their lives; some went insane, utterly unable to accept the current situation.

”Jie Su, thanks!”

White Robe, covered in blood, came up to his good friend and patted him on the shoulder. This time, Jie Su had brought three thousand warriors to help, including dozens of experts. They had swiftly killed the command layer of the Huaitang Clanʼs tactics, which could be said to have reduced many casualties for the Star-Eye Clan. Otherwise, they would still have won in the end, but they absolutely could not have achieved such a brilliant result as they had now, with fewer than two thousand casualties.

”Then you owe me a drink for this.” Jie Su laughed heartily, then continued, ”The battle isnʼt over yet. Letʼs go; we still have to clean up. The Huaitang Clan isnʼt just made up of these people.”

Both parties gestured to the two Star-Eye Clan leaders and immediately withdrew from the central manor according to plan, charging towards the other two blocks.

Meanwhile, the two Star-Eye Clan leaders and a group of guard warriors also quickly departed, not to fight, but to go see the Eight Heads.

Looking at the Huaitang Clan, which was now completely in disarray, both clan leaders felt a bit dazed.

Perhaps the Star-Eye Clan had truly ushered in an era of revival.
