Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2102: Ye Zhongming also earning money

The Su Clan gained a lot of benefits in this planet thunderfield, and naturally, so did the Star-Eye Clan and Ye Zhongming.

First, in terms of weapons and equipment, the reason the Su Clan made money from that was because Yaohan Su, using the convenience of his position as clan leader, not only prepared a large batch himself but also secretly bought a batch at low prices beforehand, and then later sold them at a markup.

This kind of speculative behavior was something the Star-Eye Clan and Ye Zhongming could not do. They did not have that much money on hand, nor that many people. More importantly, they did not have such good connections and resources; they lacked the ability and opportunity to profit from price differences like that.

After receiving news that the Su Clan had even sourced some equipment from the Talos Red Dwarves, Ye Zhongming could easily imagine that Yaohan Su had made a huge profit this time, the specific figure likely being astronomical.

Also, formation disks were particularly effective against parasites or mutated life forms. Their prices had already been high before. Ye Zhongming, having already mastered some formations, naturally understood the extent of the profit involved. After all, deducting the cost of materials, it was basically pure profit.

Previously, the Su Clan was reluctant to sell, but this time it was different. With similarly large-scale stocking, Ye Zhongming could only watch with envy. The net profit here was definitely higher than that from weapons and equipment.

Then there were the paid formations. Because the Star-Eye Clan now had formation masters, they got a price list for various formations early on. Ye Zhongming took one look and estimated that if five thousand races participated in the planet hunting this time, and each race only set up an average of one medium-grade formation, then the Su Clan would earn... over one billion Moonspan Gold!

Even after deducting materials and the payments to the formation masters, they could probably still earn five hundred million!

Five hundred million! Ye Zhongming, risking life and limb, having been hit by the benefits of the Library Palace falling from the sky, had only managed to get over two hundred million so far, and had spent more than half of it! Others easily made five hundred million!

Ye Zhongming knew that this was just the preparation phase. In a few days, the Su Clan would release a large number of formation disks and new paid formations, and this profit would multiply many times over! To ensure the safety of their own warriors as much as possible and to increase hunting efficiency, the cosmic races would definitely not be stingy. They would surely set up a few more formations, and definitely not just medium-grade ones.
Thinking it over, Ye Zhongming felt that this time in the planet hunting grounds, excluding the benefits the Su Clan gained from their own participation, just this ʼwar profiteeringʼ alone was conservatively estimated at around one point two billion, and could even reach one point five billion!

This was an extremely frightening figure. For comparison, if you took one point five billion to the Talos Red Dwarves, you could probably buy two Lie God-grade artifacts.

Compared to them, Ye Zhongmingʼs side was a bit ʼsmall-timeʼ.

He also manufactured equipment, and quite a lot of it. Besides meeting the Star-Eye Clanʼs own needs, the rest were placed for sale in their own shop and in the shops on the Su Clanʼs side.

If we talked about the per-unit profit on these weapons and equipment, Ye Zhongmingʼs was definitely much higher than the Su Clanʼs. After all, these pieces of equipment were all made by him. Deducting all materials for both successes and failures, during this special period, the profit could reach two hundred percent.

However, the quantity was limited after all. Ye Zhongming couldnʼt sell all the equipment he made. The good pieces were mostly kept for the Star-Eye Clan. Only a small number of Red Condensation-grade equipment were appropriately released, and not a single piece of Raini-grade was put out.

The higher the equipment grade, the higher the profit. But the King of Cloud Peakʼs own situation was special, so he had to give up this big piece of the pie.

Nevertheless, just from the ordinary-grade and Ke Steel-grade equipment made as a break while manufacturing high-grade items, there were at least one thousand pieces every Sunday. This manufacturing efficiency shocked even the Star-Eye Clan so much that their jaws dropped.

You had to know, this was while Ye Zhongming still manufactured at least ten Red Condensation-grade and one Raini-grade pieces of equipment every single day!

Monstrous!

Every Star-Eye clansman who knew about this efficiency thought of Ye Zhongming this way.

Of course, when they met him, the Ye Zhongming in their eyes was a walking Moonspan Gold production machine.

The vast majority of the proceeds from the sale of equipment belonged to Ye Zhongming. This money would then immediately be converted into various materials and returned to Ye Zhongmingʼs workbench.

The higher-ups of the Star-Eye Clan knew they couldnʼt let Ye Zhongming suffer such a loss for the clanʼs sake. So, after discussion, they made a decision: all profits from this planet hunting ground, after deducting various costs and compensation for fallen warriors, would all belong to Ye Zhongming.

Everyone thought this was the best approach because all of this was brought by Ye Zhongming. The Star-Eye Clan had already benefited greatly and needed to repay Ye Zhongming as much as possible.

Of course, they werenʼt doing this and getting nothing in return. At the very least, the weapons and equipment in the hands of the Star-Eye Clanʼs warriors were nearly completely upgraded.

Apart from weapons and equipment, Ye Zhongming naturally did not have the Su Clanʼs formation disks and formations. But he did have the allegiance of the Changxu Water Race and the various medicines they produced.

With Ye Zhongmingʼs support, the Changxu Water Race people had not been idle during this period. Externally, Helsky had been constantly searching for their clansmen in various survivor fortresses. Meanwhile, those in the secret base in Dark Strip City, using the abundant materials provided by Ye Zhongming, continued to manufacture medicines of various grades.

You had to know, the Changxu Water Race people previously did not have many such opportunities. Now, various materials they previously dared not imagine or could not afford were right before their eyes, available for use without fear of failure. With such an ample supply and in such a safe environment, their efficiency was extremely high. Large quantities of medicine were produced daily. These items, even more in demand than weapons and equipment, naturally brought Ye Zhongming huge profits.

Furthermore, because the Changxu Water Race people could continuously manufacture, their proficiency and understanding of their abilities improved daily by leaps and bounds, so, in a short period, many clansmen made breakthroughs, taking a big step forward in the grade and quality of the medicines they produced, which made Ye Zhongming grin from ear to ear.

These profits, the Changxu Water Race did not want; they all gave them to Ye Zhongming. They made it very clear to Ye Zhongming that, for now, they just needed to make Ye Zhongming strong. That way, he would be able to help them restore their race in the future.

And so, day after day passed. Soon, it was almost time to depart for the planet-hunting grounds. Ye Zhongming also temporarily broke away from his monotonous manufacturing life, resting and adjusting his form while taking stock of his income during this period.

Of course, these astonishing statistics and such did not cause much of a stir in Ye Zhongming, because before he left, the thing he had to do was much more exciting than that tabulation table!
