Chapter 2101: Su Clan changes

The headman had a feeling of being schemed against.

Had the formation wheels and the arranged formations all been released by the clan before?

If that was indeed the case, then it seemed... really nothing much to worry about.

Even if there was something, it couldnʼt be used as leverage against Yaohan Su. After all, these formation wheels and arranged formations had been released before, and if they had leaked, it would be hard to say it started this time.

The headman of this lineage began thinking rapidly about how to turn the current situation around.

Yaohan Su looked at the clansmen below and continued, ”Among the cosmic races of the universe, almost every race has its own characteristics. The Gurui Star Race has the sacred tree, the Sheke Star People can obtain star power, the Talos Red Dwarves have a talent for crafting, and even some races weʼve been paying more attention to recently, like the Huaitang Clan with their keen perception, or the Star-Eye Clan as the most outstanding assassins, and so on.”

”What about our Su Clan? Formations, yes, thatʼs correct. But why did we gain the ability to use formations after being baptized by the long river of time? To put it plainly, itʼs because our bodies, our talents, are suited for using formations.”

”We have also tried other directions, such as learning the cultivation methods of other races. But what was the actual result? Very little gain! With our huge population, only a very small number of people have achieved anything by learning the abilities of other races. And those people have lost their talent as members of the Su Clan.”

The people below were silent, quietly watching Yaohan Su.

”You might be thinking, what does what the clan leader says have to do with our meeting?” Yaohan Su braced his arms on the table, looking at the clansmen below with a calm gaze.
”What I mean is, our formations, in our own eyes, are excellent and suited for us. But for other races, formations—this thing we regard as our very life—might just be an auxiliary means that is neither here nor there.”

After saying this, Yaohan Su sighed.

”After all these years, doesnʼt everyone know the situation of our Su Clan? Perhaps ordinary Su Clan members donʼt think about it, donʼt reflect on it, and donʼt feel it deeply. But all of you here are higher-ups. What you normally come into contact with and think about has determined that your perspective is certainly not comparable to ordinary clan members. So you must have some understanding of the clanʼs situation. Donʼt tell me about factors of the era, and donʼt tell me that our racial decisions have determined that we must be in such a state!”

”Sailing against the current, if you donʼt advance, you retreat. I learned this phrase from that young fellow of the Star-Eye Clan. I think itʼs very good.” Yaohan Su straightened his body, his tone solemn. ”If our Su Clan does not improve, then we are retreating. We have already been left behind. We are no longer a first-tier major race. Races like the Reina Star People, the Huoʼer Star People, the Talos Red Dwarves, the Sheke Star People, and even the Gurui Star Race—they are the ones now. We... are not.”

”Itʼs cruel, but that is the truth.” Yaohan Su raised his tone a little. ”So what do we do? Just continue this slow death?”

”I donʼt know what you all think, but I... will not allow myself to do nothing achieve.”

Hearing Yaohan Su say this, the headman frowned and said, ”You are an alarmist.”

”No, what I say is the truth.” Yaohan Suʼs gaze shot like lightning. ”When our strength declines to a certain point, or when the strength of other races surpasses ours to a certain degree, our disaster will begin.”

”What I am doing now is all for us to continue surviving in this universe. To accept some things, such as the Star-Eye Clan. To abandon some things, such as formation wheels and formations... thatʼs how it is.”

The head of another lineage snorted coldly and said, ”You are exaggerating too much. Even if our Su Clan is relatively a little weaker, we are still much stronger than the vast majority of races. Even if it came to genocide, it wouldnʼt be our turn.”

Even if they ranked last among the super major races, they were still a super major race. What Yaohan Su said seemed a bit like a persecutory delusion.

”We are certainly not the weakest race. But tell me, if the situation changes dramatically, which would those races with absolute strength go to devour: those small races with little nutrition? Or us, who have already declined and are fat meat?!”

”Surely you donʼt really think that as long as youʼre not the very last among the myriad races of the universe, you can remain safe and sound? Shall I give you examples?”

The people below fell into deep thought.

”I canʼt be certain, but I did hear through some channel that not long ago, the two major races of Reina Star People and Huoʼer Star People once considered taking action against us and the Talos Red Dwarves. It was only because of a series of events like the nutrient wave that we narrowly escaped disaster.”

Many people were hearing this news for the first time. Amidst their shock, they began discussing animatedly, digesting this information.

”You...”

”Believe it or not, as you wish.” Yaohan Su didnʼt even let the headmen of the other two lineages speak. He waved his hand grandly and said, ”I am the clan leader now. I have a deep sense of fear. I will never allow any bad things to happen to our Su Clan under my watch.”

”Therefore, I have decided that not only this time, but in the future as well, we will increase the output of formation wheels and formations to increase our Su Clanʼs income. The profits earned will be used to increase investment in the research and development of new formations or new formation abilities, to increase rewards for clansmen who achieve results, and to purchase everything that can make us strong!”

”Furthermore, I will also conduct a thorough search across the entire clan to identify ten thousand clansmen suitable for practicing Follow Formation. I will teach them the true essence of Follow Formation.”

At this moment, Yaohan Suʼs momentum was very strong. ”This is my decision. You cannot oppose it, because I created Following Fed by me. I have the right to teach it to anyone. My ancestors gave me protection and luck, granting me such ability. Therefore, I will surely promote and expand this ability within the Su Clan.”

”Our future must be determined by us, not by... luck, or anything else.”

”Clan leader!”

”You cannot...”

”This matter...”

”I think...”

By the time Yaohan Su finished speaking, the place below had become a complete chaos, with everyone trying to stop Yaohan Suʼs actions.

The massive output of formation wheels and formations, and the large-scale teaching of Following Formation—this was practically destroying the very foundation of their rule.

”Itʼs decided! If all of you think I am wrong, you can impeach me! But before making a decision, please put your hand on your heart and carefully think about ourselves, our race, and the entire universe.”

Having said that, Yaohan Su ignored everyone else and continued as he walked, ”Also, donʼt think that formations and formation wheels are really so impressive, donʼt think that our Su Clan is still a super major race, donʼt think that we are the leaders of the three major camps... These things give you nothing but illusions, and also extinction.”
