Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

For a moment, he felt a bit dazed. After all, not long ago, he was just a general practitioner stuck in a community hospital. Now, he was about to board a yacht heading towards the stars and the sea. How could such a transition not feel like a dream?

Standing next to Lu Zhiqing was the female bodyguard, Shen Mo. Today, Shen Mo was dressed as an innocuous tourist, wearing a T-shirt and shorts with her hair tied up, looking around thoughtfully.

Next were the two sailors, one of whom was Old Chen’s son, Chen Xinrui—a young college graduate.

However, from the few brief encounters Li Younan had with him, he could tell that this young man was very emotionally intelligent, adept, and not afraid of hard work.

He boarded the ship partly to follow his father, and he had straightforwardly told Li Younan: ”When I was younger, I didn’t study properly. I only knew how to skip classes and play online games all day and didn’t even get into a good college. Honestly, even though my dad is a chief engineer, he doesn’t have any resources to offer. Living off his earnings and inheritance would be too much of a burden on him. After thinking it over, I decided that following my dad and becoming an engineer myself could be a decent path.”

Li Younan very much appreciated his clarity and understanding.

Young people like him, with goals and ideas, would be motivated on the ship, would actively learn about the crew’s knowledge, and wouldn’t just sit idly by like mindless drones.

The other sailor was recommended by first officer Qin Yue to board the ship. A young reconnaissance soldier who had just completed his service and didn’t know what to do next, this opportunity came at just the right time for him.

His name was Xue Yong.

Two sailors were enough for this yacht.

The last crew member who wasn’t a guest was Ren Xiaohuan.

Compared to others who were brimming with confidence, Ren Xiaohuan was noticeably more nervous.

Even though she had already accompanied Li Younan several times before, and although Li Younan had explained her job responsibilities, she was still very nervous now that they were about to officially set sail.

She took a few deep breaths to calm her excited nerves.

Still, she was happy, no matter what.

Honestly, the work here was far simpler than she had imagined.

Back in the rural countryside, not only did she have to clean and cook, but she also had to feed pigs, raise ducks, and tend to chickens, all without making much money.

The previous job was provided by Li Younan, helping her grandparents run their guesthouse.

Here, the job assigned by Li Younan was just to do some cleaning. She didn’t even need to clean each person’s room; only the public areas needed cleaning, and they had an advanced scrubber to help with that.

More critically, Li Younan offered an astonishing salary of 8,000 yuan a month, along with social insurance.

She had never seen the sea before, nor had she thought that one day she could be sailing on it.

And now, all of this was happening for real.

Many times, Ren Xiaohuan felt like she was dreaming.

Standing at the end of the line were Jing Chaoyi and Liu Li.

These two young women were essentially guests on the yacht at this moment.

However, they boarded under the guise of being crew members because the regulations required that non-essential personnel were not allowed to participate in sea trials.

The trial regulations only allowed registered professionals to board.

Li Younan registered Liu Li’s position as a nurse.

Knowing that this was arranged by Li Younan to legitimize her presence on the ship, Liu Li couldn’t help but feel a bit shy—especially since Li Younan actually got her a nurse’s uniform.

In fact, a nurse at sea doesn’t need to wear the typical hospital nurse outfit, and Li Younan’s intentions were clear.

Jing Chaoyi’s position was in communications.

It’s worth mentioning that Jing Chaoyi, as an outstanding graduate from Jiaotong University, had taken the opportunity to obtain a Global Maritime Distress and Safety System certificate.

While her radio technology skills couldn’t compare to Li Younan’s, she was more than capable of operating some basic radio communication equipment.

With this, the full crew of the yacht was in place.

”Hey everyone, this is our yacht’s first official voyage at sea. Though it’s just a trial sail, our goal is to test the ship’s performance and to help everyone get accustomed to life and work on board in advance.”

Li Younan briefly motivated everyone and then let them return to their respective posts.

Although Li Younan was easy-going and was a popular internet celebrity, and although the main purpose of this ship was for travel, Li Younan shared good relations with each of the crew members.

However, this was still a proper vessel meant for oceanic voyages, so certain rules and hierarchy were necessary.

This matter was proposed and strictly enforced by first officer Qin Yue.

Having spent a long time in the military, he understood well that at sea, unforeseen circumstances might occur from time to time. While navigating coastal waters was relatively safer, once the ship headed towards the ocean, the crew could only rely on each other.

At such times, discipline was a key factor in overcoming challenges and harnessing the team’s capabilities.

Thus, certain necessary discipline drills were a must, in addition to which some hierarchical arrangements needed to seep into their daily lives subtly.

The first of these was the accommodation arrangement.
