Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Reaching the position in the cockpit, next to the helm, there were three large screens.

Li Younan pointed at the screen furthest to the side and said, ”This is the core control system of the whole ship, something I personally designed and built. Based on the control console of a research vessel, I wrote the program myself and designed the intelligent control module.”

Li Younan started to demonstrate to Gao Tiande: ”Look, here you can centrally control the entire ship’s power system, navigation, communication, water and electrical security, and all other equipment. Moreover, most parts of this ship are equipped with voice-activated intelligent scene controls, though only I can operate them.”

Gao Tiande gazed at the screen, hesitated momentarily before speaking, ”Even someone like me who is an outsider can understand this control panel. May I take a closer look?”

Li Younan nodded and gestured in a welcoming manner.

Gao Tiande clicked to enter the power system.

Li Younan explained, ”This ship has two main generators and two backup generators.”

”The main generator is the military-grade generator from the previous vessel, originally used to supply power to laboratory equipment, with a total power output reaching an astounding 600 kilowatts.”

”The ship has two sets of lithium iron phosphate storage batteries, with a total battery reserve of 600 kilowatt-hours. Additionally, the top layer has more than 30 square meters of military-grade flexible solar panels, with a power generation of up to 50 kilowatts.”

What Li Younan did not mention is that he also retained the military-grade distribution board from the research vessel and added a Huawei intelligent distribution module.

These designs were originally for ensuring power supply in extreme environments for research vessels, yet Li Younan is using this ship for a global voyage, making its performance redundant to the extreme.

Afterward, Gao Tiande went on to check the freshwater management system, navigation system, communication system, security, and emergency management systems.

It must be said, everything Gao Tiande could think of or not, was considered by Li Younan.

This ship, for its size, has almost achieved the pinnacle of perfection.

Finally, Gao Tiande couldn’t help but turn to Li Younan, ”Brother Younan, is your yacht for sale?”

Li Younan was momentarily dumbfounded and replied indignantly, ”Brother Gao, I devoted so much time and energy into this ship, was it meant for selling?”

Gao Tiande laughed heartily, ”I’ve really taken a fancy to your ship. If you’re willing, sell it to me when you get tired of it. I’ll pay a high price.”

Li Younan said, ”If you like it, Brother Gao, why not build a ship like mine yourself?”

Gao Tiande shook his head, ”A military-grade research vessel isn’t something a regular person can acquire. I’m actually quite curious about how you got the scientific research unit to give you this ship.”

Li Younan’s eyes flickered briefly, but he merely smiled silently without answering.

He had reasons for acquiring this research vessel as a prototype for modifications.

Generally speaking, such military-grade research vessels circulate only within institutional units, but he succeeded in obtaining this ship largely due to his current influence.

In a sense, he has become a sort of business card that China showcases to the world.

Moreover, Li Younan’s expertise in the biological field is acknowledged by esteemed figures within the circle.

From previous communications, the authorities seemed quite pleased with the idea of him remodeling the ship for worldwide roaming.

This indeed brings some covert advantages, granting special permissions in many places, such as passage rights in certain maritime territories, landing rights on unopened islands, and exploration rights in deep-sea research areas.

Having toured Li Younan’s ship, Gao Tiande was satisfied as he disembarked.

And after the launch ceremony, there was, in fact, still some time before the official voyage.

On one hand, they need to replenish resources; a yacht of this size requires over 20 hours just for refueling and water supply.

However, the major time-consuming process was freshwater replenishment.

In fact, aboard Li Younan’s ship is an RO reverse osmosis seawater desalination device, capable of producing around 8 tons of freshwater daily, with a daily power consumption of over 20 kilowatt-hours.

If necessary, filling half the water tanks while relying on solar panels for power can slowly replenish the freshwater tanks.

In theory, as long as there’s sunlight, they won’t lack freshwater.

people can’t possibly consume eight tons of water in a single day of normal living.

Next comes the last and most important step before a yacht’s official departure – the sea trial.

Li Younan will bring his crew and launch its first voyage.

Two days later, Li Younan had already prepared for the trial run, and as he was notifying everyone to board, Liu Li suddenly approached him, appearing hesitant.

Li Younan asked curiously, ”What’s up?”

Sister Long hesitated before mumbling, ”I, I want you to bring another person onboard...”

Li Younan raised his eyebrow slightly, ”Hmm, tell me who it is first.”

”It’s... it’s Senior Sister Jing...”

Liu Li knew that the crew slots had already been finalized, so she was somewhat embarrassed to disrupt Li Younan’s arrangements.

But she also had reasons that couldn’t be ignored.

Li Younan paused for a moment, his expression a little peculiar, as he pondered, ”You want to bring Jing Chaoyi onboard, why?”

Li Younan didn’t mind hosting another guest on his yacht, after all, he still had four guest rooms available.

Seeing Li Younan’s curious gaze, Liu Li hesitated before slowly opening up...
