Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

”Without those beautiful images to present, photographers are like cooks without rice; it’s hard to cook without ingredients.”

Li Younan thought for a moment and said, ”I have a slightly different view from yours.”

”When shooting scenery, as long as you’re willing, there’s always an image worth capturing at any time and place; and when shooting portraits, everyone has a sense of story because everyone is the protagonist in their own life. How could a protagonist not have a story? As long as there’s a story, it can be discovered.”

After a pause, Li Younan smiled again, ”So... actually, shooting these photos isn’t really difficult.”

That was his genuine feeling. When tasked to complete his assignment in Rikaze, with such a short time to shoot so many master-level photos, Li Younan was mostly rushing for quantity.

During that time, there were indeed some photos that didn’t meet the system’s standards for a master-level photographic work.

So, he actually felt somewhat helpless back then.

Fortunately, with Level 3 photography skills, he could effortlessly take master-level photos, so in terms of the experience of taking these pictures, it wasn’t hard at all.

How to describe this feeling...

It’s gotten to the point where he can hardly take normal photos anymore.

Even casually giving him a phone, in any ordinary setting, he can quickly follow his inspiration, sharply capturing flashes of composition and light in mundane scenes, as naturally as breathing.

Upon hearing Li Younan say that taking these photos wasn’t difficult, Lu Ye couldn’t help but twitch the corner of his lips slightly.

Li Younan’s expression was really too calm; if someone else said such things, even someone who has taken master-level photos, others would doubt they were being pretentious.

But when Li Younan said it, it didn’t give off that feeling at all.

It’s like if you occasionally get first place in class and say, ”It doesn’t seem that hard to be first,” people would think you’re showing off; but if you get first every time and your scores always far exceed the second place, then when you say that, others would see it as your norm.

With some reluctance, Lu Ye put down the photos, suddenly inspired, and asked, ”How do you plan to set up your photography exhibition?”

Li Younan pondered, his idea was to set up the exhibition based on the original conditions without changing the layout of the inns and other aspects.

Calling it a photography exhibition is really just re-decorating the inn with photos.

His eyes swept across the locations of the lobby walls and hallways, and ideas were already forming in his mind.

...

The custom-made framing materials have all arrived, and the next step is to frame and laminate all the photographs, which isn’t a small job either, given there are nearly a hundred photographs.

Lu Ye also joined in to help, spending an afternoon with a few others mounting all the photos, and then they first arranged them on the lobby walls.

The inn already had spotlights and such lighting fixtures.

Previously, when Jing Chaoyi was renovating the inn, she did have some artistic young ideas and designs, installing spotlights then, which can now be used.

After the rearrangement, the inn completely transformed into a new style.

Curiously, Lu Ye asked, ”How did you consider the theme for this photography exhibition?”

Li Younan thought for a moment and said, ”Theme...

Suddenly, Li Younan’s eyes lit up, ”Let’s call it ’The Versatile Traveler’!”

”The Versatile Traveler?”

”Hehe...”

...

Ninety-something photos sound like a lot, but once framed, it’s actually not that much.

Upon finishing the layout of the first-floor lobby, they had even barely started on the hallway when they ran out.

Li Younan didn’t mind at all; in fact, he thought leaving some space was good, since he’s not going to stop taking pictures in the future.

Life had just begun, and there are many places he hasn’t visited, many spots he hasn’t photographed. The photos he will take in the future can just fill them in here.

While Li Younan wasn’t like Lu Ye, eager for more people to see his photos, he wasn’t someone who just appreciates his own work; having a place to display his photos felt good.

After helping complete the inn’s setup, Lu Ye couldn’t wait to start calling people.

For him, such good photographs shouldn’t be buried in such a small corner; he restrained his inner excitement and eagerness, making phone calls to a few friends.

The first call he made was to a well-known photographer in Italy, a friend he met during his world travels. After a bit of chatter, the other party immediately said they’d buy a ticket to Shanghai the next day.

His second call was to the old professor who taught him photography in college.

So, under Lu Ye’s strong photography network, many people found out about Li Younan’s photography exhibition right away.

Among these people, some naturally knew Li Younan.

Even though Li Younan is a super online celebrity, just like how most people don’t know Lan Zhanfei, the chances of encountering someone who knows him personally are still relatively small.
