Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

During this period, Liu Li and Jing Chaoyi have been getting along really well.

Whether it’s running this small guesthouse with Jing Chaoyi or her taking me to Li Younan’s alma mater to sit in on lectures and experience university life.

I must say, attending college is really interesting. Although it’s a bit unrealistic for Liu Li to take the college entrance exam again right now, making it hard to officially enter university through regular channels, spending a few months attending fascinating lectures and experiencing the university atmosphere kind of fulfills her dream.

In fact, Liu Li was quite nervous before starting this process.

After all, to be strict, she only has a junior high education.

Though she’s always been learning at home, so she isn’t completely clueless, but if she suddenly enters a top prestigious school and wanders around like a headless chicken, that’s definitely not going to work.

Taking the first step became a problem.

However, Jing Chaoyi patiently guided her through this process. Even when encountering some common knowledge for college students, Liu Li’s naive questions would be patiently answered, helping her get through the initially awkward period and gradually integrating into college life.

So this time, Liu Li hopes to bring Jing Chaoyi onboard, and there are actually two reasons for this.

The first reason is she feels that with Jing Chaoyi, she has a female partner, and they can enjoy themselves more.

But this isn’t the primary reason.

The main reason is she feels somewhat sorry for Jing Chaoyi.

Unlike Li Younan, although Li Younan has known Jing Chaoyi longer, overall, Li Younan doesn’t understand Jing Chaoyi, in this Liu Li is very confident.

During the time spent with Jing Chaoyi, Liu Li gradually discovered many of Jing Chaoyi’s secrets.

Jing Chaoyi is a cheerful, innocent girl with a great personality, but she is actually very lonely.

Throughout this period, Liu Li didn’t even notice if Jing Chaoyi had any other friends besides her and Li Younan.

If she and Li Younan didn’t happen to come to Shanghai because of their boat-building, Jing Chaoyi’s daily routine would probably be tidying up the guesthouse that doesn’t have many people, then sitting idle in the courtyard all morning, or entertaining herself with skateboarding and rollerskating, possibly having two unlucky falls in the process...

Senior Jing Chaoyi’s skateboarding skills aren’t very good; she often falls.

When they skate together, if she falls, they just laugh. But if she’s alone... She probably cries?

That’s how she’s spent a lot of time.

Her mother and father are both very individualistic people.

Especially her father, his style of doing things is quite astonishing.

But to be fair, her dad is indeed very handsome, even as a middle-aged man, he’s still very charming.

But Jing Chaoyi really can’t live with her father—just think about it, among his girlfriends, there are even ones younger than her; no matter how good her temper, how could she stand it?

And her mother is also very busy.

Think about it, although she lacks parents, she has a brother who cares for her and Li Younan, so... she feels she is lucky. At least she is happy now.

In contrast, Jing Chaoyi has her parents alive, but she’s not receiving much care and love, spending every day alone.

Actually, Liu Li is well aware, Jing Chaoyi seems like a girl without much aggression, but inside she’s extremely proud.

Jing Chaoyi has very high standards for becoming friends.

It’s not that she must be friends with very powerful people; she’s always in search of those whose spirits can resonate with her, a type of person that’s extremely hard to find among the sea of people.

If she can’t find them, she’d rather be alone.

If she and Li Younan head out to sea, then Jing Chaoyi will quickly return to a life alone.

While the strong-minded Jing Chaoyi won’t feel painful because of it, she’ll probably still smile, wake up and check the cleanliness done by the staff, and if there’s nothing to do, just stroll alone around the island.

The weather had gradually turned cold, and many parts of Hengsha Island appeared somewhat bleak.

She’d leisurely keep walking, and when tired, she’d stroll back.

Perhaps because she’s too lazy to skate in the bulky down jacket, she’d grab a deck chair, pick a nice day, and sit at the door sunbathing.

But most of the time, it probably won’t be like this.

Because Shanghai in winter is mostly cloudy and very windy.

Thinking about that image makes Liu Li feel a bit sad.

So, that’s why Liu Li hopes Li Younan can bring Jing Chaoyi along.

Liu Li looked up, her gaze landing on Li Younan, and said, ”I like being with the senior.”

Li Younan’s expression was a bit weird, he asked, ”Does she want to go?”

Liu Li replied with confidence, ”Don’t worry, I can surely persuade her, as long as you don’t oppose it.”

Li Younan shrugged and said, ”What’s to oppose? There’s still so many vacant spots on the boat.”

He thought to himself, who said girls can’t have genuine friendships? Liu Li and Jing Chaoyi really get along well.

Finding a companion for Liu Li, Li Younan is certainly pleased too; some companionship is irreplaceable by a boyfriend.

That’s great.

Then Liu Li went to find Jing Chaoyi.
