Chaotic Sword God

Just like that, Jian Chen worked with the Thousand Soul Demon Exalt and began harvesting medicinal gardens after medicinal gardens fearlessly in the Sksycraping World.

Each medicinal garden varied in scale. Some only had a few hundred heavenly resources, while others had upwards of the tens of thousands.

Without any exception, none of the heavenly resources in these medicinal gardens were of low quality. Basically all of them had reached God Tier. There were only a handful that remained below God Tier.

As a result, after emptying out several medicinal gardens, the Primeval Divine Hall had suddenly gained several tens of thousand heavenly resources. Jian Chen had completely replenished his supply of resources that he used on the Divine Formation of the Heavens.

However, Jian Chen did not choose to nurture these heavenly resources. Instead, he stored them in jade boxes, planning on using them directly when required.

He had no other choice but to do this because he would not have enough resources and spiritual Qi to sustain and nurture all of these resources.

At the same time, in another region of the Skyscraping World, Xing Caijian stood before a small medicinal garden. As she looked at the several hundred heavenly resources that flourished there, she could not help but let out a sigh. She seemed to be filled with a sense of helplessness.

Shortly afterwards, she swung her hand gently. Jade boxes after jade boxes flew out from her Space Ring, arranging themselves neatly before her.

She extended her finger gently. Several strands of sword Qi immediately flew out into the medicinal garden. Each heavenly resource was uprooted, placed into the jade boxes tidily under the control of the senses of her soul.

Before long, several hundred heavenly resources had been sent into the jade boxes quietly.

“How tiresome. If I could destroy the entire medicinal garden in one fell stroke, that would save so much trouble…” After dealing with several medicinal gardens, Xing Caijian finally felt a little impatient. She could not help but complain.

However, when she considered his identity as the successor of the twin swords, she could only bear with it.

At this moment, Xing Caijian seemed to sense something. She looked ahead.

Several kilometres away, three figures travelled by levitating slightly off from the ground.

The person at the front was a middle-aged man in white robes. He gave off a righteous presence and a sagely bearing. He was a Fourth Heavenly Layer Immortal Emperor.

Two beautiful women followed behind him. They seemed to be in their twenties, and they were both Immortal Monarchs.

“Great elder, we’ve already spent several decades searching through the Skyscraping World, yet we haven’t even found a trace of the Fallen Sword Flower. Sigh, I’m really worried that we won’t be able to complete the ancestor’s mission.” One of the Immortal Monarch women sighed in concern.

“Don’t worry. We still have ample time. We’ll carry out a fine search of the entire Skyscraping World. I refuse to believe we won’t be able to find a Fallen Sword Flower,” said the middle-aged man.

“Actually, it’s not that we can’t find any Fallen Sword Flowers, but they are all inside the medicinal gardens of peak organisations. They are beyond our reach.” The other woman sighed gently.

But as soon as they said that, the three of them stopped at the same time. Their eyes narrowed in surprise.

Before the three of them was a ruined medicinal garden. All of the heavenly resources there had been uprooted, forming ditches of various sizes in the ground.

From this, they had clearly realised that someone had forcefully destroyed a medicinal garden run by a peak organisation.

Situations like this were extremely rare in the Skyscraping World.

All peak organisations capable of starting up a medicinal garden in the Skyscraping World would set up very powerful formations. They could not be destroyed by regular Immortal Exalts.

On top of that, there was an extremely limited number of Immortal Exalts that entered the Immortals’ World each time. Most of them were early Immortal Exalts as well. It was anything but easy for them to destroy these formations with their strength.

“You want a Fallen Sword Flower?” At this moment, a clear and cold voice rang out.

The three of them followed the voice and looked over. A woman stood gracefully several dozen kilometres away. She seemed to be in her twenties and possessed alluring beauty, but she gave off a sense of coldness and pride. She seemed a little unapproachable.

The three of them clearly recognised the woman. As soon as they saw her, they shuddered inside and immediately demonstrated respect, bowing politely.

“I am a great elder of the Cloud sect, Yun Yingshi. Beside me are two elders, Yun Lianzi and Yun Liansu. Greetings, your highness!”

The lady was the daughter of the Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor, Xing Caijian!

“I just happen to have a Fallen Sword Flower here. Would you like it?” Xing Caijian opened her hand, and a metre-long heavenly resource appeared. It was a Fallen Sword Flower that great elder Yun Yingshi had been searching for.

Looking at the Fallen Sword Flower in Xing Caijian’s hands, Yun Yingshi’s breathing immediately became ragged. His gaze paused on the Fallen Sword Flower for a split second before he sighed. “I would never covet the possession of your highness. However, our Cloud sect is indeed in desperate need of a Fallen Sword Flower!”

“Since you want it, I can give it to you, but the three of you will have to help me with some matters,” Xing Caijian said seriously.

“How can the likes of us achieve something that even your highness cannot?” Yun Yingshi smiled wryly.

“You don’t have to worry about that. My task for you is very simple. You only have to pick heavenly resources for me. I can’t be bothered with it myself,” said Xing Caijian.

“Just picking heavenly resources? Is it really that simple?” The great elder from the Cloud sect was doubtful.

“Of course. Am I supposed to lie to you with my identity?”

Just like that, Xing Caijian temporarily hired three people from the Cloud sect with a single Fallen Sword Flower. Afterwards, the three of them followed behind Xing Caijian as they ventured through the Skyscraping World.

“Your highness, there’s a heavenly resource here!” Along the way, they encountered a low grade God Tier heavenly resource. Yun Liansu was just about to go and pick it.

“Don’t waste your time here. These aren’t the heavenly resources that I want you to pick.” Xing Caijian’s disdainful voice rang out, which immediately made Yun Liansu return awkwardly.

At the same time, it left the three people from the Cloud sect even more confused.

“What exactly are the heavenly resources that she wants us to pick? Don’t tell me…” The three of them all had their guesses, but very soon, they thought of the ruined medicinal garden from earlier. They all shuddered inside. An unbelievable thought filled their minds.

Before long, the believable thought came true. An extremely large medicinal garden appeared before the four of them. It shimmered with hazy light. The spiritual Qi turned into thick mist; it was so thick that visibility was severely limited.

This was a medicinal garden run by a rather renowned peak organisation in the Immortals’ World. There were over twenty thousand heavenly resources growing inside. No one dared to covet this place.

In the next moment, the pressure of a sovereign god artifact emanated out with a flash, striking the formation. It created a devastating glow that seemed capable of breaking apart the ways. The formation immediately shattered like glass.

“Who dares to touch our Daoist Sect of Heaven’s Inheritance’s medicinal garden!?” When the formation shattered, a resonant voice rang out. A colossal figure appeared in the centre of the medicinal garden, radiating with tremendous pressure.

Despite only being the wisp of a soul, it was possible to tell from the pressure that they were a late Immortal Exalt!

“The Daoist Sect of Heaven’s Inheritance. This is actually the Daoist Sect of Heaven’s Inheritance’s medicinal garden…” The three people from the Cloud sect were all dumbfounded. They also came from a peak organisation with Immortal Exalt ancestors.

But even to them, the Daoist Sect of Heaven’s Inheritance was a supreme existence well beyond their reach!

“Xing Caijian of the Heavenly Star Palace!” Xing Caijian held the Divine Sword of the Heavenly Star in her arms with no fear.
