Chaotic Sword God

“As a representative of the Sword Sect of Yang Soul, I thank fellow Profound Spirit for your sacrifice. Once we leave the Skyscraping World, I will definitely visit with rich gifts in thanks!” The Heavenloss Master was in high spirits. His face was filled with undisguised pride and arrogance. However, he did not become complacent, still clasping his fist and thanking him modestly.

“Hahahaha, our Heavenly Palace of Scaling Heights will definitely welcome you at any time. We will receive you with the force of the entire sect.” The Profound Spirit Master laughed aloud. In the past, there was no reason for their Heavenly Palace of Scaling Heights to treat the Sword Sect of Yang Soul like this. After all, the Sword Sect of Yang Soul was weaker than the Heavenly Palace of Scaling Heights, and also far too distant. They never really had any contact.

But it was different now. The Sword Sect of Yang Soul had forged a tie with the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance, which forced them to change how they treated the Sword Sect of Yang Soul.

Regardless of whether the Immortal Exalts present actually knew each other or not, they all reached an oddly-uniform agreement. They all expressed their salutations for the Heavenloss Master.

Everyone had given up on competing for the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing.

The Heavenloss Master was in a fantastic mood. He smiled from ear to ear, thanking every single person politely. Shortly afterwards, he turned his attention to the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing in the sword pool and said, “Actually, our Sword Sect of Yang Soul doesn’t want this Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing for ourselves. We want to offer it up to the elder princess!”

When they heard the elder princess, all of the Immortal Exalts present gasped. Their hearts skipped a beat.

Very clearly, the words “elder princess” possessed extremely great power over everyone present, where just hearing her name would strike fear into their hearts.

“With the elder princess’s status, very few items in the world can still interest her. Even high grade God Tier heavenly resources are useless. Although the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing here is a high grade God Tier heavenly resource, it’s just too rare, which is why it would serve as the best present,” the Heavenloss Master continued. He was in a great mood.

It was as if being able to approach the elder princess was something of utmost glory, something that could even make Immortal Exalt ancestors feel proud.

“So this item is for the elder princess…”

“Since this is for the elder princess, wouldn’t we be stealing from the elder princess if we try to take it for ourselves?”

“The elder princess’s influence in the Immortals’ World has probably already surpassed the Immortal Sect of Myriad Swords. With that, even the people who want to give this item to the Immortal Sect of Myriad Swords should completely give up on too.”

Many of the Immortal Exalts sighed inside. Since the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing would be connected to the elder princess, it had become a very touchy object. No one could afford to lay a finger on it.

That was because the elder princess was different from the Immortal Sect of Myriad Swords. If this item was offered to the Immortal Sect of Myriad Swords, the Immortal Sect of Myriad Swords would definitely welcome them warmly, as they were in desperate need of Spiritual Fruits of Sword Nurturing. Basically whenever a battle over Spiritual Fruits of Sword Nurturing occurred outside, there would be numerous disciples of the Immortal Sect of Myriad Swords involved.

However, not everyone could give gifts to the elder princess. They needed to have a certain level of connection to her.

“The Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing should go to the Sword Sect of Yang Soul. I’ll be the last person to spare anyone who tried to steal it.” The Seven Antelope Ancestor adjusted his mind state quickly.

“Before the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing is picked by fellow Heavenloss, our Heavenly Palace of Scaling Heights will also do everything we can to watch over this place, just in case any other person tries to destroy the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing.” The Profound Spirit Master from the Heavenly Palace of Scaling Heights chuckled.

The Scarlet Fire Immortal Exalt and the Black Wind Immortal Exalt who stood by his side had mixed feelings. They glanced at the Heavenloss Master from time to time. They were filled with envy.

In order to forge a connection with the Heavenly Palace of Scaling Heights, the two of them had already racked their brains. They even followed the Profound Spirit Master like servants in the Skyscraping World.

Yet in the end, a great-grandson of the Heavenloss Master had married the fifth princess of the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance. Suddenly, they had become an organisation that even the Heavenly Palace of Scaling Heights was afraid to provoke.

Comparing all of this, the Scarlet Fire Immortal Exalt and the Black Wind Immortal Exalt were filled with a multitude of feelings.

Immortal Exalt Tan Yu in the crowd sighed to himself as well. The sword spirit in his god artifact constantly transmitted its desires over to him, but how could he have the courage to contend for it?

Immortal Exalt Tan Yu did not leave either, remaining right by the sword pool without budging just like everyone else, trying to use this opportunity to create a good impression with the Sword Sect of Yang Soul.

During the next few days, a few more Immortal Exalts arrived here, but when they learnt about the relationship between the Sword Sect of Yang Soul and the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance, they immediately dismissed their desires for the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing. They either left or stayed behind to help the Sword Sect of Yang Soul guard the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing until it ripened.

All was calm.

The Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing spent almost half a month breaking through. Finally, the surging spiritual Qi in the sword pool began to settle down. The Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing that had been cloaked in thick mist was clearly presented before everyone.

Its external appearance did not change. The only difference was it had reached a higher grade, which made it shine brightly.

The Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing had completed its growth process! It had formally reached the eighth grade!

“The Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing is already ripe. Everyone, we will remove the formations so that the Heavenloss Master can harvest it,” the Profound Spirit Master said. Shortly afterwards, with a flip of his hand, the net around the sword pool was removed.

With that, the other Immortal Exalts all began to remove their powers as well.

As the various energy barriers that had been cast around the sword pool vanished, the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing was exposed before everyone defencelessly.

But now, no one dared to fight for it any more.

“Heavenloss Master, please go for it!” The Profound Spirit Master made an inviting gesture to the Heavenloss Master. He was extremely polite.

Looking at the surrounding leaders of sects who clearly desired the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing yet lacked the courage, the Heavenloss Master was immediately filled with a great sense of pride. He smiled resplendently, tidying his clothes without any urgency. Then he took out some spiritual fluid from his Space Ring to wash his hands as if he was afraid that the grime on his hands would dirty the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing.

He did this all very slowly and thoroughly as if he enjoyed this feeling of veneration very much. After all, the people who gathered here were not nobodies. There were even ancestors of sects that were stronger than him.

Only after completing all that did the Heavenloss Master take out a delicate jade box. Then he slowly approached the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing.

However, right when the Heavenloss Master was about to pick the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing, an armoured hand silently extended out with a ripple of the Laws of Space. It picked the Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing with lightning speed before the Heavenloss Master could before instantly vanishing again.

From beginning to end, it did not give off any presence. Despite all the Immortal Exalts gathered here, none of them sensed anyone hidden away in the shadows.

The Spiritual Fruit of Sword Nurturing had already vanished from the sword pool. Meanwhile, the Heavenloss Master was left stunned with his arm half extended as if he had never anticipated that someone would be so bold that they would steal a gift for the elder princess.

“Who is it!? Get out here right now!” The Profound Spirit Master was the first to react. With a bellow, his pressure as a Fourth Heavenly Layer Immortal Exalt swept out, directly striking the space with his hand. He stirred up a terrifying storm of energy in the cave.

The Immortal Exalts in the surroundings all used their energy to fend off the pressure. Some First Heavenly Layer and Second Heavenly Layer Immortal Exalts stumbled back uncontrollably.

A grunt rang out from the space there. As the space twisted violently, a figure clad in armour appeared. The armour wrapped around him firmly, with just a pair of eyes exposed.

“It’s you!” Seeing who it was, the Seven Antelope Ancestor’s anger immediately surged. He had already recognised him as the Immortal Emperor who had intercepted him at the entrance.
