I Married the President

Chapter 358: Chapter 358: Thinking of You

With this in mind, Claire Sinclair forced herself to focus, sketching the man’s face stroke by stroke until it gradually took shape.

The moment the fiendishly handsome man’s face appeared on the paper, Adrian Quincy’s cold eyes narrowed. ”Red J, the owner of Wild Cherry House,” he said in a low voice. ”No wonder there’s been no sign of him for the past few years. So he’s snuck into our country.”

”What’s Wild Cherry House?” Claire Sinclair couldn’t help but ask.

”They’re a group of dangerous individuals who emerged ten years ago. Their movements are unpredictable, and to this day, no authority has been able to stop them. No one knows what their plot is.”

”How terrifying...” An indescribable feeling welled up inside Claire Sinclair.

’To think I saved someone like that when I was a child. If I had known he would grow up to be such a cold-blooded killer, I never would have saved him!’

”Claire, I can give you all the space you need to do what you love. The only condition is that you ensure your own safety. Don’t make me worry.”

”I know. From now on, if I have to do anything really important, I’ll tell you first.”

Adrian Quincy lowered his head and kissed her cheek. ”Are you hungry?”

”Uh... I’m starving!” Claire Sinclair had just remembered she hadn’t eaten all day. She really was hungry.

The two of them left the office and headed straight for the official residence’s dining hall.

-

「That night.」

Claire Sinclair waited until after eight o’clock before The Great Demon King Quincy finally finished work. She joined him in his discreet, private car, ready to head back to Evergreen Garden.

As the black sedan drove into Evergreen Garden, Ethan Kingsley, who was parked temporarily on the side of the road, slowly rolled down his window. His gaze fell on the car’s license plate.

The corner of Ethan Kingsley’s mouth curved into a wicked, knowing smirk.

’Adrian Quincy is indeed a perfect man. There’s almost no one in the world who could find a weakness in him. But that was before.’

’Now, the man has a fatal weakness...’

’Claire Sinclair, you truly didn’t disappoint me.’

-

Upon returning to Evergreen Garden, all Claire Sinclair wanted to do was go upstairs, wash up, and go to sleep.

But unexpectedly, the moment The Great Demon King Quincy stepped inside, he pinned her against the wall.

Claire Sinclair pressed her small hands against his arm and tried to push him away, snapping irritably, ”What do you think you’re doing?”

A soft, doting look veiled The Great Demon King Quincy’s eyes. His voice was hoarse with restraint. ”Claire, I’ve missed you so much. Didn’t you miss me?”

Claire Sinclair hesitated, not daring to say that she had. She could see the mischievous glint in his eyes. ”I...”

The Great Demon King Quincy raised an eyebrow. ”Claire?”

Claire Sinclair nodded tentatively. ”I did. A lot.”

The Great Demon King Quincy’s lips curved into a smile. He leaned in close and whispered something in her ear.

Claire Sinclair’s face flushed. ”I don’t even want to talk to you anymore,” she huffed.

”Really?”

”Of course not. Let’s go to our room.”

...

「Afterward.」

Surprisingly, Claire Sinclair felt wide awake. Lying in bed, she just couldn’t fall asleep.

Seeing she was awake, Adrian Quincy stayed up with her.

”Claire, what are you thinking about?”

”About you.”

”Really?”

”Mhm,” Claire Sinclair nodded, a hint of shyness in her eyes.

Her sweet words made Adrian Quincy’s heart melt. ”I’m so honored to have all of your love.”

Claire Sinclair was confused. ”What do you mean, ’all of your love’?”

Adrian Quincy slowly leaned toward her ear, his voice captivating. ”The love I want is the place you’ve given me in your heart. Thank you for loving me.”

”I’m discovering you’re not just good with your dark, twisted advice, your sweet talk is also incredibly cheesy.”

”If you don’t like hearing it, I can stop.”

”No, I like it.” Claire Sinclair rolled over and propped her head on her hand, looking down at him. ”But there is something I need to tell you.”
