I Married the President

Chapter 357: Chapter 357: Don’t Meet Netizens Alone

Adrian Quincy coaxed her gently, ”Claire, I know you’re very clever with this sort of thing, but I don’t want you taking any risks for me. Just stay safe, be a journalist—a warrior for peace in a peaceful era. That’s more than enough.”

’So to him, a journalist is a warrior for peace in a peaceful era...’

’Does that mean I’m already a warrior in his eyes?’

Claire Sinclair’s heart fluttered with joy at the thought. An irrepressible smile touched her lips, and her complaint came out sugar-sweet. ”I mean, not only did I save you today, but I also saved a baby. And instead of praising me, you want to confiscate my tools? Is this any way to treat your hero?”

”What do you want? I can satisfy you.”

”I want you.”

”Right now?”

Claire Sinclair’s face flushed, and she quickly corrected herself. ”Not *want* you, I mean I want you to spend time with me. Even if it’s not for a whole day, an hour would be great.”

”In bed?” Adrian Quincy teased deliberately.

Claire Sinclair rolled her eyes at him. ”I’m not talking to you anymore...”

”Claire.” Adrian Quincy took her hand and pulled her into his embrace, whispering in her ear, ”I’ll come home and sleep with you tonight, hmm?”

”Okay...” ’I have no self-control!’

Adrian Quincy took her hand, moving to take the watch from her wrist.

Claire Sinclair struggled, twisting her wrist. ”I worked so hard to modify this! What are you taking it for?”

”A chip this good is wasted as just an alarm. I’ll have my people modify it for you.”

”Modify it how?” Claire Sinclair’s interest was piqued, and she let him take off the watch.

Adrian Quincy said nonchalantly, ”First, we’ll install a tracking system, just in case you get lost again.”

Claire Sinclair: ”...”

’Can I refuse?’

Adrian Quincy took the watch and had Aiden Howkins take it away, along with her laptop and the other backup watch.

Claire Sinclair watched helplessly as her precious treasures were sent to the ”operating room” once again. Her heart ached, and she had no idea when she would get them back.

Adrian Quincy sat her down in a chair and then took the seat opposite her. ”Claire, who sold you this chip?”

”Someone I met online.”

”Don’t go meet people from the internet by yourself again.”

”Yes!” ’I wouldn’t be caught dead doing that again!’

She’d met some random guy online, and he’d turned out to be a terrorist. How could Claire Sinclair dare to be so reckless again?

Adrian Quincy asked again, ”How much do you know about this person you met online?”

”I only know his name is Orion Osborne. I don’t know anything else. The rest of what I know about him is all from what I saw on the surveillance footage... that he’s a terrorist.”

”This man is very dangerous. Can you draw what he looks like?”

”Uhm...” Claire Sinclair paused. Although she had a knack for selectively remembering things, drawing him from memory would be difficult.

”If you can’t, I’ll call in a sketch artist.”

”I’ll give it a try.” Claire Sinclair had a hard time describing people’s appearances verbally; it was better to try drawing him from memory.

Adrian Quincy had someone bring paper and a pen and handed them to Claire Sinclair.

Claire Sinclair closed her eyes, recalling his face for a moment before she began to draw.

As for Orion Osborne, ever since she saw him about to shoot that baby boy, she’d felt a strong sense of revulsion toward him, tinged with a flicker of fear.

Even though he hadn’t fired in the end, she was certain that in that moment, he had fully intended to kill the baby.

She would never, ever have anything to do with such an inhuman man again.

’Anyone who breaks the law must face its judgment!’
