BTTH: Rebirth of Liu Xi

Liu Xi’s voice wasn’t loud, yet it struck everyone’s hearts like a thunderclap. For a moment, all stood dumbfounded—even Maha Tian himself froze.

He was the Clan Leader of the Ancient Maha Clan, blessed with unparalleled talent and near-limitless potential, a man who needed only the smallest opportunity to ascend to the Saint Grade Heavenly Sovereign realm.

His clan stood among the pinnacles of the Great Thousand World. Within the Maha Clan dwelled a Saint Grade ancestor, the legendary Saint Artifact Yin-Yang Maha Gourd, and one of the thirty-six peerless Divine Abilities known as Great Maha Tribulations. Moreover, his Celestial Body—the Mighty Maha Body—ranked eighth on the Sovereign Celestial Body List.

Who would dare show him disrespect?

Were it not for Liu Xi’s strength and immense reputation, Maha Tian would’ve already had him seized long ago for his alchemical talents.

And yet—someone dared to tell him to get lost.

”Presumptuous!” shouted a young man who resembled Maha Tian, fury blazing on his face.

Maha Tian raised his hand to stop him. His handsome features darkened, his expression growing cold and menacing.

”Brother!” the young man—Maha You, Maha Tian’s younger sibling and a Spiritual Grade Heavenly Sovereign—stepped forward.

A terrifying aura rippled through the void. Space itself began to tremble as black and white energies surged, twisting the heavens into dual tones of shadow and light. The vast black-white storm swirled violently—the oppressive power of a quasi–Saint Grade Heavenly Sovereign.

Maha Tian’s voice was indifferent and sharp. ”It seems you have no intention of settling this peacefully. Very well—I’ll deliver justice for the Fire Spirit Clan, and suppress you to atone for your crimes!”

Liu Xi remained calm, his expression composed. He didn’t even bother to take Maha Tian seriously. Once, he might have shown some caution toward the Maha Clan leader—but now?

He was nothing more than a loud braggart trying to make a name for himself.

”Master Qing Lian…” Qin Tian hesitated. He, too, disliked Maha Tian immensely, but given the man’s status, he said softly, ”Try not to go too far. Don’t kill him.”

Liu Xi turned and smiled, nodding once.

”Alright.”

”How arrogant!” Maha Tian’s voice dropped to a cold growl as boundless black and white Spiritual Energy erupted from his body, spreading in every direction.

A colossal figure tens of thousands of meters tall took form—a black-and-white giant towering over heaven and earth. The tangible pressure it emitted made space itself groan.

”Mighty Maha Body!”

The Maha Clan members quickly retreated, faces lit with fanatical devotion. To them, Maha Tian was the greatest genius of their clan in a millennium—destined to lead them to new heights.

Liu Xi, however, only smiled faintly. Facing the immense Celestial Body, he slowly raised one hand. A terrifying storm of Chaotic Spiritual Energy erupted around him, coalescing into a vast ancient aura.

A titanic hand—tens of thousands of meters across—formed in the sky, exuding the eternal, indestructible might of chaos.

When Liu Xi’s palm dropped, the celestial hand followed, crashing downward with unstoppable force.

Maha Tian’s face changed drastically. What seemed a casual strike from Liu Xi magnified endlessly in his vision, and a chilling sense of death flooded his heart.

”Impossible!”

His eyes widened with disbelief. Such power—this was something only a Primordial Celestial Body could unleash!

The Primordial Celestial Bodies were born at the dawn of creation, ten in total, each formed by the purest forces of heaven and earth. They possessed the very essence of the Great Thousand World’s origin—utterly unmatched by any later Celestial Body.

Five had been destroyed in the ancient wars against the extraterrestrial invaders. The remaining five were now controlled by the five Ancient Clans.

Liu Xi’s Celestial Body, though not primordial, radiated power that could rival one. That was something Maha Tian could hardly comprehend—yet he had no time to think.

”Great Maha Tribulation!”

Endless Spiritual Energy burst from the Mighty Maha Body, transforming into dense storm clouds of black and white that blanketed the heavens.

An indescribable pressure enveloped the world, shaking the heavens themselves.

Rumble!

The swirling clouds condensed into a titanic black-and-white tornado. Within it, destructive lightning roared, and wherever it passed, existence itself was reduced to nothingness.

Even space began to tear apart.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

The colossal chaotic hand plunged into the storm. The howling destruction struck it furiously—yet under countless watching eyes, the giant hand surrounded by eternal chaotic aura remained untouched.

The storm could not even slow it.

Boom!

The Mighty Maha Body—the 8th-ranked Celestial Body on the Sovereign Celestial Body Ranking—shattered completely beneath the descending hand. A massive shockwave erupted, ripping space apart and tearing the land to pieces.

When the energy subsided, Maha Tian’s life or death was unknown.

Liu Xi’s Azure Lotus Undying Body, forged from the power of countless divine flames, could already rival the top ten Celestial Bodies. Now, after being tempered by Chaotic Spiritual Energy, his evolved Qing Lian Undying Body had reached a level close to the ten Primordial Celestial Bodies themselves.

Chaos was creation—only lacking the baptism of the world’s first dawn.

”Brother!”

”Clan Leader!”

The Maha Clan’s experts cried out in panic. Their gazes shifted from anger to disbelief—and finally to pure terror.

Qin Tian wasn’t even surprised. He already knew Liu Xi’s true strength. Instead, he muttered worriedly, ”You didn’t kill him, did you? As annoying as he is, it’d be bad if he actually died.”

Liu Xi smiled.

”Relax. He’s not dead—but I’m sure he’ll shed a few layers of skin. Consider it a lesson in humility.”

Ten minutes later, the storm dissipated. Space was cracked, the land torn open, and Maha Tian lay face-down in a crater—unconscious, his entire body scorched black.

If not for the faint flicker of life within him, one would’ve mistaken him for a corpse.

Liu Xi stepped through the broken space, appeared beside him, and nudged him over with his foot.

After casually rummaging through him, Liu Xi took every spatial treasure Maha Tian carried, then turned and left with a flick of his sleeve.

Actions carried consequences. Leaving him alive was already mercy. The spoils would simply serve as payment for his life.

Only after Liu Xi’s departure did the Maha Clan members dare to approach.

They glanced nervously at him, but seeing he paid them no attention, Maha You quickly lifted the unconscious Maha Tian and fled into the sky.

Liu Xi returned to the air, smiling faintly. ”Let’s finish repairing the rift. Wouldn’t want another Heavenly Demon Emperor slipping through.”

Qin Tian nodded, though he added worriedly, ”The Ancient Maha Clan isn’t simple. They have a Saint Grade ancestor and that Saint Artifact, the Yin-Yang Maha Gourd…”

Liu Xi waved dismissively.

”Then they’ll have to find me first. Once this Northern Desolation calamity is over, I think I’ll take a little trip across the Great Thousand World.”
