BTTH: Rebirth of Liu Xi

Liu Xi had consecutively annihilated two Profound Demon Emperors!

But such a feat came at a heavy cost — over half of his Spiritual Energy was depleted, and within the Abyss Domain, there was no stable source from which to replenish it.

Still, slaying two beings of equal rank for merely losing half his strength was a bargain few could ever dream of.

Drawing from his Storage Ring, Liu Xi retrieved a shimmering stream of liquid light — a galaxy of Spiritual Liquid — along with several jade bottles filled with pills. The first held at least one hundred million drops of Sovereign Spiritual Liquid, while the latter contained numerous 9th Tier Treasure Pills.

Liu Xi, after all, was an Alchemist — wealthy, resourceful, and stocked with countless pills.

A little Spiritual Energy loss was nothing.

He swallowed a pill, drank deeply from the liquid stream, and soon a vigorous tide of Spiritual Energy surged back through his meridians. Even in this place bereft of ambient energy, Liu Xi’s resources alone granted him near-endless endurance.

”Good thing I came prepared. If I ever ran dry here in the Abyss Domain, that would be a real disaster.”

His words were light, but his performance had shocked everyone watching.

Another Profound Demon Emperor had fallen!

The Fiend Clan forces trembled. To them, the Profound Demon Emperors were invincible overlords, yet two had already perished in succession. Fear rippled through their ranks, sapping their will to fight.

Especially the last remaining Profound Demon Emperor — his eyes now reflected both dread and desperation. He knew the moment Liu Xi freed his hands, his own death would follow.

Escape, or a final stand?

”Die!”

The Demon Emperor’s crimson pupils flared with madness. Liu Xi would never spare him; the only way forward was through death itself.

If he could first slay Qin Tian and then rally his forces to besiege Liu Xi, there might still be hope.

”Infernal Demon Hand!”

The Demon Emperor’s black flames flared violently, coalescing into a monstrous claw of darkness. An aura of hellish malice exploded outward as endless Demonic Energy surged to his call — here in the Abyss Domain, he was at home.

Under the empowerment of this evil tide, it was as if the Gates of Hell had opened, and the claw that emerged could drag any living being into the abyss.

Across from him, Qin Tian’s gaze sharpened. Though both were Immortal Grade Heavenly Sovereigns, Liu Xi had slain two Demon Emperors already — and Qin Tian could feel his own pride sting.

Why should only Liu Xi stand above all others?

Determination blazed in his eyes as he growled, ”Heavenly Wheel of Demon Slaughter!”

His Heavenly Wheel Demon Slayer Body trembled violently. Boundless Spiritual Energy surged into the spinning golden wheel he wielded. He no longer held back, no longer intended to grind the battle out — this strike would end it!

The wheel’s spin grew faster and faster, until it became a blur — a vortex of destruction forming around it, slicing the void apart. The air itself cracked silently, rent open by an invisible edge sharper than anything mortal or divine.

Meanwhile, the Infernal Demon Hand descended, wreathed in demonic flame that burned hot enough to reduce the heavens to cinders.

Qin Tian’s gaze remained calm. His Celestial Body surged with power as he hurled the Heavenly Wheel forth.

The golden wheel became a streak of light, cleaving through the air and vanishing in an instant.

A heartbeat later —

Swish!

Two faint cutting sounds rang out. The massive black claw split cleanly in half before erupting into an infernal explosion that tore through the sky.

And not only the claw — the Profound Demon Emperor himself froze midair, a look of disbelief still etched upon his face as his body split from crown to heel. One half sank, the other drifted upward before both burst apart into a rain of fire and ash.

This strike didn’t merely destroy his body — it severed his Demonic Soul as well.

Qin Tian remained motionless, his expression calm but his face pale. Fatigue clouded his eyes. The Heavenly Wheel’s might consumed not only his Spiritual Energy but also his Spirit, for such was the nature of the Heavenly Wheel Demon Slayer Body — a weapon that demanded the wielder’s mind and will.

Only those of unyielding resolve could master it. Those who faltered would die when the wheel returned, their souls burned out.

The Demon Emperor’s fragmented soul drifted toward Qin Tian and was devoured by his Demon Slayer Token, whose crimson numbers blazed upward.

In the blink of an eye —

Over ten thousand Demon Slayer Points!

Qin Tian had officially ascended to the rank of Demon Slayer King.

Three Profound Demon Emperors — all dead.

A monumental victory without precedent.

On the side of the Great Thousand World, cheers erupted like thunder. Even in the heart of the Abyss Domain, they felt power surge through their veins. Morale soared beyond its limits.

With the death of all three Profound Demon Emperors, victory was certain. Every warrior knew this triumph would make them heroes — and the countless Demon Slayer Points earned would buy them treasures beyond imagination: Celestial Bodies, Divine Arts, Spiritual Pills, Spiritual Arrays, and more.

At that moment, Liu Xi finished off the remaining two Abyss Demon Emperors and descended near Qin Tian. With a flick of his wrist, he tossed over a jade bottle.

Qin Tian caught it, confused.

”I’m rather interested in these Demonic Flames,” Liu Xi said with a faint smile. ”Trade them to me. This pill can save your life even if you’re a breath away from death.”

Qin Tian inspected the jade bottle, recognizing the pill’s potency instantly. His eyes widened in surprise, then softened. Glancing at the Infernal Flame floating uselessly nearby, he nodded. ”Deal.”

Liu Xi smiled faintly and turned toward the hovering Demonic Flame. He released a surge of azure fire, which swallowed the black inferno whole, sealing it within his Spiritual Space.

”Let’s finish off the remaining ones—”

He never completed the sentence.

The skies trembled violently as an overwhelming tide of evil energy erupted at the edge of the Abyss Domain.

Something ancient and monstrous was awakening — roaring its fury, its aura devouring heaven and earth.

Its presence surged closer at impossible speed. The very world quaked beneath its will.

Even Liu Xi felt a rare chill race down his spine.

A Heavenly Demon Emperor.

Only such an existence could emanate such all-consuming power — a presence as vast and oppressive as divine judgment itself.

Liu Xi’s brow furrowed. To face a Heavenly Demon Emperor here, in the Abyss Domain, would be pure madness.

He exchanged a glance with Qin Tian. Both understood instantly.

”Retreat!” Liu Xi roared.

His voice cracked like thunder, echoing across the battlefield. The Great Thousand World forces, startled but trusting him implicitly, began a swift and orderly withdrawal toward the rift.

Rear ranks surged forward to cover the retreat, reversing formation with perfect precision.

Liu Xi and Qin Tian remained behind to guard the withdrawal. Fighting the Heavenly Demon Emperor in this realm would be suicide. But once they crossed back into the Great Thousand World—

Then the tables would turn.

There, the Heavenly Demon Emperor’s power would weaken. There, they would strike back.

And far away, unseen amidst the chaos—

Maha Tian was already racing toward the battlefield.
