BTTH: Rebirth of Liu Xi

Liu Xi’s body trembled violently as waves of Chaotic Spiritual Liquid surged through him, causing his entire form to radiate light. His original Spiritual Energy was boiling like a raging sea—already fused with the Azure Flame, its quality was extraordinarily high, possessing both destructive and purifying power. Now, that essence was merging with the chaotic aura flowing through his body, transforming into a torrent of Chaotic Spiritual Energy.

Though the two forces—his innate Spiritual Energy and the newly-formed Chaotic Spiritual Energy—were of different origins, there was a strange harmony between them. Their resonance opened a path forward, a chance to break through his bottleneck.

The thick, primordial energy kept blending into his body, each wave being refined and assimilated by his original Spiritual Energy, causing its quality to rise to an entirely new level. The immense density of power soon grew so overwhelming that even his Dou Di physique began to feel the weight of it.

For an Earth Sovereign, the body itself was the Sovereign Sea. Yet even with Liu Xi’s vast, emperor-level vessel, the pressure he now felt proved just how extraordinary the new energy was.

When the transformation reached a critical point, the barrier between energy and flesh began to blur—until, in a brilliant instant, it shattered. Energy and flesh fused perfectly, resonating as one. A soft jade-like glow emerged from Liu Xi’s body, spreading light throughout the chamber.

He had broken through.

Perfect Earth Sovereign!

Within his body, it was as though a storm of pure Spiritual Energy raged. At the heart of that storm floated the Chaos Stone, endlessly devouring and releasing power. The Chaotic Energy it produced poured into Liu Xi’s veins, elevating him higher and higher.

Finally, his body brimmed with Chaotic Spiritual Energy to the very limit—filling every corner of his being and flooding his Sovereign Sea.

When Liu Xi opened his eyes, a smile slowly spread across his face—deep and genuine. His gaze gleamed like twin stars as he exhaled, voice calm but tinged with barely restrained joy.

”Perfect Earth Sovereign Peak!”

It was an unexpected fortune. By harnessing the Chaotic Spiritual Energy from the Chaos Stone, Liu Xi had not only broken through to Perfect Earth Sovereign, but directly ascended to its pinnacle.

He could now sense the final barrier before him—the Heavenly Obstruction. Once that wall was broken, he would step into the Heavenly Sovereign Realm, where body and energy would merge completely to form a Heavenly Sovereign Spiritual Body. When that day came, his strength would stand equal to the heavens themselves.

Stretching his limbs, Liu Xi frowned slightly as he noticed the heaviness weighing down his body. The Chaos Stone—now resting within him—possessed such terrifying density that even the void itself could be suppressed by its weight. Not even a Xumi Ring could withstand it. Now that it resided within his body, he had to bear that weight personally.

”Fortunately, it doesn’t affect my movements,” he murmured with a faint smile. ”And it keeps absorbing and releasing Chaotic Energy, constantly refining my power… making it even purer.”

Liu Xi’s eyes brightened with satisfaction. ”This Chaos Stone… it’s my greatest fortune yet. Anything tied to chaos can’t be ordinary. Chaotic Spiritual Energy, Azure Lotus Power, Chaotic Azure Lotus…”

A gleam of enlightenment flashed through his gaze.

As a transmigrator, Liu Xi was well versed in ancient myths—the Chaotic Azure Lotus was a creation-level existence, said to have been born before heaven and earth. If he could continue to absorb Chaotic Energy, then with his Green Lotus Core Flame as the foundation—having devoured twenty-two Heavenly Flames—perhaps he could one day truly evolve it into the Chaotic Azure Lotus.

Even a trace of that power would be enough to let him stand at the pinnacle of the Great Thousand World—equal to the ancient clans themselves.

Gathering his thoughts, Liu Xi let out a soft chuckle and strode toward the door, his steps heavy yet steady.

Outside the chamber, countless gazes immediately converged upon him. The intensity of their stares made Liu Xi narrow his eyes slightly as he looked toward the courtyard.

An elderly figure exuding immense spiritual pressure approached with a genial smile. Yet beneath that calm demeanor, a flicker of solemnity hid deep in his eyes.

”Haha, congratulations to the young master!” the old man said warmly. ”To make such progress at such a young age—surely, the Great Thousand World’s future elite will have your name among them!”

While his tone was flattering, his heart was uneasy.

’What an oppressive aura… even the Spiritual Energy of heaven and earth seems to bow before him. Such a young Perfect Earth Sovereign—could he be the heir of some ancient clan, traveling in disguise?’

Liu Xi merely smiled faintly. ”I appreciate the kind words. May I know who I have the pleasure of meeting?”

The old man cupped his hands and laughed heartily. ”Ah, I almost forgot to introduce myself. I am Fu Hua, Sect Master of the Dragon Abyss Sect, and the one who oversees the Dragon Abyss Auction Pavilion. Of course, I merely serve a few great figures behind the scenes. But when I learned that the pavilion was handling such an enormous transaction, I naturally had to come in person.”

Liu Xi nodded calmly. He understood the message—Fu Hua was hinting that the pavilion had powerful backers. Still, if they ever dared to cheat him, Liu Xi would not hesitate to act—backers or not.

Maintaining a composed expression, he asked, ”Since Sect Master Fu is here about our transaction, I trust you’ve brought what I requested?”

Fu Hua studied him quietly and nodded to himself. Liu Xi’s poise under pressure convinced him further that this youth’s origins were far from ordinary.

”Half a month ago, we gathered everything you asked for,” Fu Hua replied. ”But since you were in seclusion, we didn’t dare disturb you. Everything is accounted for—though…”

He hesitated, his expression turning slightly troubled.

Liu Xi’s gaze shifted past him to Zhao Yuanyuan, who stood nearby looking nervous yet hopeful. This entire operation had been her doing. If Liu Xi couldn’t pay the balance, she would be the one to suffer the consequences.

”How much are we short?” Liu Xi asked with a faint smile.

Fu Hua’s eyes brightened, and he laughed. ”The young master’s trust honors us. To be frank, the items you provided were valued at two hundred twenty-four billion Heavenly Sovereign Spiritual Liquid. The total cost of the resources you ordered comes to two hundred forty-seven billion. After rounding off, that’s a difference of twenty-three billion.”

”Understood.”

Liu Xi raised his hand, and the Xumi Ring upon his finger glowed brightly. A vast, glittering torrent of Heavenly Sovereign Spiritual Liquid burst forth, filling the sky like a dazzling silver river of stars.

”There—twenty-three billion Heavenly Sovereign Spiritual Liquid,” he said calmly. ”The debt is settled. Now, where are my materials?”

Gasps filled the courtyard. The brilliance of the flowing liquid reflected in every awestruck eye; the sheer wealth radiating from that display left even Earth Sovereigns short of breath.

”Magnificent! The young master is truly generous!” Fu Hua exclaimed, his voice trembling with excitement. A single transaction had earned the Dragon Abyss Pavilion several years of profit.

He waved his hand, and attendants quickly brought forward a Xumi Ring—carried by Zhao Yuanyuan herself.

While the others stared hungrily at the celestial river above, her gaze never left Liu Xi. She knew very well which was more valuable—the gold egg, or the hen that laid it.

Liu Xi didn’t spare her a glance. Accepting the Xumi Ring, he sent his Spiritual Perception inside to inspect it carefully.

This concerned the final materials for refining the Emperor Pill—a task that would determine the success or failure of everything he’d planned. He would allow no mistakes.
