BTTH: Rebirth of Liu Xi

Within the Abyss Domain, endless waves of Demonic Energy raged—turning into storms, torrents, and thunder that poured down from the skies like the breath of apocalypse.

Roars, screams, and battle cries echoed through the heavens. Blood drenched the air and earth alike; broken limbs scattered across the battlefield in a grotesque rain.

Liu Xi advanced through the inferno, each step upon flame, carving a path of devastation. Rivers of fire surged outward, scorching a clearing amidst the Abyss Domain itself. Even the Demon Emperors and Demon Kings were forced to retreat in panic.

Countless Demon Generals and Kings were reduced to ash before they could even scream—each one feeding the blood-red numbers on Liu Xi’s Demon Slayer Token, which soared ever higher.

Though his strength was somewhat suppressed within the Abyss Domain, Liu Xi didn’t push recklessly. He focused on three targets—one Profound Demon Emperor and two Abyss Demon Emperors—each locked in deadly combat with him.

Behind him, Qin Tian struck as well, but finding his power constrained, he prudently targeted a single Profound Demon Emperor.

The remaining four Abyss Demon Emperors were intercepted by Mo Feng and the other four Heavenly Sovereigns. Each of them was a peerless prodigy of the Great Thousand World, capable of battling evenly with the Demon Emperors even here, where the demonic energy reigned supreme.

The Demon Emperors’ colossal forms towered like mountains, their bodies etched with sinister demonic runes that pulsed with eerie light. They exuded a corruption so deep it seemed to rot the very heavens.

In total, fourteen towering figures—Celestial Bodies and Demon Emperors—clashed above the Abyss Domain. The ferocity of their battle ripped open the void, rendering the region below a forbidden zone of annihilation.

This was a battleground reserved for Heavenly Sovereigns and Demon Emperors. Any who dared approach, be they Earth Sovereigns or Demon Kings, would find only death without burial.

Below, the armies of both realms surged once more. Earth Sovereigns summoned their Celestial Bodies, their surging Spiritual Energy transforming into hurricanes that swept across the land.

After countless millennia, Spiritual Energy once again shone within the Abyss Domain—the lost half of the Great Thousand World reclaimed in blood and flame.

Every face burned with determination.

One word shook the skies:

”Kill!”

Spiritual Energy roared like the sea; battle intent surged like the tide.

Among the Great Thousand Palace’s forces were not only Spiritual Array Masters but also Battle Formation Masters—each capable of wielding the collective might of legions. Formations flared, their patterns numbering in the millions, amplifying the warriors’ strength until they rivaled Earth Sovereigns.

The Fiends were caught completely off guard. In the first clash alone, tens of thousands of Demon Kings and Generals were torn to shreds by Spiritual Energy storms.

Demon blood rained down. Severed limbs and black ichor filled the air.

Though the Fiends suffered horrific losses, this was still their realm. Once the initial chaos passed, they rallied swiftly, drawing upon their advantage of terrain and power. The counterattack was immediate and ferocious.

The borderlands of the Abyss Domain soon became a grinder of flesh and souls. Both sides bled, both sides fell—but neither could alter the ultimate outcome.

For in this war, the true deciders of fate were always the Heavenly Sovereigns and the Demon Emperors.

Liu Xi’s azure flames clashed with the abyssal fires of his foes, his Spiritual Energy colliding violently against their Demonic Power. The world trembled under their battle.

Azure and black flames filled the sky, twisting the very air with unbearable heat. Space itself warped; any who entered would be vaporized in an instant—cooked alive from the inside out.

The Profound Demon Emperor, opposite Liu Xi, glared with fury, his blood-red eyes burning with disbelief.

”How… how is this possible? My Infernal Demon Flame—even the Heavenly Demon Emperors praise its might! How can you be unharmed!?”

”Oh? So it’s called Infernal Demon Flame, is it?”

Liu Xi chuckled lightly. The flames these Profound Demon Emperors wielded were indeed formidable, not inferior to the divine fires of the Fire Spirit Clan.

It seemed the Flame Demon Clan condensed their entire strength into that single flame. The Infernal Demon Flame he had seized earlier still brimmed with vast power—enough to propel his cultivation to the Late Immortal Grade Heavenly Sovereign level.

When that time came, even facing a Saint Grade Heavenly Sovereign, he would be capable of standing his ground—or escaping unscathed if needed.

True security came only from one’s own power.

”I’ll be taking your Infernal Demon Flames.”

As his calm voice fell, Liu Xi’s fingers formed seals. Boundless Spiritual Energy surged toward his throat, merging with his Spiritual Power until the two forces resonated.

”Yellow Spring Divine Anger!”

The Azure Lotus Celestial Body opened its mouth, unleashing a devastating soundwave that condensed into a beam of pure destruction.

The beam shattered space itself, appearing instantly before the three Demon Emperors. The foremost Profound Demon Emperor was struck head-on.

His scream was chilling—his eyes lost all focus, his mind thrown into chaos. Even the resilience of a Profound Demon Emperor’s soul faltered beneath the sonic assault.

Had the Fiends not possessed such tenacious vitality, Liu Xi’s ”Yellow Spring Divine Anger” would have shattered his soul entirely.

But while the Profound Demon Emperor barely endured, the two Abyss Demon Emperors beside him were less fortunate. Their souls tore apart under the wave, their vast bodies collapsing into fragments of shadow.

Liu Xi seized the moment.

In an instant, his enormous hand reached out, Azure Flames bursting outward like a tidal surge.

”Great Tragedy Hand!”

The Azure Flame condensed into a colossal palm that crushed down upon the Profound Demon Emperor’s body. Fire blossomed, flooding the heavens.

Under countless watching eyes, the Profound Demon Emperor exploded, his massive form disintegrating into a sea of black fire.

His lingering soul flickered weakly—only for Liu Xi’s Azure Flames to sweep forth and erase it completely. The Infernal Demon Flame within him was seized, compressed, and absorbed into Liu Xi’s control.

The remnants of his shattered soul drifted into the Demon Slayer Token, which began to tremble violently. The blood-red numbers blazed to life, leaping wildly—

From 5,000 to 6,000, 7,000, 8,000, 9,000—until finally, after surpassing 10,000, the surge began to slow.

When the numbers stilled, they read:

12,450!

Two Profound Demon Emperors and countless Demon Kings and Generals—such was the harvest of Liu Xi’s slaughter.

Ten thousand Demon Slayer Points marked the threshold of the Demon Slayer King.

Now, Liu Xi had surpassed it.

He was the Demon Slayer King of the Great Thousand World.
