BTTH: Rebirth of Liu Xi

After banishing the Flame Heavenly Demon Emperor, Liu Xi didn’t immediately relax. To prevent the fiend from clawing his way back, he manipulated the Azure Flame, pouring it endlessly into the rift until the Heavenly Demon Emperor was completely expelled to some unknown realm.

Then, despite being scorched by the Infernal Demon Flame, Liu Xi drew upon the power of space, sealing the spatial fissure shut—welding the very fabric of the void together so that not even a trace of the Demon Emperor could return.

Only after completing this did Liu Xi exhale deeply.

Facing a Heavenly Demon Emperor truly carried crushing pressure.

But as his breathing steadied, he noticed something unusual. His Celestial Body felt… different. Stronger. Its power, speed, toughness, recovery—all had advanced dramatically.

And beyond that, there lingered a mysterious aura—indescribable, ancient, vast.

”Hm? My Celestial Body’s transformation is nearly complete… So the Infernal Demon Flame had this kind of benefit after all. But… it’s still not quite finished.”

Realizing the flame’s hidden potential, Liu Xi’s gaze shifted toward the endless sea of black fire surrounding him. His eyes gleamed with hunger—like a starving wolf spotting prey.

He opened the mouth of his Celestial Body. A vortex of suction burst forth, pulling in the boundless black flames of heaven and earth.

A massive whirlwind of fire formed, a tornado of dark flame that spiraled violently before pouring straight into his body.

In an instant, the Azure Lotus Celestial Body was engulfed in black fire, towering in the sky like a colossal burning torch.

Drip. Drip.

A faint sound echoed—like raindrops falling—but what dripped wasn’t water. It was refined Spiritual Liquid, seeping from the Celestial Body as parts of it burned away. Each droplet shimmered with pure energy, but the black flames devoured it before it ever touched the ground.

The Azure Lotus Celestial Body looked miserable—its once resplendent azure robe of flame had been incinerated. It resembled a snowman melting away in the heat.

Liu Xi clenched his mind, enduring the searing agony as his Spiritual Perception spread throughout his entire form. For the first time, he could distinctly feel it—his Celestial Body was fusing with the Chaotic Spiritual Energy within him.

As the last of the black fire poured in, the Heavenly Wheel Demon Slayer Body—previously swallowed by the flames—finally reemerged.

It too was gravely damaged, shrunken to barely a hundred feet tall. As the demonic flames receded, the Celestial Body disintegrated piece by piece.

Inside it, Qin Tian finally sensed the Flame Heavenly Demon Emperor’s presence vanish. The plan had worked. Relief washed over him—then his suppressed wounds exploded outward. His Spiritual Energy rampaged uncontrollably.

His vision darkened; his body wavered on the edge of collapse. Then, remembering the pill Liu Xi had given him, he forced himself to retrieve the jade vial and crushed it, swallowing the precious pill within.

A surge of medicinal power exploded inside him, spreading through his body, repairing torn flesh and calming the raging Spiritual Energy.

”The effect of this pill… it’s incredible. As expected, Master Qing Lian’s alchemy is extraordinary…”

As vitality returned, Qin Tian turned toward the other side of the sky. The colossal Azure Lotus Celestial Body sat cross-legged amid the flames, still devouring the black inferno despite its melting form.

”Master Qing Lian’s selflessness… to willingly absorb that demonic fire into his own body—truly admirable.”

Qin Tian’s heart filled with respect.

Far away, Mo Feng, Elder Zhao, and the other experts of the Great Thousand World could scarcely contain their joy.

They had actually survived. Not only survived—but won.

Although they hadn’t slain the Heavenly Demon Emperor, to banish him into the void was already a miracle.

Once this calamity ended, Liu Xi and Qin Tian would be hailed across the Great Thousand World—not only for their strength but for their service.

They had repelled the invasion of the Fiend Clan, slain three Profound Demon Emperors and four Abyss Demon Emperors, and even driven back a Heavenly Demon Emperor.

It was an unprecedented victory.

And the Great Thousand Palace had, for the first time, birthed two Demon Slayer Kings!

Meanwhile in the heavens—

The Azure Lotus Celestial Body had devoured all remaining flames. But under the intense burning, its form had nearly liquefied—like a figure made of water, on the verge of dissolving into mist.

Qin Tian grew anxious. To his eyes, this looked like disaster.

At that very moment, Liu Xi reached the critical juncture. His Celestial Body now shimmered like it was made of pure Spiritual Liquid. The Chaotic Spiritual Energy within had completely filled it, and something new was ready to emerge.

Responding to his will—

The Celestial Body shattered!

Countless droplets of luminous Spiritual Liquid floated in the air. Though broken apart, each fragment was still connected by invisible threads of power—an eternal force swirling at the core.

Then—

Crack! Crack! Crack!

A colossal skeleton, tens of thousands of feet tall, materialized in the void. As the structure solidified, that eternal aura grew denser and heavier.

One by one, the droplets of Spiritual Liquid fell upon the bones, and where they touched, life was born—meridians formed, flesh and blood regenerated.

Moments later, a new Celestial Body stood in the sky. It bore Liu Xi’s exact likeness, yet carried a faint trace of demonic aura—the lingering essence of the Fiend Clan’s flames now woven into his power.

Around it flowed strands of Chaotic Qi, ancient and boundless. Its very presence exuded primordial eternity—simply sitting there was enough to suppress all things.

Liu Xi slowly opened his eyes and recalled the Celestial Body into himself. Standing in the air, he smiled faintly.

”Didn’t expect this… to use the Demon Emperor’s flames to complete my Celestial Body’s transformation. I should thank him for that. And…”

His smile deepened.

”This transformation even pushed me into the late Immortal Grade Heavenly Sovereign realm. If that Heavenly Demon Emperor ever returns—this time, I can kill him.”

”Congratulations, Master Qing Lian,” Qin Tian called, stepping forward, awe in his eyes. ”That Celestial Body of yours… what was it just now?”

Liu Xi pondered briefly, then grinned. ”It’s unique to me—called the Chaotic Eternal Azure Lotus Incomparable Undying Body. So, naturally, no one else knows of it.”

Qin Tian blinked. ”??”

Liu Xi chuckled and waved a hand. ”Fine, fine—just call it the Azure Lotus Undying Body.”

Qin Tian: ”...”

Liu Xi turned toward the vast world barrier above. The great rift connecting the two realms still hung across the heavens.

”Let’s repair the fissure together,” he said. ”There are many Heavenly Demon Emperors among the Fiend Clan. The commotion we caused will surely draw attention. If another appears, that would be… troublesome.”

”Agreed.” Qin Tian nodded solemnly.

They moved in unison.

Boundless Spiritual Energy surged from their palms, transforming into pure Spiritual Liquid, which they scattered across the world’s barrier.

Instantly, the fissure—tainted by demonic energy—began to heal under their combined power.

”Stop!”

A thunderous voice echoed from afar, like divine thunder splitting the heavens.

Both Liu Xi and Qin Tian froze, startled, and extended their Spiritual Perception toward the voice.

From the horizon, surrounded by a host of powerful auras, approached a young man with a proud face and a cold gleam in his eyes.

It was none other than—Maha Tian.
