Flash Marriage: He is a Wife-pampering Addict

Chapter 1187: 1186 accompany Tongtong together

Hearing Tongtong’s words, Wen Ran subconsciously turned her head and glanced at Mo Xiuchen.

Mo Xiuchen’s hand around her waist discreetly tightened as he said to Gu Kai and Bai Yiyi, “It’s just accompanying Tongtong on the carousel, don’t dawdle. If you’re going to ride, hurry up and get on.”

“Exactly, there’s no outsiders here anyway, acting like a kid for once isn’t embarrassing.” Wen Jin tried to dissipate their awkwardness.

“Mommy, Daddy.”

Tongtong looked at them expectantly.

“Ranran, come down.” Bai Yiyi called out to Wen Ran.

“Come on, let’s accompany Tongtong for a bit.” Gu Kai’s eyes flickered as he freed one hand, grabbed Bai Yiyi, and pulled her to the carousel.

Bai Yiyi’s face turned slightly red, she really didn’t want to ride the carousel with Gu Kai in front of so many people, their relationship was just too awkward.

“You get on first, then hold Tongtong.”

“You hold Tongtong instead.” Bai Yiyi shook her head, refusing to be held by Gu Kai the way Mo Xiuchen held Wen Ran.

Gu Kai glanced at her, then sat on the carousel holding Tongtong, “Tongtong, hold onto this here.”

“Mommy, quick, quick.” Tongtong turned her head and called Bai Yiyi, seemingly afraid she wouldn’t join them.

Bai Yiyi looked at the carousel, which had seemed so large before, but after Gu Kai and Tongtong sat down, the remaining space suddenly seemed so small.

“Move a bit forward.”

She said softly to Gu Kai.

Gu Kai, in good humor, didn’t make a scene but moved a bit forward, then turned and said, “You’re taking up half the space, if you still think it’s too small, then come sit in front.”

Several people nearby, each with a smile tucked at their mouth corner, watched them with ambiguous expressions.

Bai Yiyi pursed her lips and hoisted herself up.

“Are you seated properly? It’s starting.” Qin Mu asked, then pressed the start button, and the halted carousel began to spin, Bai Yiyi trying her best to maintain distance from Gu Kai.

However, Tongtong couldn’t feel her mother’s presence, and after one round, she started looking for her.

“Mommy, hand.”

Seeing Mo Xiuchen’s hands all around Wen Ran, and Wen Ran embracing Xin Xin, Tongtong also wanted her mother and lowered her head to see Mom’s hands.

“Tongtong, Mommy’s hand is here.”

Bai Yiyi extended her hand, and Gu Kai, holding Tongtong facing him, enabled Tongtong to see her mom.

“Mommy, put it on Daddy.”

Tongtong held her mom’s hand and glanced at Xin Xin’s parents beside them, who were hugging, and pushed Bai Yiyi’s hand towards Gu Kai’s waist.

Bai Yiyi’s face slightly changed, “Tongtong, Mommy’s holding your hand.”

“Daddy.”

Tongtong shook her head as she spoke, stubbornly pushing her hand towards Gu Kai’s waist.

“Haha, Yiyi, Tongtong is so adorable.” An Lin couldn’t hold back any longer and burst into laughter.

Wen Ran also smiled and chimed in: “Yeah, Tongtong, fantastic!”

“Ranran, that’s enough.” Bai Yiyi feigned anger and glared at Wen Ran, who winked at her, as if to say, consider the proposal I made yesterday.

Bai Yiyi certainly understood the implications in Wen Ran’s eyes, thought about what she said yesterday, and now seeing her with both hands being held by Tongtong on Gu Kai’s waist, even though she was just touching his clothes, not really embracing him.

But even so, she could still feel his body warmth through the fabric.

Even the breaths mingling became suffused with the scent of the man sitting in front of her.

Again, as they teased her, her cheeks grew hot in waves, and her heartbeat gradually lost rhythm. Tongtong looked at her own mom and dad, then glanced at Wen Ran and Mo Xiuchen, finally feeling satisfied.

She sat awkwardly for a couple of rounds when Bai Yiyi’s phone rang, giving her an excuse to pull her hand from Gu Kai’s waist.

Seeing the caller ID, a hint of something peculiar flashed in Bai Yiyi’s eyes, she pressed the answer button, “Hello.”

“Yiyi, it’s me, are you free today?”

The voice coming from the phone was Fang Zhiwei’s. Although Bai Yiyi’s phone was near her ear, Gu Kai, sitting in front of her, couldn’t hear Fang Zhiwei’s voice clearly, but he recognized it.

He turned his head, his gaze inquiringly looking at Bai Yiyi.

Bai Yiyi’s eyes flickered, and she forced a somewhat unnatural smile on her face, “I’m out playing with Tongtong, what’s up?”

“Nothing much, I just wanted to come out to play with you and Tongtong, I’m bored alone. Where are you? Let’s come meet you.”

Fang Zhiwei got interested upon hearing she was out playing with Tongtong.

Just as Bai Yiyi was about to say at the amusement park, the man in front of her face darkened, his eyes warningly glanced at her.

The words she was about to say choked back.

“Yiyi, what’s wrong, is it inconvenient to tell me?”

Hearing no response, Fang Zhiwei pressed on from the phone.

Bai Yiyi covered it up with a laugh, “It’s not just me, there’s another friend here too.”

“Ah Kai?”

Fang Zhiwei hesitantly asked.

“No no, it’s a blind date candidate my mom introduced me to.” Gu Kai glared at her hatefully, lowered his head, and whispered something into Tongtong’s ear.

The next second, Tongtong crisply called out, “Mommy.”

“Tongtong is calling me. I’ll call you back this afternoon, Sister Wei, let’s leave it here for now, bye.”

Bai Yiyi, afraid that Tongtong’s next word would be “Daddy,” hastily ended the call with Fang Zhiwei.

Gu Kai’s lips curved into a smug smile; beside him, Wen Jin said to Qin Mu, “Ah Mu, hold up for a sec.”

The carousel came to a stop again.

“Ziyi doesn’t want to ride anymore.” Wen Jin, holding Ziyi, got off, and Mo Xiuchen and Wen Ran also carried Xin Xin off, seeing Ziyi and Xin Xin getting off, Momo didn’t want to ride anymore either.

All of a sudden, the three little darlings got off the carousel, and Bai Yiyi quickly, with a smile, asked, “Tongtong, shall we get off too?”

“Okay.”

Seeing her cousins getting down, Tongtong was no longer interested in continuing the ride, upon hearing this, Bai Yiyi immediately jumped off, stretching her arms to catch her, Tongtong giggled and threw herself into her embrace.

“Tongtong, what do you want to play now?”

Bai Yiyi, holding Tongtong, pointed around the amusement park, there were many attractions to play with, but very few really suitable for Tongtong.

The most important point was that Tongtong couldn’t play alone; she needed an adult to accompany her.

“Bumper cars.” Tongtong pointed to the bumper cars in front of her; she wanted to play that.

Bai Yiyi laughed and nodded, “Sure, mommy will take you to play bumper cars.” As she spoke, Tongtong then turned her head and called back, “Daddy, bumper cars.”

Bai Yiyi mentally cried out.

Next time, she definitely shouldn’t bring Tongtong out to play with Gu Kai. She glanced at Wen Ran and Mo Xiuchen, and said softly, “Tongtong, this time, only daddy can accompany, or mommy can. Look, the bumper car is so small, it can’t fit daddy, mommy, and Tongtong, okay?”

“Big.”

Tongtong’s gaze roamed among several bumper cars, a few seconds later, excitedly pointing to the largest one.
