Flash Marriage: He is a Wife-pampering Addict

Chapter 1162: 1161 are you doing this on purpose?

Bai Yiyi was carrying Tongtong downstairs when she stepped out of the residential complex and saw Gu Kai’s flashy Maybach approaching from a distance.

The Maybach came to a slow stop in front of her.

The car door opened, and Fang Zhiwei emerged with a radiant smile, greeting Bai Yiyi cheerfully: “Yiyi, Tongtong, good morning!”

“Tongtong, say good morning to Aunt Fang.”

Bai Yiyi playfully held Tongtong’s hand and greeted Fang Zhiwei.

Gu Kai got out of the driver’s seat, the golden sunlight from the sky shining directly on his sculpted features, casting a fine layer of gold that made him startlingly eye-catching at first glance.

Tongtong, being held by Bai Yiyi and greeting Fang Zhiwei, turned her head and saw Gu Kai walking over from the front of the car, her previously blank dark eyes suddenly brightened.

Her cherry lips stretched into a smile, blooming across her face.

Adorable to the extreme.

“ba~”

No one knew whether she was just excited to greet Gu Kai, seriously trying to talk by saying “bah,” or making some other unintelligible sound.

Gu Kai’s sensual lips curved with pleasure, and before he even reached Bai Yiyi, he stretched out his arms. Tongtong giggled and squirmed, joyfully flinging her arms open and pouncing towards him.

Bai Yiyi’s mouth twitched, this little flirt.

She wasn’t enthusiastic about Gu Kai just because he was her biological father; in fact, she was pretty generous with her warmth to all handsome men.

Thinking this, Bai Yiyi felt somewhat relieved; at least she wouldn’t feel like she was raising an ungrateful wretch.

She had carried Tongtong for ten months with difficulty, given birth to her, and raised her all by herself, yet her heart was so easily stolen by Gu Kai.

“Tongtong, give daddy a kiss.”

Gu Kai held Tongtong and smiled as he spoke.

In the next second, Tongtong leaned against his handsome face, giving him a smacking kiss, saliva and all, then after kissing, laughed even more heartily.

“Haha, our Tongtong is really adorable.” Gu Kai laughed heartily, lifting Tongtong above his head, her clear giggles ringing out like silver bells in the sky outside the complex.

Fang Zhiwei watched Gu Kai interacting with Tongtong, her face also breaking into a bright smile.

Yet inside, she harbored some complicated emotions…

Bai Yiyi pursed her lips and spoke softly, “In here, there’s Tongtong’s formula, milk bottles, water cups, and essentials like diapers. I’ve also prepared hot water. Remember to make formula for Tongtong, and don’t let her eat anything messy; she’ll get diarrhea.”

“Yiyi, hand it to me.”

Fang Zhiwei reached out proactively, and Bai Yiyi smiled and passed the bag to her.

“Tongtong, say bye to mommy, we’re off to the Ocean Park.” Gu Kai lifted Tongtong high several times before holding her properly to face Bai Yiyi.

Bai Yiyi gently smiled, waved at Tongtong, and cocked her head, “Bye Tongtong.”

This time Tongtong didn’t need any help, and sweetly waved goodbye to Bai Yiyi.

“Yiyi, we’re heading out.”

Fang Zhiwei said one more thing to Bai Yiyi before getting into the car.

Gu Kai waited for Fang Zhiwei to get into the car and hand Tongtong to her, but that’s when trouble arose.

Tongtong clung tightly to Gu Kai and clearly didn’t let Fang Zhiwei hold her.

“Tongtong, come, let Auntie give you a hug so Daddy can drive,” Fang Zhiwei said with great patience, smiling and coaxing gently.

But Tongtong was not buying it.

Gu Kai’s eyes flickered, seeing his daughter clinging onto him. He hesitated slightly and asked gently, “Zhi Wei, can you drive?”

“I’m fine; I can drive.” Fang Zhiwei raised her injured arm, which was not very serious to begin with, and a few days had passed. It was not a problem for her to drive.

“Then you drive, I’ll hold Tongtong.”

After saying this, Gu Kai stepped back with Tongtong in his arms, making way for Fang Zhiwei to get out of the car.

On one side, Bai Yiyi spoke indifferently, “Miss Fang has an injury on her arm. Why don’t you just not take Tongtong today? Once Miss Fang’s arm is healed, I’ll let Tongtong go out and play with you.”

“It’s okay, I can drive.”

Fang Zhiwei quickly explained.

Gu Kai’s gaze swept over Fang Zhiwei’s arm, then he turned to Bai Yiyi and asked, “Do you have plans today?”

“…Yes,”

Bai Yiyi paused for a moment and then nodded vigorously.

She did not intend to be a third wheel.

“What plans do you have? If they’re not too important, just cancel them. Tongtong is usually looked after by you and the nanny, she might not be comfortable going out with us. If you come along, and if Tongtong cries or gets hungry or something, it will be better with you there.”

After speaking, Gu Kai didn’t give Bai Yiyi the chance to refuse and stuffed Tongtong back into her arms, then said to Fang Zhiwei, who was just about to get out of the car, “Zhi Wei, no need for you to get out, I’ll drive.”

Bai Yiyi’s mouth was slightly open, her delicate features showing three parts surprise and two parts displeasure, her eyes fixed on Gu Kai.

What kind of creature is this man?

Why should she follow him just because he says so? She pursed her lips, speaking stiffly, “You go ahead. Tongtong has been to the ocean park a few times before. She won’t go today; I’ll take her when I have time.”

The more domineering Gu Kai was, making decisions without consulting her, the less she wanted to go.

“Bai Yiyi, are you doing this on purpose?”

Gu Kai took a few steps out, heard Bai Yiyi’s words, and turned back. His gaze darkened with a deep layer, looking at her somberly.

Bai Yiyi blinked innocently, “I don’t understand what you mean. You only mentioned taking Tongtong out yesterday. I thought you were taking Tongtong with you, so I arranged my own schedule. Now that the situation has changed, then Tongtong can just go another time.”

After she finished speaking, she ignored Gu Kai’s grim face and smiled gently at Fang Zhiwei, “Miss Fang, the two of you go on.”

“This…”

Fang Zhiwei looked at Bai Yiyi somewhat helplessly.

Gu Kai was not a hot-tempered person, at least, Fang Zhiwei rarely saw him lose his temper, the time Momo went missing being an exception.

But in the eyes of others, the always gentle and elegant Doctor Gu was always furious when it came to Bai Yiyi.

“Yiyi, Ah Kai specially made a call and arranged fun activities for Tongtong to make sure she enjoys herself. If you can cancel your plans for today, come with us.”

Fang Zhiwei glanced at Gu Kai, who was standing there with a stern face, and then said to Bai Yiyi with a smile.

Actually, she also hoped that Bai Yiyi would not be a third wheel.

“I’m really sorry, I have an appointment with an important person today. It’s not my style to cancel at the last minute,” Bai Yiyi said apologetically.

After a slight pause in her words, she turned and said to Gu Kai, “How about this, call the driver over to drive. Miss Fang has an injured arm, you can’t be unsympathetic and make her work. If her arm’s injury due to taking Tongtong out doesn’t heal for a long time, I would feel guilty too.”
